Later that evening, Ash and Dawn have thrown a party in the Pokémon Center. It was all in agreement, and with the help of Nurse Joy, who has allowed it to happen after a small… persuasion, done by Ash.

It wasn't a party because Ash got to the final of the Sinnoh League. It was a party for Lillie, and for her success. As such, Ash, and Dawn decided to celebrate her success, and surprise her with the party.

Besides Ash, and Dawn, as well as Nurse Joy; Jessica, and Barry also helped in preparing the party. Surprisingly, even Athena showed up. She wasn't happy that she lost, but she admitted that she has lost against a better trainer, with a stronger Pokémon, and a better fighting style. Let's face it. Lillie's fighting style where she allows her Pokémon to be taken out in order to take a stronger Pokémon out, is unique. Add a fact that Lillie has some surprising moves, like her Mamoswine's Fissure, it means that she is really hard to deal with.

Athena understood that, and accepted it. She promised herself that she will work harder from now on, and one day, defeat Lillie.

Unknowingly, that day Lillie has gained her greatest rival.

The party went well into the night, and everyone had a good time. Even Cynthia has shown up, much to Barry's, and Jessica's shock.

At one point, Ash, and Athena ended up outside of the Pokémon Center, and had a small talk.

"You got that Darkrai on a Newmoon Island," Ash said to Athena, drawing her attention. "Didn't you?"

Athena smiled. "I should have known that you will figure it out." She said.

"It wasn't really hard." Ash shrugged.

"I'm curious," Athena suddenly spoke. "You know who I am, and who I work with," Ash narrowed his eyes at her. He wondered where she is going with this. "Why is it that you never tried to do something to me? I know of your hatred toward our organization, and all of its members. Yet, you've never tried to harm me. You even let Jessie, go. On the other hand, you caused so much harm to Hunter J, and even killed her and her man in the end. Why is that?"

Ash looked at Athena for a few moments, before he turned his head away from her, and spoke. "You are right," he said. "I hate everything about your organization, and one day… I will take it out, if it's the last thing I ever do.

"The reason I never harmed you is simple. As bad, and ruthless I am sometimes, I can't bring myself to harm a little girl." Athena narrowed her eyes at that.

"I'm not a little girl." She said angrily.

"You are to me," He said. He wasn't bothered by her anger. "As such, I can't bring myself to hurt you. I can't send you to jail, either, as I don't have any proof that you are a member of the Shadow Legion. On the other hand…. I can throw you in a… special jail, and no one will know about it," he looked at Athena with narrowed eyes, making her flinch for a moment, "and I might just do that in the future. For now, though… you will stay free, and alive."

Athena was silent for a few moments. "What about Jessie?" She asked.

"Well, she isn't a little girls," Ash said, and Athena scoffed at that. "Normally, I wouldn't have a problem to kill her. I also can't legally send her to jail, as I have no proof that she has done something illegal, and telling the police that I read her mind, won't work.

"For now… I'll just mess with her, and make her sweat. I'll see what happens in the future.

"As for Hunter J… she was bad. She had no redeeming qualities, and what she's done in the end, with the Lake Guardians, was what has sealed her fate. There was no way I was letting her walk away after that." Ash looked at Athena, before he added. "If your organization wants its members to live… then leave them in prison once they are arrested, and don't break them out. 'J' would be alive if you didn't free her after she was arrested in the Snowpoint City."

Athena knew that Ash is right, as such, she had no way to counter anything he has said.

There was a few minutes of silence between them. Athena just set on the stone wall, and looked at the ocean, while Ash stood next to her doing the same.

"What do you plan to do next?" Athena suddenly asked.

Ash looked at her and smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know?" He asked teasingly, and with a smirk.

Athena glared at him, only making his smirk widen.

Ash looked back at the ocean, before he said. "Tomorrow, I battle against Lillie. After that… I'll see. I'm definitely going home, first. I'll visit Rota Kingdom, and spend some time there. After that, I'm going to Unova." Then, he looked at Athena. "You can tell that to your leader, if she wants to send someone to follow me."

Athena looked at Ash, with surprise on her face.

Ash noticed the surprised look on her face, and said. "Why the surprise," he asked. "I know you've been following me through Sinnoh, and I know about those two, who keep tabs on me in Alola. It isn't much of a stretch that you will have me followed in Unova, or wherever I head next."

"And you don't have a problem with that?" Athena questioned.

Ash shrugged. "The more you follow me, the more you will learn how dangerous I am," he said, while looking at Athena with narrowed eyes, which flashed black for a moment, freaking her out. "The more you realize how dangerous I am… the more you will come to understand that your organization will not be able to defeat me. All your attempts will fail, and ultimately, the organization will fall, with its members mostly dead, and few lucky ones in jail for the rest of their lives… Then again… death might be preferable to a life in jail. Wouldn't you agree?"

Athena had no words to respond with to Ash's claims, and threats.

The next morning, Ash, and Lillie got a big surprise when they got up, and walked down from their room in the hotel.

The surprise was the people who waited them down there. They were Lillie's mother, and brother, as well as Professor Kukui, his wife, and son, as well as Lana, Mallow, Sophocles, and Kiawe.

The moment she saw her mother and brother, Lillie run to them without even bothering to take a good look.

Ash on the other hand, took a look at everyone who has appeared, before he went to say 'hello' to all of them.

The first person he noticed is Kiawe. The reason he noticed him first is because the guy is wearing a shirt, which is strange for him, as he's always walking around without one. Now, he's wearing a black shorts, and red shirt with buttons, as well as sandals.

The next one is, Sophocles. He's kind of hard not to notice, as he is the shortest, but the widest of all those in the group. Sophocles is the same as Ash's remembers him. Short, and fat, wearing shorts, and white t-shirt. Ash was surprised to see him, because of all those who showed up, Sophocles was the only one who hasn't stayed in Alola. Instead, he left at about the same time as Ash did, and went to Mossdeep Space Center in Hoenn; with his cousin, Molayne as part of his dream of becoming an astronaut.

As such, Ash is surprised to see that he has come from Hoenn, unlike the others who came together from Alola.

The next is Gladion. The guy looks the same as he did since Ash saw him when he arrived in Alola. Black Bermuda pants, black blouse, and red sneakers.

Then, there was Lana.

She has certainly grown up in over a year since the last time Ash saw her. They spoke over the phone but he hasn't seen her, and now that he does he can say that she looks much more like her mother, which is a great thing as Lana's mother is very hot. Ash knows that very well.

The difference between Lana, Ash remembers, and the one he sees right now in front of him, is more in body size, then a change of clothing. She still wears her blue short pants, blue slippers, and white sleeveless shirt. There is no difference in clothing, but her hair is now shoulder-length, and there is no hairband. As a 12-year-old girl, she has started to show signs of growing, as she has small bulges on her chest area, meaning that her boobs have started to grow. They were practically nonexistent the last time Ash saw her.

Mallow is next. She is actually a year older then Lana, and Lillie, so she is 13-years-old right now. She wears green mini skirt, with yellow line going around the skirt near the bottom. On her upper body she wears a gray t-shirt, with a collar, and a pocket on her right breast. Her breasts are very visible from below the t-shirt, as hers are bigger then Lana's, and Lillie's. They are probably as big as Athena's, and Athena is almost three years older than Mallow. Finally, she wears black low-heel sandals. Her hairstyle is the same as it used to be, and she still wears a flower on her hair.

The next two were Professor Kukui, and Burnet. They look the same, and the only addition to them is the child, which Burnet is holding. Ash has heard that they had a child, but he has never seen him, so this will be a perfect chance to meet a small boy.

