However, Harry doesn't want to be pulled from his family nor his work every time that a dragon is harassing people or settlements. He's got too much to experiment with and test to be bothered like that. So, he'll have to fix the issue as much as he can ahead of time! But now that the world is just as Magical (if not a bit more) than it was so long ago, what does it look like?

Chapter 82 – A World of Magic and Monsters
A massive leopard-like creature tore into the adult giraffe it had killed in northern Kenya. The massive feline was one of the most dangerous creatures alive, a Nundu. It was colored similarly to a leopard, golden-yellow fur with black spots, but when it felt threatened, or if it was trying to intimidate another creature, its throat could swell up, revealing sharp spikes and making the leopard-like cat look more similar to a lion.
Like many Magical Creatures around the world, the Nundu population had greatly benefitted from the return of the magical strength of the world. The great, deadly beasts were being seen more in their native ranges of East Africa. However, due to their lethal, disease-filled breath they posed a great risk to pretty much every living thing around them, aside from other Nundu. They'd most certainly earned their XXXXX Classification from every Ministry of Magic in the world…especially given that a full-grown Nundu was basically immune to spells, unless cast by close to one-hundred Wizards at once.
"Raaawwwrrr!" A smaller Nundu trotted over to the kill and began to tear off a chunk of meat for itself.
"Rrrmmm." The larger Nundu rumbled, seemingly showing the smaller cub how to hunt and eat prey.
The mother and cub Nundu continued to strip the giraffe carcass of meat until the sound of something approaching caught the mother's attention.
"GRRRRR!" The mother Nundu's neck expanded to reveal the spikes normally hidden by her fur. The intimidation display made the approaching hyena pack stop in their tracks. The scavengers had been hoping for a piece of the kill, but were now in danger of being killed by the Nundu's disease-ridden breath.
With the cackling cries that their species was known for, the hyenas all retreated quickly to a safe distance to watch the kill. The mother and cub Nundu returned to their meal for a few more minutes before having their fill. The mother nudged her cub towards the tall brush and grass and with steps that made no noise, despite the huge size of the Nundu, both magical cats were gone without a trace only a few moments later.
The hyena pack quickly began sniffing around the carcass of the giraffe. Once the area was deemed safe, the scavengers set about stripping the remaining meat from the bones. The carcass would be barely anything by the time they were done, only leaving a few remnants for the vultures to pick at.
Almost a kilometer away, a small group of Witches and Wizards pulled their Omnioculars from their eyes and quickly made a few notes on their floating rolls of parchment. They'd been tracking the whereabouts and ranges of the expanded Nundu population for almost a month in order to establish just which areas were in danger of being within the XXXXX class creatures' range.
"If the mother and cub venture too much further south, we'll need to evacuate the village there." One of the Witches said as her floating parchment rolled itself back up into a scroll.
"That'll be the fourteenth village we have to evacuate, if so." An older Wizard said with a grim sigh. The return of potent Magic to the natural world had been tumultuous and costly to many…but the changed world was rich and alive like it hadn't been in many centuries. That was both good and bad, as the Witches and Wizards of Africa had quickly learned. With Nundu populations on the rise, more and more areas were being labelled as 'no go' zones for people's safety.
One of the other Wizards spoke up after putting his parchment into the pocket of his robes. "At least we're not part of the Erumpent team."
Keeping the large rhinoceros-like creatures from making use of their explosive horn fluid was difficult when an Erumpent felt threatened. And more than a few poachers, both Magical and Non-Magical, had been coming after the creatures ever since the rampant Magic of the world had settled down. As the Erumpent produced many Class B Tradeable Materials for potion making and the like, it was understandable that poachers would illegally go after the creatures for the large sums of money that they could make.
"Africa has never been the safest land. But now that the world is like this, keeping people safe has become a top priority." Another Witch sighed at the workload their group was under. "We need to find a way to keep these villages safe…or move everyone closer together."
