Good news is, Demonun deleted the fic from Webnovel, though I suspect that he scammed more than a few people. Which gave me the motivation to get a new chapter ready. Also removed the Alert Chapter. If anyone noticed.

Can't believe none of you get the Avatar the Last Airbender reference.

Chapter 49: The Light and Dark Convene

The Super Star Destroyer rested in space above the half-completed Death Star battle station and its green neighbor, Endor. The Destroyer was a massive ship, attended by numerous smaller warships of various kinds, which hovered or darted around the great mother ship like children of different ages and temperaments: medium range fleet cruisers, bulky cargo vessels, TIE fighter escorts.

The audience glanced at one another in uncertainty. Somehow, this looked even more menacing than the completed battle station that Tarkin commanded, largely due to its incomplete form that really exposes how dangerous it is for them.

"With the station still incomplete, it can be safe to presume that the rebellion will have a more straightforward way to destroy it like last time.", Mundi thoughtfully mused, remembering as to how Luke destroyed the space station in the first holotape.

"If the rebellion could get past that Imperial fleet that is," Windu spoke out in skepticism. "They wouldn't allow an incomplete superweapon lightly guarded as they do learn from their mistakes after all."

Shaak Ti cupped her chin. "But Luke's method of destroying it before was both a fortunate shot and aided by Master Kenobi and the Force. The Empire is keen to rectify that design flaw."

The main bay of the Destroyer opened, space-silent. An Imperial shuttle emerged and accelerated toward the Death Star, accompanied by four squads of fighters.

"Something tells me that this isn't simply going to be some sort of sending a detachment of troops.", Padme uttered in dread as she noticed the heavy security of said shuttle.

Anakin was tense, but remained quiet. He knew that something was off from the get-go upon seeing the shuttle.

Darth Vader watched their approach on the view-screen in the control room of the Death Star. When docking was imminent, he marched out of the command center, followed by Commander Jerjerrod and a phalanx of Imperial stormtroopers, and headed toward the docking bay.

When Vader entered the docking bay, thousands of Imperial troops snapped to attention with a momentous clap. The shuttle came to rest on the pod. Its ramp lowered like a dragon jaw, and the Emperor's royal guard ran down, red robes flapping, as if they were licks offlame shooting out the mouth to herald the angry roar. They poised themselves at watchful guard in two lethal rows besidethe ramp. Silence filled the great hall. At the top of the ramp, the Emperor appeared.

The audience felt both a sense of dread and contempt at the being before them. The one who had them by his palm through his finesse manipulations and false personas. Windu, Fisto, Mundi and Tiin felt a great deal of their anger pointed at the erstwhile Chancellor who would soon become the ruler of the Galaxy, who destroyed all that they stood for.

"Palpatine...", For Anakin, his angered flared like no other. He saw the man who played him like a fiddle. Fed his ego. Used him to commit the unspeakable against everything he had loved. And led him to the sorry state his future had become.

They could feel the triumphant and smug aura that the Emperor imposed, even if they're only watching it from a screen. "It felt as if...he's mocking us...", Depa uttered in contempt.

A thump from Yoda's cane calmed them all down, as a means to prevent them from doing anything rash that may get the erstwhile Palpatine's attention. Anakin felt that he was restrained by Padme, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan from doing anything rash. But even Obi-Wan couldn't help but glare at the Sith Lord before him.

They could not know how Luke would triumph against either Sith Lord, and all they have to do now is wait.

Slowly, he walked down. A small man was he, shriveled with age and evil. He supported his bent frame on a gnarled cane and covered himself with a long, hooded robe—much like the robe of the Jedi, only black. His robe—much like the robe of the Jedi, only black. His shrouded face was so thin of flesh it was nearly a skull; his piercing yellow eyes seemed to burn through all at which they stared.

When the Emperor reached the bottom of the ramp, Commander Jerjerrod, his generals, and Lord Vader all kneeled before him. The Supreme Dark Ruler beckoned to Vader, and began walking down the row of troops.

"Rise, my friend, I would talk with you."

"Of course he'd call me his 'friend'.", Anakin scoffed in resentment at the term given by the Sith Lord.

Vader rose, and accompanied his master. They were followed in procession by the Emperor's courtiers, the royal guard, Jerjerrod, and the Death Star elite guard, with mixed reverence and fear.

Vader felt complete at the Emperor's side. Though the emptiness at his core never left him, it became a glorious emptiness in the glare of the Emperor's cold light, an exalted void that could encompass the universe.

"It seems Vader is biding his time to find an opportunity to kill and overthrow Palpatine himself.", Saesee observed, seeing the subtle resentment Anakin's future self have for the Emperor.

"It would make sense, Master Tiin.", Luminara spoke. "After all that has happened by the end of the Clone Wars, he would wish nothing more than to destroy Palpatine. And given that Luke is his final connection to the person that he was as Anakin and of Senator Amidala, he would wish for his son join him."

"As is tradition with the Sith, Master Unduli.", Yoda then spoke with observation. "Always two there are, a master and an apprentice. As is a father and son."

"But Anakin would never allow Luke to be like him, would he?", Ahsoka protested, concerned that Vader would turn Luke into a Sith like he is.

"That remains to be seen, little 'Soka.", Plo Koon pointed out. "His attachment to his son could be his salvation. Or his downfall depending on how this goes between them."

"The Death Star will be completed on schedule, my master," Vader breathed.