Finally, it's Lusamine. And DAMN, does she look hot, or what. She's wearing black leather leggings. Black high-heels. White long-sleeved shirt, with a top few buttons unbuttoned, showing a good deal of her breasts.

And then there is her hair. At one point while he was in Alola, Ash expressed his opinion and said that he finds her hairstyle ridiculously bothersome. The next time he saw her after that, her hair was quite shorter, and was going to her upper shoulder blades, and was tied in a half bun. Ash was surprised when he saw that, but he was satisfied. He made sure to show her how satisfied he was right then, and there.

Ash was happy to see that her hairstyle, is the same as after the change.

All in all, Lusamine looks like a very hot woman, who is in her late thirties, but looks 10 years younger. The fact that she's dressing like a 20 something year old woman, helps a lot in making her look younger, and hotter.

That group of people is now in the Pokémon Village in the Sinnoh Region, where Ash and Lillie are going to have a final match in just a few hours. As such, Ash was curious to find out why they are all there. Of course, it could be easily guessed that they all came to watch the match. But he might as well confirm it.

"I'm surprised to see all of you here." Ash said to everyone, as he approached them.

The moment they saw him, Mallow, and Lana run at him, and jumped at Ash at the same time.

Because of how much bigger he is compared to them, not to mention how physically strong her is, Ash was able to catch both girls, and hold them up, with their legs wrapped around his torso, and their arms around his neck. The two girls pulled this off, by jumping at Ash from his sides.

They both hugged Ash, and each kissed him on both cheeks. They wanted something more, but they held themselves back due to the fact that they are at the public place.

Those who saw this, and didn't know Ash and the girls, wondered what this is all about. Those who knew them and of their relationship, had different thoughts. The guys - those being Kiawe, Gladion, Sophocles, a small part of Kukui, as well - thought of Ash as a lucky bastard.

All the other woman, and girls - except Burnet - were jealous. They are Dawn, Lillie, and Lusamine.

"We watched the matches on the TV, but after the semifinals yesterday, we decided to come and watch the final match in person." Kukui said.

Ash raised his eyebrows. "You sure came here fast." He said.

"We used my company's jet." Lusamine said.

"Right…" Ash said. "Well, I'm happy to see all of you here. It's been a long time, that's for sure."

"It really has," Professor Burnet said. "And we are happy to see you and Lillie, and to know that you are doing so well."

Ash nodded, before he approached to Professor Burnet, and the kid she was holding. Mallow, and Lana are still holding onto him, and have no intention of letting go.

Ash wasn't bothered by it. He was strong enough to walk normally, even while having both of them attached to him like glue.

"So this is your son," Ash said, as he looked at the little boy, who looked back at Ash, and smiled at him. Ash smiled back before he lifted his right hand and touched the little boy by the cheek, making him giggle.

"Yes," Kukui said. He was standing next to his wife, and was watching as his son was playing with Ash's finger. "This is, Lei."

"Hi, Lei," Ash said to brown-haired boy. "Nice to meet you."

The kid didn't understand him, but he still giggled.

"Congratulations, you two," Ash said to Kukui, and Burnet. "I'm happy to see that you are doing so well."

"We are happy as well, Ash." Burnet smiled.

Ash then looked at Lusamine, and looked her up and down. The woman noticed that he was checking her out, and actually blushed.

"I'm happy to see you, Ash." Lusamine said. Lillie said standing on one side of her, while Gladion was standing on the other. They are both looked between Ash, and their mother. They knew what's going on, and neither was happy, but there was nothing they can do about it.

"Not as happy as I am." Ash said with a smirk, making the blonde-haired woman, blush crimson.

Everyone there groaned at Ash, and Lusamine. They all knew about Ash, and his… conquests in Alola. They know perfectly that one of those conquests is Lusamine, and that she's been going on, and on about Ash, ever since he left Alola. She couldn't wait to see him. It was actually her idea to come and watch the final match, and that's not so much so she can see Lillie, as much so she can see and be with Ash.

Of course, she did want to see Lillie, but she would have seen her soon enough, as Lillie would have come home in just a few weeks, if not days. There was no reason to go to her - except to watch the match - and they could have still done that from the TV, just like the ones before.

No. Lusamine wanted to come, and see Ash. Everyone knew that.

The few hours before the start of the final round of the Sinnoh League; Ash, and Lillie spent with their friends, and Lillie's family.

They had some fun, they talked a lot about the journey through Sinnoh, while the others spoke of what they've been doing since Ash left the Alola Region.

And so, the hours passed, and it was time for the final round to start. A final of the Sinnoh League, and a match between Ash, and Lillie.

Even though they've known each other for a long time, the two of them have never really had an official match. The finals of the Squallville competition, doesn't really count. The same goes for the final of the Tag-Team Tournament, in the Hearthome City.

This will be their first, one-on-one, official match. A full match, and the better trainer will come out on top.

Usually in these kind of matches, Ash is an absolute favorite for the win, but this time Lillie has high chances to win, as she will be using her strongest Pokémon. Will Ash win, depends on the team he chooses. If he uses the Sinnoh Pokémon, he stands no chance. If he uses Alola Pokémon, he has high chances, and if he uses a mix, it's hard to tell.

So, the winner will be decided by Ash's choices of Pokémon.

Right now, Ash, and Lillie are on their positions on the battlefield.

The battlefield itself is a plain ground, so no one will really have any form of advantage. The referee is also standing next to the battlefield, and looks ready to start the match, as soon as the announcer and the commentator of the tournament, ends his speech.

While Ash, and Lillie are on the battlefield, their friends and families are in the VIP section of the stadium. This was due to Ash's connections with Cynthia, and Charles Goodshow, so he was able to make arrangements for all those who came from Alola, as well as Barry, Jessica, and Athena; to watch the match from the VIP section, along with Goodshow, and Cynthia.

When the commentator finally ended his speech, and it was finally time for the match to start; the referee went and explained the rules. Six-on-six battle. The match is over when one side losses all six Pokémon. Both trainers can switch their Pokémon as they wish… basically the same rules as for any official match.

"Chose your first Pokémon!" The referee said.

Ash, and Lillie took their first Poke Ball, and called their first Pokémon. "Come on out, Cloyster/Brionne!" Both yelled at the same time, as their Pokémon showed at the battlefield. Lillie chose her Cloyster, while Ash started with Brionne.

With both sides choosing their first Pokémon, the referee started the match. "BEGIN!"

"Brionne, start with Hyper Voice." Ash started the battle.

"Use, Withdraw." Lillie defended from Brionne's attack, as her Cloyster closed his shell which protected him from the multiple light blue rings, which Brionne shot from her mouth.

"Hydro Pump." Ash called his Pokémon's next move. Brionne went, and fired a powerful water type attack, which struck Cloyster, head-on, but it didn't do much damage, except send it back few feet.

"Leer." Lillie said to her Cloyster, who opened his shell, and his eyes glowed red as he looked at Brionne.

Brionne flinched for a moment, and her defense dropped.

"Ice Beam." Lillie said.

"Protect." Brionne defended from Cloyster's attack by forming a barrier, which stopped the Ice Beam. "Hyper Voice, once again." Ash said.

"Withdraw." Lillie said.

Just like earlier, Hyper Voice did nothing, but it wasn't supposed to. Ash used it only as a distraction, as he had his Brionne use Iron Tail, right after Cloyster used Withdraw.