"That's not likely to happen." The older Wizard shook his head. "You know how people are."
-Giza, Egypt-
A large Sphinx narrowed its eyes at Zosimos as he approached a temple that had been built by the ones that helped facilitate the 'Great Change' as it had come to be called by many. The powerful Sphinx stepped into Zosimos's path when the ancient Alchemist didn't stop his approach. "Stay your approach, ancient one."
Zosimos knew the threat of the Sphinx as he saw the human-headed feline tense its muscles and its front claws extended. "Young Sphinx, have you been given the role of guardian of this new temple?" He asked politely to the intelligent creature.
"I, among others, now guard this place." The Sphinx answered as the claws retracted now that Zosimos had stopped approaching.
"May I ask how to see the one in charge of this place?" Zosimos requested in the same polite tone.
The Sphinx flicked its tail side-to-side once. "Answer my riddle and I shall let you pass unharmed. Though the ones within may not be of the same mind."
Zosimos nodded, knowing that the one he had come to see would definitely speak with him. "Please speak your riddle."
"I have many faces, though only show them in turn. Look upon me at night, it will be the day I tell. If you cannot see me, I am still there. What am I?" The Sphinx questioned Zosimos.
The ancient alchemist thought for only a short time before a small smile crossed his lips. "The moon." Zosimos answered as he thought about the many phases, and therefore faces, of the moon, how it told the day by the lunar calendar, and how even in the dark night of a new moon, the moon was still there.
The Sphinx padded off to the side of the path and sat down on its haunches. "You may pass, ancient one."
Zosimos nodded to the Sphinx and approached the temple. He didn't even have to touch the large doors, the metal and wood swung open on its own, welcoming him inside.
"This way, please." A woman in a loose white robe gave Zosimos a small bow.
The two walked down the wide corridor together, Zosimos walking just a few steps behind the woman. He looked over the hieroglyphs on the walls, feeling the magic within them. He couldn't decipher every spell, but the most obvious ones were to make the temple practically indestructible to both mundane and magical forces. The woman stopped in front of a pair of wooden doors and knocked once before whispering to them. The human figures on the doors moved a moment after the woman whispered to them, uncrossing their spears and standing aside. The doors then opened at the lightest touch from the woman.
"Thank you." Zosimos thanked the woman as she stood to the side and beckoned him to enter.
The room beyond the doors was lined with shelves of scrolls: both parchment and papyrus, and dozens and dozens of various books. Hanging down from the ceiling were thin cloths in white, gold, and red colors, acting as curtains. It was quite the sight to see multiple golden instruments, a few of which Zosimos couldn't quite identify, on the shelves here and there. Many of them were still, but a few moved this way and that, or gave off light puffs of white smoke occasionally.
"It has been a long time, old friend." An elderly voice said from behind a large wooden desk that was inlaid with bits of gold and carved stone on the front to make more hieroglyphs.
The man sitting at the desk looked well into his seventies (but could easily be around one-hundred-fifty, or older, given how Wizards and Witches aged), and he wore white linen clothes beneath a fine blue robe that was covered in thin lines of silver thread that looked to be actual silver woven into the robe.
Zosimos greeted the Wizard with a short bow. "Indeed, it has, old friend." He straightened up and lightly gestured to the room around them. "You've been very busy."
"As have you." The Wizard said with a little laugh as he looked at Zosimos. "Many of the small villages throughout Egypt are now walled and thriving farming oases."
"That they are." Zosimos confirmed his hand in the securing of his homeland's improved desert villages. "I've noticed quite a lot of change in Giza in the last few months. Am I correct in assuming that retaking the lands of Egypt were part of your group's plans from the start, Isesi?"
Isesi gave Zosimos a long look before speaking. "You are correct."
