"No. Way."

"C'mon Grissom, please?"

"Read my lips, Catherine, *NO*."

"Gil, don't make me make you."

"Catherine, don't threaten me."

"Why are you being so difficult?"

"Why are you being so annoying?"

"You've never even tried it! How would you know if you like it or not? C'mon! Just try it once!"

"I'm not going to."

"Why not?"

"Your ability to voice your feelings amazes me."

"I know, I amaze myself sometimes."

"No. I don't wanna try."

"Gimme one good reason and *maybe*, I'll let you off the hook this time."

"Hey, last time I checked, *you* were asking *me*. What happened to this being my choice?"

"You have choices, Grissom. You either try this or I bug you until you agree to try it."

"You can't make me."

"What is the big deal?"

"Catherine! You just asked me to marry you!"

"You know, I know it's a little late for me to say this but I'm feeling a bit insulted by your refusal."

"I didn't say I would *never* marry you..."

"So you will?"

"Not right now. Catherine, if I'm going to marry you, we're going to have a wedding. A real one. Not one in some cheap drive-by and we are definitely not going to be married by an Elvis-lookalike."

"So we're going to have a big fancy wedding in a church with real flowers and a real priest and little old lady playing the organ?"

"If that's what you want..."

"Good. I'm glad we agree." She gave him a big grin that told him he had fallen for yet another of her schemes before she strode proudly out of his office, leaving him to contemplate what the heck just happened.