Iron Tail, did work on Cloyster, and dealt him damage. It even caused his shell to open up, and allowed Brionne to hit him right on the face with Hydro Pump.

"Icicle Crash." Lillie said to Cloyster.

Cloyster blew a cold wind from his mouth, which then formed into a large icicle, which then hit Brionne, dealing her some damage.

"Baby Doll Eyes." Ash said, while smirking.

Brionne looked at Cloyster, and winked at him. Pink hearts came from the wink, and went at Cloyster. His eyes turned into hearts, as he became infatuated with Brionne.

Lillie groaned at this, while Ash smirked. Then, Ash told Brionne to use Hyper Voice.

This time, the attack did hit Cloyster, as due to his infatuation he wasn't able to use Withdraw.

Unfortunately for Ash - but fortunately for Lillie - this wasn't enough to defeat Cloyster. Hyper Voice damaged him, but also made him come back to his senses, and was no longer infatuated.

"Use Spike Cannon." Lillie said. Cloyster closed his shell, glows white, and fired multiple white spikes from the shell toward Brionne.

Brionne used Protect do defend herself, and stopped the spikes from reaching her. Then, she dropped the barrier, and used Baby Doll Eyes.

Again, Cloyster fell for it, and was hit. First he was hit straight in the face by a Hyper Voice, before Brionne jumped at him, and slammed him with Iron Tail, before he can close the shell.

Cloyster fell down. He was defeated.

"Cloyster is unable to battle," the referee called! "The winner is Brionne!"

Lillie sighed as she lost the first round, and is starting the match with a loss. She returned her defeated Cloyster, before she sent out her next Pokémon.

"Let's do this, Sandslash!" Lillie called her second Pokémon. It was Alolan Sandslash.

Ash saw his next opponent, and looked at his Brionne. "Want to continue?" He asked her, only to get a nod back. Ash smiled. "Then let's do this."

"BEGIN!" The referee started the second round.

"Sandslash, use Swift." Lillie started the second round.

Sandslash jumped into the air, and then started to roll in circle, while shooting yellow stars from his body.

The stars went toward Brionne, and rained down on her, dealing her damage.

"Hydro Pump." Ash said. Brionne fired a powerful blast of water at Sandslash, but Lillie told him to use Rollout.

The blast of water hit Sandslash, but since he was using Rollout, it simply bounced off of him, and did no damage. "Now use Dig." Lillie said.

Sandslash jumped in the air, and then went underground.

Brionne looked around, trying to see and sense where Sandslash will come from. Ash was doing the same, but he easily found Sandslash. He could simply tell his Brionne, when to dodge, but he decided to leave it be. He doesn't want to use his powers in a battle against Lillie. On top of that, this will be a good training for his Brionne to learn and sense where the attack will come from, when she can't see it.

Sandslash suddenly jumped from underground, right in front of Brionne. Brionne reacted quickly, and dodged to the side, but she wasn't fast enough so one of Sandslash' claws nicked her on the cheek.

"Iron Tail." Ash said to Brionne. Her tail glowed, and hardened, before she did a somersault, and slammed her tail on top of Sandslash' head, sending him head-first into the ground.

"Now use, Hydro Pump." Ash said. Brionne used the chance that Sandslash was stunned from the blow to the head, and fired another Hydro Pump, which hit him and sent him flying, dealing him some more damage.

"Come on, Sandslash," Lillie called her Pokémon. "Don't give up! Get up, and use Blizzard!"

Sandslash got up, and used the most powerful Blizzard he could. He fired it from his mouth, and toward Brionne.

Brionne used Protect to defend herself, but Sandslash wasn't letting go. He kept firing Blizzard, until the whole field was covered in ice, and even the barrier which was protecting Brionne was covered in ice.

Luckily for Brionne, the barrier held, so she was safe inside. She then went, and released the barrier, which caused the ice around it to break and fall around Brionne.

She was surprised when she saw Sandslash spinning really fast, and going directly toward her. He was using Gyro Ball, and there was no time for Brionne to dodge, or defend.

Brionne was hit - hard - and sent flying out of the battlefield, where she crashed near the bottom of the bleachers.

Luckily for her, due to her endurance, and the fact that she has some resistance to Steel Type moves; she wasn't defeated.

She got up - with some trouble - and got back to the battlefield.

"Can you keep this up, Brionne," Ash asked his Pokémon? "Or do you want to take a break?"

Brionne looked at him, and shock her head. She had a determined look on her face.

She has always been like this. Never giving up, until she can't battle anymore. The only way for her to get out of battle is if she is defeated, but never replaced.

Ash knew this, but still had to ask. He was concerned about his Pokémon. In the end, he nodded, and Brionne looked back toward Sandslash.

Then, she gave a cry, and started to glow, much to everyone's shock. Even Ash was surprised, as it's been a while since Brionne evolved from Popplio, but it didn't seem that she will evolve into Primarina any time soon.

Soon, the glow disappeared, and in place of Brionne stood a much larger, and more powerful Primarina.

"Congratulations." Ash said to his newly evolved Pokémon.

She looked at him, and smiled. She was satisfied to have evolved, and is now much stronger, and capable of taking on Alolan Sandslash.

Primarina looked back at Sandslash, before the battle is resumed. Primarina stood up on her tail and started to sing, forming an orb of water above her head. Then, the orb bursts into multiple bubbles, which Primarina fired at Sandslash.

The bubbles hit Sandslash, dealing it damage.

This also served for Ash to see that his Primarina now knows Sparkling Aria, though he already knew it. Primarina learns that move upon the evolution.

"Flash Cannon." Lillie called her Sandslash' next attack.

"Counter with Hydro Pump." Ash said.

The two Pokémon fired their attack, which canceled each other out.

"Dig." Lillie said.

"Find him." Ash said to his Primarina, who closed her eyes, and tried to sense where Sandslash will come from.

"Use, Slash." Lillie said, just before Sandslash burst from underground, with his right claw's glowing. Then, he slashed at Primarina, but she managed to dodge.

"Use Iron Tail." Ash said, and Primarina quickly swung her glowing tail.

Luckily for Sandslash, he was able to use Rollout, so when he was hit the damage was lessened as the Rollout bounced the Iron Tail back.

"Now, use Slash, again." Lillie said. Sandslash' right claw glowed, and he slashed at Primarina. This time, she didn't dodge, and was hit by the attack and dealt more damage.

"Use Surf." Ash suddenly said.

Primarina gave a cry to the air, before a large wave was formed in front of her. She then jumped on it, and the wave went toward Sandslash.

Sandslash used Rollout to defend, as that's how he usually defends, but this time the water attack was too powerful, and the Rollout was broken. Sandslash was engulfed in water, and swept out of the battlefield.

Still, Sandslash wasn't defeated. He got up, and went back to the battlefield. As soon as he did, he heard Ash telling his Primarina to use, Baby Doll Eyes.

Sandslash knew he was in danger, but luckily for him, Lillie told him to use Dig, which he did, just before the pink hearts hit him. Thus, he dodged the attack.

"Use Slash." Lillie said, just before Sandslash burst from underground.

"Counter with Iron Tail." Ash said.

Primarina swung her tail, and clashed with Sandslash. The two attacks bounced back, which led to neither Pokémon getting any damage.

By that point, both Pokémon were tired from all the battling. Especially Primarina, as she already had a round with Cloyster, unlike Sandslash.

As such, Ash decided to go with one attack, at full power, and see what happens.

"Use Hydro Pump. Full power." Ash said to his Primarina.

Lillie realized the same thing that Ash did, so she decided on the same thing. "Use Flash Cannon. Also full power!" She said to her Sandslash.