Zosimos thought about the changes he'd seen in Giza, how the more modern buildings were being removed with magic and more traditional buildings were being built with comforts that were imbued with spells. The ancient tombs and temples were being protected, and some new ones, like the one Zosimos was standing in, had been built in what most would call 'the blink of an eye'. "I can't imagine this has been taken well by the Non-Magical."
"Some speak out against it, others protest violently; all are pacified." Isesi waved off the objections as if they were a trifling matter.
"I never thought of you as a tyrant, old friend." Zosimos commented on Isesi's words.
Isesi laughed for a moment. "Tyrant? No, no. You know me better than that, old friend." He levitated gold and silver coins into the air from his desk and conjured a cooling breeze throughout his large office with a mere wave of his left hand. "All those who protest have their concerns addressed or are paid off to go along with our…reforms." They'd been remarkably non-violent in their 'takeover' of Giza.
Zosimos sat down when a chair was levitated over from the far wall by Isesi. "I am both gladdened to hear that, and yet saddened that a takeover has happened." He looked at his old friend closely. "Are you seeking to fully revert to the old ways of ancient Egypt?"
"We are merely…correcting the wrongs done to our lands, Zosimos." Isesi said with an even tone. "As we expand to other parts of Egypt, we hope that they will look to Giza's improvement and restoration as a sign of the good that we bring."
"I see." Zosimos wouldn't comment on the future plans if they remained peaceful. It didn't need to be said between the two old friends just what the ancient alchemist would do if Isesi and his group became violent or tyrannical.
Isesi let the silence last for a drawn out moment before giving Zosimos a smile. "But we aren't the only ones that've been busy. I hear a great many things from messengers and from the vast desert. Your creations have spread quite far and into many neighboring lands."
Zosimos nodded to Isesi. "Yes, I made as many preparations as I could to counter the destruction that I foresaw your…world cooperative…may cause with the 'Great Change'. Making sure that the people were fed and sheltered, giving them farmland with which to feed themselves into the future, and securing their safety…it was all necessary to protect our homeland." Hundreds of his homunculi had spread out into Libya, Sudan, Israel, Jordan, and even across the Mediterranean Sea, to the islands and the countries that bordered it, all to establish bountiful farmlands and give out food and housing to those displaced by the many upheavals and destruction caused by months of rampant magic.
"For that I thank you, Zosimos. We did not have the ability to do as you did." Isesi bowed his head to Zosimos. "Without your precautions we may have very well had war within Egypt, both from outside forces and from within."
"Others have stepped up to ensure a quality life for both the Magical and Non-Magical. Without their help, I fear things would've become far worse than any of your large group of conspirators could've possibly imagined." Zosimos said with certainty, even as he thought about a specific Artificer that had made headlines once more. 'Though I suppose everyone needs to address him as Master Artificer now.'
-Potter Manor-
"Achoo!" Harry sneezed once and shook his head. "Ugh… That came out of nowhere."
Penny looked up from the wooden post that she was carving with runes. "Are you getting sick, Harry?"
Harry cast a quick Diagnostic Charm on himself. "No, it doesn't seem like it." He went back to work, carving another rune into the wooden post that he was working on. "I don't have time to get sick right now, anyway."
"We're almost done with this first batch." Penny said while shooting Harry a smile. "Once we know for sure that they work, we can mass produce them."
"True." Harry nodded as he moved onto the next rune in the sequence. "Though these are just temporary. Permanent ones will need to be made from stone, most likely."
The two were working on a project together that Harry had thought up while dealing with the Hebridean Black dragon that had been harassing Lancashire. This first iteration was a large runic sequence carved into wooden posts that would be stuck into the ground around a set location. The sole purpose was to act as a Ward that kept several magical creatures away from the surrounded location. Harry had specifically made sure that dangerous creatures like dragons had been one of the first creatures kept away by the Ward in the runic sequence that he and Penny had come up with together.
Penny wiped her forehead with a handkerchief as she finished up with her post and levitated it over to the pile of completed posts. "I'm sure we'll get plenty of orders for these once we prove that they work."
