Kal-El was standing outside Lois Lane's apartment building. He had faced the likes of Zod and Darkseid but what he was about to say to Lois made him nervous. He just hoped Lois would take it in a civilized manner. He buzzes her apartment number and talks into the intercom, "Lois, its Clark."

The lobby door is buzzed open and he makes his way to Lois' floor and knocks. "What brings you here, Smallville? I thought you were in deep space or something?" asked Lois.

"Lois, we have to talk," said Kal-El.

"What is it, Smallville?"

"I think we should break up, Lois. I, I'm in love with someone else."

"It's Wonder Woman isn't it?"

"I can't believe that you would choose that goddamned Amazon whore over me, Clark!"

"Don't call Diana a whore, Lois."

"Oh! It's Diana now. Is it? Go to hell, Smallville! Take you Amazon whore with you!"

"I think I've worn out my welcome, Lois. I'm leaving."

"You've just made the biggest mistake of your life Superman, Clark or whatever your name is! No one does this to Lois Lane! No one! You hear me! I'll make you fucking regret this you alien piece of shit!" said a fuming mad Lois Lane as she slams the door of her apartment as Kal-El leaves.

"I finally did it, Bruce. I've finally broken up with Lois," says Kal-El as he enters the Batcave through a secret passageway.

"Lois wasn't right for you. You know that, right? Just because you thought Diana was too good for you, you went for Lois. Now you can try to make it right. I've seen the way you and Diana look at each other and I can see something beyond friendship there," says Batman.

"I never knew you could give relationship advice, Bruce. You never cease to amaze me," says Kal-El as he chuckles.

"For the record, the looks Diana and you give each other annoy me. What are you waiting for? Stop moping around and go to her!" says Batman with a smirk.

"Thank you, Bruce."

Diana was behind her desk at the Themysciran Embassy. She was surfing through the news channels, when she heard a knock coming from her balcony.

She pulled the curtains apart and saw Kal-El outside her balcony motioning for her to open the balcony doors.

"Kal, why are you here?"

"I broke up with Lois, Di."

"Why would you do something like that, Kal? You go back to her this minute and tell her to take you back."

"I'm in love with someone else, Di. I've been in love with her for a longest time."

"Someone else, Kal?"

Kal-El shortened the gap between them and puts his hands on Diana's shoulders, he looks into her eyes and says, "I've been in love with you ever since the day I met you, Di. I kept it to myself because I thought I wasn't good enough for you. I hope it's not too late. I love you, Di."

Kal-El's admission made Diana feel weak in the knees.

"It isn't too late, Kal. I, I love you too," says Diana as she melts into Kal-El's embrace.