Primarina rose her head, and took a deep breath. Then, she blew the most powerful blast of water, she possibly could. It was quite powerful even with her exhaustion.

On the other side, Sandslash formed a silver orb in between his hands, and then fired a silver beam, about as powerful as Primarina's Hydro Pump.

The two attacks clashed at the middle of the battlefield, before they started to push at each other.

Primarina, and Sandslash pushed with full force into their attacks, which were placed under more and more pressure. Then… both attacks exploded, which caused a huge shockwave to spread around the battlefield, and threw both Pokémon backwards. The shockwave even caused Lillie to stumble back, and almost fall on her ass, but she luckily stood straight. It would have been quite embarrassing to fall down in front of all those people on the stadium, not to mention of all the other people who were watching the finals from the TV's.

The referee looked at the two Pokémon, and saw that they have both passed out. Thus, "Primarina, and Sandslash are unable to battle," he called! "This round is a draw!"

Ash, and Lillie sighed, but then smiled. They weren't happy with the draw, but they were happy that their Pokémon gave it their all.

The two trainers returned their Pokémon, thanked them for the great battle, before they took another Poke Ball, each.

"Come on out, Trumbeak/Aerodactyl!" Ash, and Lillie, released their Pokémon at the same time. It turned out that they are both part Flying Types.

Ash smiled when he saw Aerodactyl. He knew that Lillie will send him as her third Pokémon, as her Pidgeot, and Alolan Ninetales are stronger, while Mamoswine can use Fissure, which is a one-hit knockout move, and as such, Mamoswine is very valuable even if he's not more powerful than Aerodactyl.

"BEGIN!" The referee started the third round.

"Start with, Stone Edge." Lillie started the round.

"Dodge, then use Bullet Seed." Ash said.

Aerodactyl created two rings around himself, before they turned into stones, which he then launched at Trumbeak.

Trumbeak showed his speed as he dodged the stones, while flying in the air, before he then fired multiple gold seeds surrounded in light green aura, from his beak. The seeds hit Aerodactyl, and caused him small amount of damage.

"Use Meteor Beam." Lillie said.

"Counter with, Flash Cannon." Ash said.

The two Pokémon fired their attacks, which collided and canceled each other out.

"Crunch." Lilli called. Her Aerodactyl flew toward Trumbeak, his teeth glowing.

Trumbeak dodged, before Ash told him to use Flash Cannon. The attack hit Aerodactyl, and sent him crashing into the ground.

Aerodactyl got up quickly, though. "Iron Tail." Lillie immediately called.

Aerodactyl flew fast toward Trumbeak, showing his amazing speed. He was in front of Trumbeak in an instant, and swung his tail at Ash's Pokémon.

Trumbeak tried to dodge, but was only partially successful. He dodged to the side, but was nicked by Aerodactyl's tail to the side, and caused him to spin around, before he crashed into the ground.

"Overheat." Ash said immediately, even though Trumbeak was on the ground, and covered in dust cloud. He knew that this won't be enough to take him out.

He was right, as Trumbeak fired a very powerful Fire Type attack, which Ash taught him. He didn't even get off the ground, while doing that. He fired it from down there, and broke the cloud of dust.

Aerodactyl, and Lillie weren't expecting it, so Aerodactyl was hit in the face by one of the most powerful Fire Type attacks. This caused him some burns, even with his resistance to fire.

Aerodactyl recovered quickly, before he flew down, and hit Trumbeak with Steel Wing, sending the small Pokémon to the ground, just after he got up.

Trumbeak got up, used Flash Cannon, which struck Aerodactyl, and dealt more damage.

"Meteor Beam." Lillie said.

"Dodge, then use Flash Cannon." Ash countered.

Trumbeak dodged Aerodactyl's attack, before he fired an attack of his own. Aerodactyl dodge it, though, and then used Crunch on Trumbeak, dealing him even more damage.

"Bullet Seed." Ash said to his Pokémon, who turned his head toward Aerodactyl, and shot him in the face, which caused Aerodactyl some pain, and made him release Trumbeak.

"Flash Cannon." Ash said. Trumbeak fired the attack, and hit Aerodactyl.

"Iron Tail!" Lillie said.

"Counter with Steel Wing." Ash said.

Trumbeak' wings glowed, and hardened, just like Aerodactyl's tail. Then, the two Pokémon flew at each other. Aerodactyl somersaulted mid-air, and swung his tail from above Trumbeak. Trumbeak flew up, and hit the Iron Tail, with his right wing.

The clash of two steel type attacks created a boom, and a shockwave, which spread around the battlefield. It also caused sparks to appear around the area of collision.

Eventually, the two Pokémon were pushed away from each other, and floated midair several meters away from each other.

"Meteor Beam." Lillie said.

"Counter with Overheat." Ash said.

The two attacks clashed, and while normally Overheat packs more power than Meteor Beam, Overheat is an attack which gets weaker every next use, and since this is the second time Trumbeak has used it, it makes it less powerful, and about equal to Meteor Beam.

The two attacks clashed, and exploded, which caused a cloud of smoke to rise between the two Pokémon.

"Prepare, Flash Cannon, Trumbeak." Ash said to his Pokémon.

Trumbeak focused the energy for the attack, and then waited. He knew what Ash is doing. He's being prepared for the attack from Aerodactyl, who is going to appear any second now, and due to Aerodactyl's greater speed, Trumbeak wouldn't have time to prepare, and fire his attack. Thus, Ash's order.

Suddenly, Aerodactyl broke through the smoke cloud, with his wings glowing. Trumbeak was shocked by the speed with which Aerodactyl appeared, and didn't even have time to dodge, or fire his prepared attack.

Trumbeak was struck by the Steel Wing, and sent flying backwards.

Somehow, while flying back, Trumbeak was able to fire the Flash Cannon, right before he hit the ground. The attack hit the surprised Aerodactyl, and dealt him major damage, as he was already somewhat damaged from the previous attacks.

The cloud of dust disappeared, and revealed that Trumbeak was lying on the ground. He was defeated.

On the other hand, Aerodactyl wasn't doing so well himself. He was damaged, and tired, but at least he can still continue to battle.

"Trumbeak is unable to continue," the referee called! "The round goes to Aerodactyl."

Ash sighed, and returned his Pokémon.

On the other side of the battlefield, Lillie did the same. Her Aerodactyl can still battle, but he is tired, and she wants to give him some rest.

Lillie waited for Ash to send his next Pokémon, before she chooses her own.

Ash took out his third Poke Ball, and released his third Pokémon. "Come out, Luxio!"

His Luxio appeared on the battlefield, looking ready to prove himself in a real battle, against a strong opponent.

Lillie saw her next opponent, before she released her fourth Pokémon. "You are up, Mamoswine."

A Mamoswine appeared on the battlefield, and stood opposite of Luxio. The two Pokémon, who were usually friends, are now glaring at each other. Even though they are friends, now they are enemies, and they will do everything they can to defeat the other.

"BEGIN!" The referee started the fourth round.

"Start with Take Down." Ash said to his Luxio. He knew that it was a risky attack, as Luxio is much smaller, but he's powerful, and can make it work.

Luxio started to run toward Mamoswine, before he was suddenly surrounded with red aura. Then, he slammed into a much larger Pokémon, and sent him sliding backwards.

Lillie was surprised by Luxio's physical powers. She hasn't seen this so far.