"Ward Posts make it clear what they do as well." Harry grinned at Penny as he patted the wooden post that he was working on.
"Your naming for Enchanted Objects is much simpler than with Artifacts." Penny giggled at Harry as she levitated a new wooden post over to her work area.
Harry shrugged. "Enchanted Objects that're massed produced don't need fancy names." He finished up with his current Ward Post and levitated it over to the pile with the others. "It's not like a telephone pole needs a unique name." The next telephone pole-sized post was brought over to Harry with a wave of his hand.
"You both need a break." Tonks said as she walked over to the work area near the smithy. "Lunch is ready and Tayla will be sad if you don't eat what she made."
Harry was about to say that he'd been snacking between carving runes into the Ward Posts, but Tonks stopped him before he could.
"And dragon jerky doesn't count, Harry." Tonks rolled her eyes at Harry with a grin.
"You're still eating that stuff?" Penny wrinkled her nose now that she knew what Harry had been snacking on.
Harry nodded with a grin. "No reason to waste the Hebridean Black's meat." He'd gotten another massive boost to his overall mana level after consuming the Hebridean Black's heart, much like he'd done with the Hungarian Horntail years ago.
Tonks deadpanned at Harry. "You just wanted to cheat your mana level higher." She was hopeful that she'd be able to catch up in time, but then Harry had gone and conquered another freaking dragon! That just wasn't fair!
"I mean…that's a nice bonus." Harry chuckled at Tonks's clear irritation with him boosting his mana through a Rite of Conquest again. "The best news is that I can now wield Dourfrost freely." He gave Tonks and Penny a bright smile.
Penny and Tonks both stared at Harry flatly.
Harry looked away after a moment. "I thought that was a good thing…"
The three headed towards Potter Manor together to get washed up for lunch, knowing that Fleur would join them shortly as she'd taken to always having lunch at home.
-Hogwarts-
"All of the letters have been sent out as usual, Minerva?" Dumbledore asked with a small smile. The little twinkle in his eyes had returned after some time back in the castle and fulfilling his role as Headmaster.
"Yes, Albus." McGonagall nodded, though there was a curious look on her face that couldn't be hidden.
Dumbledore looked at McGonagall inquisitively. "Was something the matter, Minerva?"
McGonagall shook her head once. "No…nothing wrong. But…" She took a second to consider how she wanted to phrase her words. "The Book of Admittance had more new names written in it than I've ever seen before. I last looked at it last summer as I made sure that the eligible potential students got a letter of acceptance sent to them via owl. But this year…there were at least double the number of names than previous years, and I saw at least two more names being added within the time that I was checking the names for new First Years."
"Truly?" Dumbledore's expression stayed calm thanks to years of experience and his great handle on Occlumency.
So many new names would mean a much larger potential class roster for Hogwarts eleven years from now. Many former Headmasters and Headmistresses had sat in the small chamber where the Book of Admittance and Quill of Acceptance resided, just hoping to see the two ancient Artifacts of the Founders become active. For both of them to become active twice in the time that Minerva was checking the names of new students to send acceptance letters to was a hereto unheard of level of frequency.
"I would not lie about this, Albus." McGonagall said pointedly. "There have been a large number of magical births in the last few months."
"Far more than we've ever seen in our time as educators." Dumbledore said with a thoughtful look on his face. 'Could the return of magic to its previous levels of ages ago have increased the number of children born Magical?' It could, potentially, be the case…and Dumbledore was quite the well-studied Wizard, but he could only bring it up at the next ICW meeting in hopes of having some good news after an entire summer of chaos.
Neither Dumbledore nor McGonagall could have known that the other large schools of magic all around the world were starting to notice similar things in their own methods of finding out about Magical births.
-London ~ Three Days Later-
"I hope you're right about this, Mr. Potter." Mr. Barret said as he looked at the small dot on the horizon that was getting closer. As one of the upper level members of the government, he was being asked to oversee this new form of protection for the city.
The large contingent of armed soldiers and military weapons with them was a necessary security measure.
"If anything goes wrong, we'll stop it." Harry assured the government man with a confident smile.
"Let's hope that doesn't happen." Fleur said as she looked at Harry with amusement in her blue eyes.
Tonks was also looking at the black dot on the horizon as it got closer and closer to London. "But why did you decide to test your Ward Posts this way?" She pointed at the black spot that was coming into greater focus as it got closer. "A dragon is still a dragon, Harry."
"Worst case scenario, we slay it and I get more dragon materials." Harry answered with a grin.
"No… The worst case scenario is the Ward Posts fail to deter the dragon and it tries to breathe fire on London." Penny reminded Harry as she followed the approaching dragon with her eyes. "I'm confident in our work too, but this is still a little ridiculous."
The dragon flying towards London was another escapee from the Welsh Dragon Reserve. A Common Welsh Green, it was still a dragon, as Tonks had said, but one that was the least likely to cause major damage should anything go wrong.
"The Ministry requested that I handle it since the workers at the Draig Werrd Reserve don't have enough members to spare right now." Harry said with his right hand gently resting on the hilt of Dourfrost. "This way we deal with one dragon and answer two questions at the same time."
"You just want an excuse to use Dourfrost now that you can handle it." Fleur looked at the Cursed Artifact with displeased eyes. "The horrid thing has tried to kill you before."
Harry looked at Dourfrost on his hip and then at Fleur. "I got better…"
The looks he got from Fleur, Penny, and Tonks made it VERY apparent that he'd missed the point.
"Right." Harry coughed once and looked off to the side.
The Welsh Green flew closer to London. The soldiers all readied themselves to fire upon the great lizard. Harry gripped Dourfrost. Fleur conjured Veela fire in both of her hands. Penny had her foot on the ground, right on top of several lines of script that would make a Flame-Freezing Charm activate as a Ward around all of them. Tonks aimed her framed hands around the approaching dragon, ready to trap it in her Cube spell once it got close enough.
"RAAAWWWRRR!" The Welsh Green roared out as it flew towards the edge of the city.
But when it got just under a kilometer away, it suddenly banked to the right and circled back. The dragon flapped its wings twice to steady itself and maintain its altitude as it hovered in the air. The Welsh Green seemed perturbed by something as it spread its wings and flew along the edge of London for a ways until veering off again as it got to a different part of the city that was closer to it.
"It's working." Penny lit up with a smile.
"Merlin's beard." Tonks shook her head in amazement.
The Welsh Green was less thrilled about the Ward keeping it away. "RAAAWWWRRR!" It unleashed its flames against the unseen force, but it was so far away from anything that its flames dispersed in the air harmlessly.
Fleur's pretty smile spread across her face. "You two have outdone yourselves." She looked at Penny and Harry fondly.
"I knew it would work." Harry put his arm around Penny's shoulders with a warm smile. "With me and Penny working together, how could it not?"
"Flattery will get you nowhere, Mister." Penny playfully nudged Harry before placing a little kiss on his cheek.
Mr. Barret was happy at the successful test, but eyed the flying Welsh Green warily. "Could you do something about the dragon before it decides to fly elsewhere?"
Harry, Tonks, Fleur, and Penny quickly used their Wind Walkers to fly into the air and swiftly surround the Welsh Green. The Draig Werrd Reserve would certainly appreciate their dragon being returned alive, and now that they knew that the Ward Posts worked, there was no real need to kill it.
Another source of income had just been made for the Potter Family and their business partners the Erdunn Dwarves.
-El Pando, Venezuela-
Southwest of Maracaibo and its famous never-ending storm was a sparsely populated area. But the normally quiet region was suddenly rocked by a massive explosion.