"If you are surprised by the power of the attack, it's due to Luxio's ability, called Rivalry," Ash said to Lillie. "It raises attack of the Pokémon, if the foe is of the same gender, but lowers it if it's not. As they are both males that means that Luxio's attack power is higher than normal."

Lillie nodded. She has missed this ability of Luxio's, even though she has known him ever since Ash caught him. She does know about the other ability, though, thus she knows that this won't be an easy battle, even with most of Luxio's attacks, being useless against her part Ground Type Pokémon.

"Use Earthquake." Lillie said. She knows that this will be effective against Luxio.

Mamoswine rose his front legs up, and then slammed them down on the ground, causing a shockwave which shock the whole battlefield.

Luxio was hit by the shockwave, and was thrown backwards due to it and from the ground shaking.

"Now use, Earth Power." Lillie said.

Mamoswine's eyes glowed orange, before the ground under Luxio exploded with orange energy, and sent Luxio fly into the air.

"Use, Fire Fang." Ash said to Luxio, who reacted quickly, and flipped in the air. His fangs, and the inside of his mouth became enveloped with fire, before he crashed into Mamoswine from above, and bit him over the face,

This caused an explosion to envelop Mamoswine, while Luxio jumped backwards, and landed on the ground.

Mamoswine cried out due to being burned, which is very effective against a part Ice type, like him.

The fire disappeared quickly, though, and Mamoswine was still standing. One move like that, won't take him out, but he was still damaged.

"Use Ancient Power." Lillie said. Mamoswine created a silver ball of energy in front of his tusks, and then fired it at Luxio.

Luxio dodged it easily, before he run toward Mamoswine, and used Fire Fang, once again.

Once again, Luxio bit on Mamoswine, and dealt him even more damage.

"Take Down." Lillie called, as her Mamoswine started to run toward Luxio.

Luxio also used Take Down, as the two Pokémon run at each other, and slammed full force at one another.

Neither was pushed back from the clash. Mamoswine is larger, and normally stronger, but Luxio's ability gives him more power, which is why he was able to match Mamoswine's physical strength.

Eventually, the two Pokémon jumped backwards, away from each other. They stood there, and looked at each other, waiting to hear their trainers calling their next attacks.

It was Lillie who spoke first. "Use, Fissure." She said.

Mamoswine lifted his front legs, and then brought them back to the ground, cracking the ground, and causing a wave of energy to travel through the crack, and toward Luxio.

"Protect." Ash said, with a smirk.

Luxio created a greenish orb of energy around himself, which was then slammed into by a wave of energy sent by Mamoswine. The orb was under a lot of pressure, due to the power of Mamoswine's attack, but it held strong, and eventually Mamoswine's attack dissipated while the barrier held strong.

Ash looked at the surprised Lillie, with a smirk on his face. "And that's how you deal with a one-hit knockout moves." He said to her.

At that moment, Lillie realized that Fissure won't be as useful as she thought it would.

"Ancient Power." Lillie continued the battle. Mamoswine created a silver ball of energy in front of his tusks, and then fired it at Luxio.

Luxio dodged, and used Fire Fang, as he leaped towered Mamoswine.

Lillie won't fall for that again, so she told Mamoswine to use Ice Beam on Luxio.

Mamoswine created a white ball of energy in front of his tusks, before he fired several white beams from the orb, and toward Luxio, who was right in front of Mamoswine.

The Ice Beam hit Luxio right in the face. Instead of freezing him, though, it clashed with the Fire Fang and only sent Luxio backwards. The two attacks simply neutralized each other, and none of the two Pokémon, were damaged.

"Luxio, return," Ash returned his electric type, much to Lillie's surprise. Then, he took another Poke Ball, and sent his fourth Pokémon. "Come out, Lycanroc."

Everyone on the stadium was shocked at the sight of Lycanroc. None has ever before seen a Pokémon like that, and practically none of them even knew what it is.

Ash actually had to inform everyone, including the announcer, of what Lycanroc is, as even the announcer didn't know about it.

Lillie stayed with her Mamoswine, as she figured she will have an advantage against a Rock Type, with her part Ground Type Pokémon.

"Use Ancient Power." Lillie said.

"Sucker Punch." Ash said, as his Lycanroc disappeared, and suddenly slammed into Mamoswine, before Mamoswine could even use his Rock Type move.

Mamoswine shock his head from the hit, before Lillie told him to use Ice Beam. Mamoswine fired his attack, but Lycanroc used Accelerock, and slammed into Mamoswine, once again, and at higher speed then earlier.

Mamoswine staggered back from the hit. This one has really hurt.

"Use Rock Throw." Ash spoke.

"Counter with Ice Beam." Lillie said.

The two attacks canceled each other out, so neither was injured.

"Use, Fissure." Lillie decided to try once again, with her Mamoswine's signature move.

Mamoswine slammed his front legs on the ground, and sent a beam of energy though a trench.

"Stone Edge." Ash said. Lycanroc rose, and then slammed his own front legs onto the ground, which caused large rocks coated in blue color, to rise from the ground, and toward the beam sent by Mamoswine.

The two attacks clashed, and caused a large explosion on the middle of the battlefield. The collision caused both attack to practically neutralize each other, which means that Ash has, once again, stopped the Fissure.

"Accelerock." Ash said, as his Lycanroc disappeared, and once again, slammed into Mamoswine. "Now, Stone Edge."

Large rocks sprung from the ground, and hit Mamoswine on the head, from below, and sent him backwards.

Mamoswine fell on the ground, and stayed lying there.

"Mamoswine is unable to continue," the referee called! "The match goes to Lycanroc!"

"Thanks' for the great battle, Mamoswine," Lillie said to her defeated Pokémon, as she returned him to his Poke Ball. Then, she sighed. She has lost a valuable Pokémon, which could defeat an opponent with a single move. Then again, that was against opponents who were caught off guard, and aren't good enough to defend against it. Ash knows about it. He knows about her battle style, and knows what to expect. As such, Mamoswine isn't as valuable as it would be against other opponents.

She took another Poke Ball, and released her Aerodactyl back to the battlefield.

"Lycanroc, return," Ash said to his Rock Type, as he retorted him to his Poke Ball. He wants to save him for later. Now, though. He will go with, "To the battlefield, Luxio."

Ash started the round by having his Luxio use Thunder. The attack came from above, and hit Aerodactyl, casing him pain, as it shock his entire body.

Aerodactyl held strong, though, and broke the Thunder. Then, he fired Meteor Beam.

Luxio used Protect, and stopped the Rock Type attack, but then as soon as he let the barrier down, Aerodactyl flew from above, and hit Luxio with Steel Wing, sending him flying out of the battlefield.

Luxio stood up rather quickly, though. He was glowing red, and was shouting in anger. This was due to his ability, Rivalry, but also due to his other ability, Guts. The more he's suffering, the more his attack power rises.

This is the ability Lillie knew about, which is why she knew that defeating Luxio won't be easy, even if her Aerodactyl might be more powerful.

Luxio attacked with Charge Beam, but Aerodactyl dodged easily. He was too fast to be caught by something like this.

Luxio then charged at Aerodactyl, while enveloped in electricity. He then jumped high in the air, almost surprising Aerodactyl, but the large rock type still had time to react on time, and use Iron Tail, just as Lillie told him.

The Iron Tail clashed with Wild Charge, and caused an explosion high in the air above the battlefield. Luxio was thrown backwards to the ground, while Aerodactyl was only pushed back a little.

"Thunder." Ash called immediately, and as soon as Luxio touched the ground, he fired another Thunder, and again struck Aerodactyl, causing him more pain and damage.

"Use Steel Wing." Lillie said. Aerodactyl flew toward Luxio, his wings glowing. He flew down fast toward Ash's Pokémon, and knew that he was risking slamming into a barrier, but he has to do it some way.

Instead of defending with Protect, Ash told Luxio to use Discharge.

Luxio fired a wave of electricity, which struck Aerodactyl, and causing him pain. He didn't slow down, though. Aerodactyl continue to fly straight at Luxio, even with electricity surrounding him, causing him pain and damage.

Then, Aerodactyl slammed into Luxio with his wing, and sent him flying out of the battlefield.

Aerodactyl flew back to the ground, and stood on it, instead of flying over the battlefield. He was injured, and tired, which is why he's conserving energy by standing on the ground instead of flying in the air.

Luxio stood back up, and returned to the battlefield. He was not that tired, but the attacks he was hit by have done a lot of damage, so he's on his last leg, even with his abilities.

"Aerodactyl, use Giga Impact." Lillie said. This was her Aerodactyl's strongest attack, and if it hits she is sure that Luxio will be taken out.

For a moment, Ash thought to go to a head-on collision, but then he realized that Luxio is weaker than Aerodactyl. At least physically. So, he decided on a different approach. "Use, Protect." He said.

Luxio surrounded himself with green barrier, and then focused power into it. He knew that the barrier is strong, and can stop very strong attacks, and Pokémon; but Lillie's Aerodactyl is stronger than him, and with Giga Impact he might break the barrier.

And then, Aerodactyl crashed into the barrier. The clash caused shockwave, which spread across the battlefield.

Much to everyone's surprise, Aerodactyl was still pushing, while being surrounded with purple and orange energy.

Luxio was still behind the barrier, pushing power into it, so it won't break. He was surprised that Aerodactyl didn't fall down when he crashed into the barrier, but that only proves that Aerodactyl is very strong, and durable.

Aerodactyl kept pushing at the barrier for a few moments, while Luxio kept pushing more power into the barrier.

Suddenly, the pushing of the two opposite forces at each other, caused a massive explosion which enveloped both Pokemon.

Everyone waited to see what happened, as both Pokémon were covered by smoke.

Ash, and Lillie, also looked at the cloud of smoke, waiting to see the results, though Ash already knew due to his senses. He just needs to wait to see it, so that the referee can see it, and call the round.

Soon, the smoke cleared out showing Aerodactyl, and Luxio lying on the ground. They were both unconscious.

"Aerodactyl, and Luxio are both unable to battle," the referee called out! "The round is a draw!"

Ash, and Lillie returned their unconscious Pokémon, before they both took two other Poke Balls.

With the loss of Aerodactyl, and Luxio, Lillie was left with two, while Ash was left with three Pokémon, one of which has already had a battle.

"Come out, Ninetales/Lycanroc!" Lillie, and Ash released their next Pokémon.

The two Pokémon appeared on the battlefield, ready to battle. They knew each other since they were small Vulpix, and Rockruff, so they knew what each other can do, and what they can't do. The same goes for their trainers, who have been around each other for a while, and know everything about their current opponents.

As usual, the moment Ninetales appeared on the battlefield, her ability, Snow Warning activated, and started a hailstorm. With the Snow Warning activated, Ninetales's second ability activated as well. It was a Snow Cloak, and it covered her in a small fog, which will make it hard for Lycanroc to hit her.

As a Rock Type, Lycanroc wasn't bothered by the hailstorm, and just stood there, ready for the battle to start.

Soon enough, the battle did start, with Lillie telling her Ninetales to use Aurora Veil. This will shield her from all the attacks Lycanroc can attack her with, for the next five turns.

Ash smiled as he saw this. He knew that Lillie will use this move. He knew about it for a long time, and as such, he decided to teach some of his Pokémon some moves, which can break through it. Usually, he goes with Brick Break, which can shatter the barriers like, Aurora Veil, but in this case, his Lycanroc can't use Brick Break. He didn't teach it to him. What he did teach him, is something else. Something which is more useful then another move which Lycanroc already knew.

"Lycanroc, use Psychic Fangs." Ash said to his Pokémon.

Lycanroc opens his mouth and created a white aura shaped like a set of teeth, which bit down at Ninetales.

The bite broke through the protection set by Ninetales, and was about to hit her. Luckily, Ninetales was quite fast during a hailstorm, so she dodged the attack.

She was surprised by Lycanroc' move, though. She hasn't seen him use it before. The same goes for Lillie. She has just realized that Ash has come up with some ways to battle against her, during the month of training before the Sinnoh League started. By that point, they knew almost everything about each other, and their Pokémon, so Ash has used that knowledge, and came up with new ways to battle against Lillie.

Lillie felt embarrassed that she didn't do the same thing.

"Dazzling Gleam." Lillie said. Ninetales's body became surrounded in rainbow-colored energy, which then expended toward Lycanroc, and hit him.

Lycanroc was pushed back by Ninetales's attack, but held strong. "Accelerock." Ash said. Lycanroc disappeared, and appeared slamming into Ninetales, while surrounded in white aura.

"Ice Beam." Lillie said.

"Sucker Punch." Ash said right away, as his Lycanroc slammed into Ninetales, before she could even fire the ice beam.

"Disable." Lillie said.

Ninetales's eyes glowed red, before Lycanroc was surrounded with red aura, and then lifted in the air.

"Now use, Moonblast." Lillie said. Ninetales fired a pink beam of energy at Lycanroc, who couldn't move due to being disabled mid-air.

The Moonblast hit Lycanroc, and caused an explosion, which threw Lycanroc backwards.

"Use Take Down." Lillie attacked once again. She wanted to use the chance that Lycanroc was stunned from the Moonblast, and deal him more damage.

Ninetales run toward Lycanroc, who was just able to get back up. Then, just as he was about to be slammed into, Ash told Lycanroc to use Counter.

Ninetales slammed into Lycanroc, but then the stone on the top of Lycanroc' head glowed orange with a light green outline. Then, he hit Ninetales with it, sending her backwards, and dealing her damage.

Ninetales quickly jumped back to her feet, and looked like she wasn't hurt at all. "Use, Moonblast." Lillie said.

Ninetales fired her attack, but Lycanroc dodged, and then used Rock Throw.

This time Ninetales dodged, and then used Ice Beam. Lycanroc countered with Stone Edge, which stopped the Ice Beam, but shattered the rocks. In the end, neither was injured.

"Take Down." Lillie tried a close approach, but it failed, as Lycanroc used Sucker Punch, and hit her before she can him.

Luckily for her, and Lillie; Ninetales recovered right away, and acted by using Dazzling Gleam, and hit Lycanroc with it. Then, she followed Dazzling Gleam, with Moonblast, which also hit Lycanroc, damaging him even more.

"Use, Accelerock." Ash said. Lycanroc got up, after being hit by Dazzling Gleam, and Moonblast, before he disappeared, and reappeared in front of Ninetales. He slammed into her, sending her backwards.

"Stone Edge." Ash said.

"Moonblast." Lillie countered, which led to both attacks being neutralized.

"Rock Throw." Ash said, as Lycanroc' tail glowed, before he fired a bunch of rocks at Ninetales.

"Dodge, and use Aurora Veil." Lillie said.

Ninetales jumped away from the rocks, showing her speed, though the majority of the rocks weren't even going at her. The Show Cloak ability is giving her some degree of protection.

Once the barrage of rocks ended, Ninetales gave a cry, and formed a rainbow-colored barrier around herself. The barrier became invisible after it was formed, but it was still there to protect Ninetales.