BOOOOOOOOOOM
A fireball rose high into the air and the startled residents could all see it no matter where they lived. Many thought someone had set off a massive bomb, but the truth would be unknown for quite a while, except by the Magical.
"You caused it!" A Wizard yelled as mana and wind whipped around his body, allowing him to fly through the air. "HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE DIED BECAUSE OF YOU!" Flames snapped to life between his hands, ready to unleash another massive explosion.
The Witch that he'd tried to kill glared back at the Wizard with just as much anger. "WE DID WHAT WE HAD TO DO TO SAVE MAGIC! WOULD YOU HAVE JUST LET IT DIE?!" The air crackled as lightning lanced from her hands at the Wizard.
The Wizard managed to dodge and covered the area of the open air they were in with flames that briefly made it look like the sky was on fire. "YOU ALL SHOULD'VE FOUND ANOTHER WAY! MILLIONS DIED BECAUSE OF YOUR PLOT!" The Wizard threw hundreds of crackling spells at the Witch as they flew through the air in an aerial battle.
A nearly invisible Severing Curse cut through the air with such force that a sharp whistling sound was heard. The Wizard dropped low to avoid being bisected and managed to right himself just in time to raise a powerful Protego to block what looked like a miniature sun thrown at him by the Witch.
BOOOOM
"YOU CAN ONLY SAY THAT BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T EVEN TRY!" The Witch thundered as she conjured hundreds of sharp metal rods all around the Wizard. With a thought the rods shot towards the man with lethal intent.
The Wizard undid the conjuration as he threw his hands out wide, a nearly invisible wave passing through the air. "YOU THINK I'M THE ONLY ONE THAT KNOWS WHAT YOUR GLOBAL CABAL DID?! SO MANY OF US HAVE FIGURED YOU ALL OUT! YOU'LL PAY FOR ALL THE LIVES LOST IN YOUR 'GREAT CHANGE'!" He bellowed before seeming to grab the air and throw a portion of the sky at the Witch.
The Witch shoved her hands forward, the air and sky around her seemingly folding into itself and colliding with the incoming wave with the sound of heavy thunder. "WE SAVED MAGIC AND RESTORED THE WORLD! WE SPENT GENERATIONS OF LIVES TO FIX WHAT HAD BEEN BROKEN! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE US!"
The Wizard threw a wave of multicolored spells at the Witch in anger. "I'LL NOT ONLY JUDGE YOU, I'LL BE JURY AND EXECUTIONER AS WELL!"
"Avada Kedavra!" A man's voice said from behind the Wizard as the sickening green Killing Curse hit him in the back.
The Wizard fell from the sky, dead.
Before he could hit the ground, the Witch held out her hand and caught the body with a simple Levitation Charm.
"Are you alright, Adriana?" The newly arrived Wizard asked the Witch as they reached each other in the air.
"I'm fine, Luis." Adriana hugged her lover. "This guy came out of nowhere and started throwing curses at me while I was checking on the state of the regrown parts of the forest."
Luis narrowed his eyes at the lifeless Wizard. "Who is he? With power like that he had to have been scouted by the others to help with the plan."
Adriana shook her head once. "No idea, I've certainly never seen him before."
The fact that the man was clearly not native to Venezuela was a big reason why.
"I heard him yell about others knowing about us." Luis grimaced at other powerful Magicals wanting to play at justice now that the 'Great Change' had already been done. "I suppose we should've expected this to some degree."
"They want to enjoy the benefits of the returned magic, but cast us down for being the ones to save it because of the effects that we couldn't have predicted." Adriana scoffed at the self-righteousness.
Luis agreed with a nod. "Let's take him back to the others and see what they say."
The two made themselves and the dead Wizard invisible before flying back towards one of the hidden meetup spots in Venezuela. There was much to discuss, but with how powerful this Wizard had been, there couldn't be THAT many of the same self-righteous types that were going to come after them all.