Ash wondered what the point of the Aurora Veil is, when Lycanroc can break it. He decided to just go and see, instead of thinking about it. "Use Psychic Fangs."

Lycanroc opens his mouth and created a white aura shaped like a set of teeth, which bit down at Ninetales.

This attack broke the Aurora Veil, but it didn't reach the Ninetales, as she wasn't where she used to be. Ninetales moved fast, and as soon as she saw Lycanroc' barrier-breaker coming toward her, she moved. She went closer to Lycanroc, and before he, or Ash could react, she slammed into him with Take Down.

Lycanroc was pushed back from the blow, before he was suddenly hit by a Moonblast.

The Fairy Type attack hit Lycanroc, and caused an explosion to envelop him.

Everyone waited for the smoke to clear, so they can see what happened.

They didn't have to wait that long, though. Before the smoke even cleared out, Ash spoke. "Use Drill Run." He said.

Suddenly, from inside the smoke cloud, Lycanroc shot out, while spinning really fast, just like a drill.

He slammed into Ninetales, causing her to cry out in pain, as she was sent flying backwards.

Ninetales managed to stand on her legs, before she fell down. Immediately, Lillie told her to use, Extrasensory.

Ninetales's eyes glowed dark blue, as she opened her mouth. She released a multicolored circular beam of energy with white rings of energy around it at Lycanroc. The beam surrounded Lycanroc, which allowed Ninetales to lift him into the air.

Ninetales slammed Lycanroc back to the ground, before she lifted him back up. "Throw him up into the air, then use Moonblast." Lillie said.

Ninetales launched Lycanroc far into the air, and then she fired another Moonblast toward the falling Rock Type.

The pink beam of energy hit Lycanroc, and caused an explosion mid-air. Lycanroc fell down to the battlefield, and stayed lying down.

He was still moving, though. He wasn't defeated, but he's tired, and injured.

Lycanroc got up, as Ash asked him if he can continue.

He was tired, and injured, yes; but he won't give up. As such, he nodded at Ash.

"Use Stone Edge." Ash said. Lycanroc rose his front legs, and slammed them back down, making large stones to appear in a straight line toward Ninetales.

Ninetales used Dazzling Gleam, to break the stones, before they can reach her, but then, Lycanroc used Accelerock, and hit Ninetales. He used it again, and again. Each time, he slammed into Ninetales, full speed.

After the third hit, Lycanroc stopped attacking, and stood in front of Ash. He was panting from tiredness, but his opponent is in the same situation.

Ninetales was just as tired as Lycanroc, and about as injured as he is. The two of them are at their last leg, and can't go on for much longer. Either they take out one another, or Lillie, and Ash replace them, and send other Pokémon.

Neither of the two Pokémon saw that happening. Not this late in the game, when Lycanroc, and Ninetales are this tired. They won't be able to do much, even if they are returned to their Poke Balls, and then sent back to battle few minutes later.

"Lycanroc, use Drill Run." Ash said to his Pokémon. He will attack, and see what happens.

"Ninetales, counter with Moonblast." Lillie said.

Lycanroc started to spin like a drill, and shot like a bullet toward Ninetales.

Ninetales fired a pink beam of energy, with all of her remaining straight.

Lycanroc, and Moonblast collided, and caused a large explosion, which sent Lycanroc, and Ninetales out of the battlefield, until they crashed into the walls of the stadium.

The referee looked at the two Pokémon, and called the round a draw.

Ash, and Lillie returned their unconscious Pokémon, and thanked them for a great battle. Then, they took two other Poke Balls, those containing Ash's fifth, and Lillie's sixth, and final Pokémon.

"Come out, Pidgeot/Torracat." Lillie, and Ash released their Pokémon.

"BEGIN!" The referee started the match, as soon as both Pokémon were on the battlefield.

"Start by using Swift." Lillie started the round, as Pidgeot shot a storm of yellow starts down up Torracat.

"Protect." Ash said. Torracat created a barrier, which defended him from the Swift.

"Now use, Flamethrower." Ash said.

Torracat fired a powerful stream of fire, at Pidgeot, but Lillie's strongest Pokemon easily dodged it using Agility.

Pidgeot disappeared from where she was in the air, and reappeared behind Torracat. Then, she slammed into him, sending him flying.

Torracat jumped to his legs, though, and didn't fall down. "Use Revenge." Ash said. Torracat jumped into the air, and swung his right paw, which was enveloped in flames. He punched toward Pidgeot, but she easily dodge it. Then, she used Aerial Ace, and struck Torracat, as soon as he came back down to the ground.

In this battle, Torracat is outclassed. Ash know that. Torracat knows that. Even Lillie, and Pidgeot know that. But what they all know as well, is that Torracat won't give up that easily, and will give it his all in order to make Pidgeot work hard to defeat him.

Tiring Pidgeot out, even if by a little, will help Ash's final Pokémon, to maybe defeat her. That was the reason why Ash sent Torracat to battle against Pidgeot, instead of going immediately with the strongest Pokémon he brought for today's battle.

"Use Fire Blast." Ash said. Torracat jumped into the air, made a ball of flames, and then hit it with his front paw, which then turned into a Fire Blast, and went toward Pidgeot.

"Use Air Slash." Lillie said. Pidgeot slashed her wings, and sent many crescent shaped blades toward the Fire Blast. The two attacks hit each other, and caused an explosion mid-air. This canceled out both attacks, so neither Pokémon was damaged.

Surprisingly, Torracat jumped high in the air, and right through the smoke cloud. Then he used Revenge.

Pidgeot started to fall toward the ground, but managed to stop herself, before she could crash.

"Use, Hurricane." Lillie said.

Pidgeot flapped her wings, and caused a large tornado to form around the battlefield, and trap Torracat inside of it.

"Break it with Fire Blast." Ash said.

Torracat created a flaming orb, and then punched it. The Fire Blast hit the tornado, but much to Torracat' surprise, it didn't break it. The fire simply merged with the tornado, and created a firestorm, with Torracat in the middle of it.

"Pidgeot, use Hyper Beam." Lillie said.

Pidgeot flew above the eye of a tornado, far above it, and then fired the Hyper Beam straight down.

"Use Flare Blitz to counter it." Ash said to Torracat, when he saw what's going on.

Torracat enveloped himself in the flames, before he shot straight up toward the Hyper Beam. As he was going up, the flames turned from red and orange, to blue, as they increased in heat and power.

Then, Hyper Beam, and Torracat clashed with each other in the middle of the firestorm.

For a few moments, the two pushed at each other, but then the collision caused a huge explosion, which completely destroyed the firestorm, and covered the whole battlefield in smoke, and fire.

It took almost a minute for the battlefield to become visible again, only for Torracat to be seen lying on the ground, defeated.

Pidgeot was seen standing in front of Lillie. She seems burned, and tired, but she was still conscious, thus; can continue the match.

Torracat is unable to continue," the referee called! "The round goes to Pidgeot!"

Ash sighed. He knew this will happen. Torracat is strong, but not strong enough to defeat Lillie's Pidgeot. As such, he was expecting Torracat to lose.

But, he also expected him to be able to put-up a good fight against Pidgeot, and tire her out. Thus, his next Pokémon should have an easier time.

Ash returned his defeated Torracat, before he sent out his last Pokémon. "Come out, Silvally." Ash said.

A strange looking Pokémon, resembling a Chimera, appeared on Ash's side of the battlefield. Its appearance shocked everyone, as none has seen a Pokémon like that before. No one outside of Alola has ever seen a Pokémon like that. Thus, no one knew what it is.