The worst thing that could happen was if the dead Wizard had been telling the truth about the secret conspirators of the 'Great Change' having been found out. If their names and locations were leaked and spread around, there would be no end to people wanting revenge for lost loved ones.
Only time would tell if the ones that had lived and worked in secret for generations to enact the change the world needed would be brought to light and made to pay for the crime of initiating the 'Great Change' upon the world, even if none of them had known just how bad it would get.
-Potter Manor-
Harry looked into one of his notebooks with a fond little smile. On the current page was a design that meant more to him than just Artifice. He briefly jotted down some more runes and crossed out some older ones. "That would work better." He nodded to himself as he looked over his work again.
"Harry, it's almost time for dinner." Fleur said to him as she sauntered into the smithy with a sexy sway in her hips.
Harry closed the notebook and looked over at Fleur with a smile. "It's still a bit early, love."
Fleur wrapped her arms around Harry's shoulders and placed a kiss on his lips. "I know~" She purred while moving the chair that Harry was sitting in with a brief bit of magic.
"I see." Harry grinned as he flicked his finger and every button on Fleur's blouse came undone at once, opening the black top and letting Fleur's large tits spill out.
"Mmm~" Fleur stole Harry's lips in another kiss, deepening it as their tongues played together.
Harry's hands swiftly moved up to gently massage and grope Fleur's tits. "If you were in the mood, you just had to say so, Fleur."
Fleur giggled at Harry as she shrugged off her black blouse entirely as Harry played with her tits. "I'll remember for the future, mon amour~" Their lips met again as Fleur rolled her hips into Harry's lap, feeling his hardness against her.
Harry stood up from the chair, carrying Fleur easily as he groped her amazing ass with his hands. He set her down on another table as he kissed her lips, then her neck and then took one of her nipples into his mouth to suck on.
"Harry, mmm, yes~" Fleur moaned as she threw her head back, her right hand threading through Harry's wild hair as she pushed him into her breasts more. A wave of her hand and Harry's shirt was lying on the floor of the smithy, her left hand began to roam over his muscled torso in delight.
The two quickly got lost in each other, being found by Penny and Tonks a short time before dinner completely naked.
Harry was just glad that both Tonks and Penny had insisted on dragging him to the bedroom for further lovemaking.
'After all, it's not quite time yet for them to know what's in that particular notebook.' Harry thought to himself as he practically chased Tonks and Penny upstairs towards the master bedroom.
In the small notebook still lying on the table of the smithy, on the exact page that Harry had been working on, was the design of a new Artifact.
Two, in fact.
Both were rings; one with a gemstone on it and the other a band of metal.
At the top of the page were the words 'three pair' underlined and with the initials 'NTP', 'PCP', and 'FDP' beside the underlined words.

The world is filled with Magic and Monsters…but people are still finding their ways to live.
Harry and the Erdunn Dwarves are spreading useful items around to help with the problem of electricity and defense against the multitudes of Magical Creatures that now freely roam the Earth.
Harry and Penny make a new item together! Ward Posts are basically telephone poles with an extremely long runic sequence carved into them to list out all of the Magical Creatures they repel! Put them in a large circle around a location and said creatures will avoid it!
Best of all, it doesn't inhibit the free flow of magic nor does it shove away all Magical Creatures…just the dangerous ones on the list!
Dumbledore and McGonagall have noticed a very sharp increase in the number of Magical children being born within the range of Hogwarts! Perhaps the 'Great Change' has done something else unexpected, and yet similar, to the increase in reproduction that other Magical species are seeing?
It seems that the secretive Wizards and Witches that caused the change aren't as unknown as they might have thought. Will they be exposed and brought to justice, or is this merely self-righteousness from those that refused to help with a solution now that the solution worked but at a steep cost?
Harry doesn't know anything about it. He has far more important things to focus on right now…the three most important people in his life and their future together.
What happens next as time moves ever onward?