Once again, Ash had to tell the name of the Pokémon, as well as its type. Beyond that, he said nothing.

Thinking of Silvally, Ash remembered how he got it.

Flashback:

It was as he was leaving Alola, after he spent a full year there. He was on the airport, with his students, and friends there to see him off.

One of those who were there, was Gladion. With him were Lusamine, Lillie, Faba, as well as many others.

"Ash, we want to give you something." Lusamine spoke, as she held a Poke Ball in her hand, and held it for Ash to take it.

"What's this?" Ash said. He was dressed in white pants, with white long-sleeved shirt, though the sleeves were rolled up above his elbows. On his feet, he was wearing white sandals. At this point, he still had long hair, which is tied behind his head.

"This is a present for you," Lusamine said. "I had Faba create it not that long ago, as I planned to give it to you as a present for everything that you've done for all of us. You taught in the school. You protected Alola from the Ultra Beasts, and even battled against Necrozma to save Alola. As such, we believe that you at least deserve this."

Ash looked at the Poke Ball. He had a feeling he knew what's inside, especially since Lusamine said that Faba has made it. He didn't know how he felt about that. Humans simply shouldn't be making Pokémon. Now, after Team Rocket made Mewtwo, Faba ended up making Type; Null. Two of them, it would seem.

"What I got from the battles against Ultra Beasts, and especially Necrozma, is more than enough for me," he said to Lusamine and everyone there. "There was no need for you to make another Type: Null."

Lusamine smiled. "Should have known you will figure it out," she commented. "Still. This is a present from all of us. You should take it."

Ash looked at Lusamine, and the others. They all had expectant looks on their faces. Not to mention, they are all smiling. They wanted him to take the Pokémon they are giving to him.

Ash sighed, and took the Poke Ball from Lusamine's hand.

And that's how Ash ended up with a Type: Null.

He has actually brought it with him when he came to Sinnoh. At that point, it was still Type: Null, but since then, Ash has trained it, and they have developed a bond which has let to Type: Null shattering the control mask it was wearing, and full evolving into a Type: Full; or as Gladion calls his own, Silvally.

Ash decided to go with Silvally, as well. It sounds better then Type: Null, or Type: Full.

So far, Silvally didn't have any major battles. He has only trained with Ash, and with Ash's Pokémon, back at Oak's Ranch, as well as Kukui's house when it was there along with Ash's other Alolan Pokémon.

As such, this will be a perfect chance to see what Silvally can do.

At that moment, the referee started the final round. The winner of this round, will be the winner of the match, and the winner of the Sinnoh League.

"Start with, Air Slash." Ash started the final round.

Silvally forms a light-blue ball of energy in front of its head. It then fires multiple light-blue blades of energy from the ball, straight toward Pidgeot, who was flying in the air.

Pidgeot used Agility to dodge the attack, before she slammed into Silvally from behind, and sent him to the ground.

Silvally got up quickly, though, and Ash told it to use Crush Claw.

Silvally reacted quickly, and jumped right at Pidgeot, with its claws glowing red. Then, it smashed them down at Pidgeot, who didn't evade this time and was struck down to the ground.

"Use Steel Wing." Lillie said, as soon as Pidgeot stood back up. Pidgeot's wings glowed, and hardened, before she flew toward Silvally. She struck him hard, and dealt him more damage.

But, Silvally is quite strong, and durable. He didn't fall down from the strike. Instead, he immediately used Air Slash, and hit Pidgeot with it.

Then, he followed with Crush Claw, and struck her again.

Pidgeot fell to the ground but once again, she got up quickly.

Ash pulled out a disk, from his back pocket, and said. "Silvally, take this Electric Memory, to help you in your battle." He said, as he threw the disk.

A disk drive on the left side of Silvally' head, opened up, allowing the disk to enter. Once it did, its eyes, spikes, drives, and fin membrane all change color to yellow, to match the type of power.

"Now use, Multi-Attack." Ash said.

"Counter with Giga Impact." Lillie said.

Silvally's body become covered in an yellow-colored aura, before he run, and then jumped toward Pidgeot; who was coming down toward him, covered in purple energy with orange spirals around it.

The two Pokémon hit each other, causing a huge explosion above the battlefield, which ended with both Pokémon being sent backwards.

Both Pokémon fell on the battlefield, and rolled for a few meters, before they stopped. They both struggled to stand back up. They were tired, especially Pidgeot, but they won't give up. They CAN"T give up, as that would mean the loss of the match for their trainer.

As such, they will have to continue, until one of them falls.

"Agility." Lillie said. Pidgeot disappeared, and reappeared right in front of Silvally. "Steel Wing." Lillie added, as Pidgeot's right wing glowed, and she struck Silvally with it.

Silvally was brought to the ground, but not defeated. He jumped back up, and used Crush Claw. He smashed Pidgeot, and brought her to the ground.

"Multi-Attack." Ash said. Silvally run toward Pidgeot, coated with yellow energy of the Electric Memory, before she slammed into Pidgeot, dealing her a lot of damage, not just from the physical hit but also due to Silvally's current type being electric, which is Pidgeot's major weakness.

Somehow, Pidgeot wasn't defeated. She got back up into the air, and Lillie told her to use Swift.

The yellow stars rained down like a wrath of god, and bombed Silvally, who couldn't evade them all. He couldn't even block them. As such, he received quite a bit of damage.

To make matters worse for Silvally, Pidgeot used Sky Attack, and slammed into it, before it recovered from the Swift.

Still, Silvally wasn't defeated. It was a miracle that Silvally, and Pidgeot are still capable of fighting after all the damage they took, but they are still going at it, and won't give up.

Lillie saw the state of her, and Ash's Pokémon, so she decided to end this with a Z-Move.

"Let's end this, Pidgeot." Lillie said to her Pokémon, while showing her the Z-Crystal. The Flyinium Z.

Pidgeot knew Lillie's plan, so she turned back toward Silvally, and she started to perform synchronized poses with her trainer.

Seeing that Lillie and Pidgeot are about to perform a Z-Move; Ash decided to do the same with his Silvally.

At the same time as Lillie, and Pidgeot built up the power for their Z-Move; Ash, and Silvally, did the same.

Soon, Pidgeot was in the sky, and she was enveloped in a light blue aura.

Down on the ground, Silvally was enveloped in the golden aura.

Then, Ash, and Lillie shouted their attacks at the same time.

"Pidgeot, use Supersonic Skystrike!" Lillie shouted.

"Silvally, use Breakneck Blitz!" Ash shouted.

Pidgeot flew down toward Silvally, while Silvally run straight forward at breakneck speed, before he jumped up.

Pidgeot from above, and Silvally from bellow, crashed into each other, full speed and power behind them. The clash caused the strongest explosion so far, and a shockwave, which broke the battlefield, and even cracked the stadium on several places. The crowd had to hold themselves to their seats, and to turn their heads to the side, as well as close their eyes, as the shockwaves, and wind caused by the explosion, was too strong.

And then, both Pidgeot, and Silvally, fell on the battlefield.

It took a while for the battlefield to become visible… that shit actually happened a lot in this tournament. But anyway, when the battlefield became visible, Pidgeot was lying on the ground. She was unconscious.

As for Silvally, he was also on the ground, but he was conscious, and trying to stand up.

Seeing that Pidgeot is unconscious, the referee called the match. "Pidgeot is unable to battle! The winner is Silvally, and the match goes to, Ash Ketchum!"

And the stadium exploded with the cheers of the crowd.