"Yes, I know," replied the Emperor. "You have done well, Lord Vader... and now I sense you wish to continue your search for the young Skywalker."

"Knowing how the Sith operate, he would most likely replace Anakin with Luke.", Obi-Wan grimly pointed out. "Just like how Palpatine had Dooku replaced before him."

Anakin grimaced. "The last thing I would need is me fighting my own son because Palpatine asked me to.", he uttered in disbelief and anger. "And that he'll get the apprentice he wanted."

Vader smiled beneath his armored mask. The Emperor always knew the sense of what was in his heart; even if he didn't know the specifics."Yes, my master."

"Patience, my friend," the Emperor and the Dark Lord of the Sith cautioned. "You always had difficulty showing patience. In time, he will seek you out... and when he does, you must bring him before me. He has grown strong. Only together can we turn him to the dark side ofthe Force."

"As Master Kenobi said, Palpatine has found his replacement through Luke.", Master Fisto commented grimly.

"It's all a twisted machinations if I say so myself.", Shaak Ti spoke. "Vader would like Luke to rule beside him while Palpatine wanted Luke to replace Vader. Luke will certainly need all the help he could get."

"Yes, my master."

Together, they would corrupt the boy —thechild ofthefather. Great, dark glory. For soon, the old Emperor would die—and though the galaxy would bend fromthe horror of that loss, Vader would remain to rule, with young Skywalker at his side. As it was always meant to be.

The Emperor raised his head a degree, scanning all the possible futures. "Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen."

He, like Vader, had plans of his own—plans of spiritual violation, the manipulation of lives and destinies. He chuckled to himself, savoring the nearness of his conquest:the final seduction ofthe young Skywalker.

Anakin had to sigh and resist doing anything to Palpatine right now after seeing his intention to turn Luke into his own attack dog to replace him.

Luke left his X-wing parked at the edge ofthe water and carefully picked his way through the adjoining swamp.

He had ambivalent feelings about this place. Dagobah. His place of tests, of training to be a Jedi. This was where he'd truly learned to use the Force, to let it flow through himto whatever end he directed it. So he'd learned how caretaking he must be in order to use the Force well. It was walking on light; but to a Jedi it was as stable as an earthen floor

"The gap between as to what happened at Cloud City and to the present time here may suggests that Luke is prepared to face both his father and the Emperor.", Mundi spoke out, trying to sound optimistic.

"I find it hard to comprehend, Master Mundi.", Plo Koon thoughtfully replied. "Luke will certainly need more than just his training if such a confrontation happens. To face two Sith Lords would require him all the help he could get."

Ahsoka then spoke up. "But surely Luke could speak with Anakin, right?", she hopefully asked.

Windu remained skeptical. "Assuming that he does not fall into the same trap his father did.", he answered her.

He climbed around a barricade of gnarled roots, slippery with moss. On the other side, a smooth, unimpeded path led straight in the direction he wanted to go; but he did not take it. Instead, he plunged once more into the undergrowth.

High overhead, something black and flapping approached, then veered away. Luke paid no attention. He just kept walking until he found the hut as to where the Jedi Grand Master live.

Yoda stood smiling inside, his small green hand clutching his walking stick for support. "Waiting for you I was," he nodded.

He motioned Luketo sit in acorner. The boy was struck by how much more frail Yoda's manner seemed—a tremor to the hand, a weakness to the voice. It made Luke afraid to speak, to betray his shock at the old master's condition.

"Master Yoda looked...frail...", Caleb spoke out in concern as he compared it to their Grand Master in the present to the one they're looking at now.

Anakin and Obi-Wan stared at the Grand Master, who remained stoic. This can't be the time would it? Luke would need all the help and he could get against his father and Sidious, and Yoda was the only other Jedi who could help him in such a monumental task.

"That face you make," Yoda crinkled his tired brow cheerfully . "Look I so bad to young eyes?"

He tried to conceal his woeful countenance, shifting his position in the cramped space. "No, Master... of course not."

The audience all looked at Yoda who merely chuckled at them. "I can assure you, we share the same sentiment as Luke, Master Yoda.", Kit Fisto told him.

"I do, yes, I do!" The tiny Jedi Master chuckled gleefully. "Sick I've become. Yes. Old and weak." He pointed a crooked finger at his young pupil. "When nine hundred years old you reach, look as good you will not."

"Nine hundred years...", Rex wondered in awe as he compared to the lifespan of the Clones compared to him. "He must've taught battalions apprentices at that point."

Indeed. Most of the Jedi Council were at some point, an apprentice to Yoda. And they owed their teachings and their skills to him. Not to mention, Yoda mentored most Younglings in their earlier years similar to that of a father-figure.

The creature hobbled over to his bed, stillchuckling and, with great effort, lay down. "Soon will I rest. Yes, forever sleep. Earned it. I have."

"But...Master Yoda can't die now, can he?", Padme exclaimed in concern. She couldn't imagine her son doing it all alone. "Luke still needs his help."

"Every beginning, an end comes with them, Senator.", Yoda spoke with resignation but with hope. "Guided through the Force, Luke will be."

Many of the Jedi had known Yoda for so long that, they never imagined him passing away as he had outlived countless of them from the centuries he served as their leader. To see him finally pass in front of them was a thought that never crossed their minds.

Luke shook his head. "You can't die, Master Yoda."

"Strong am I with the Force... but not that strong! Twilight is upon me, and soon night must fall. That is the way of things... the way of the Force."

"But I need your help," Luke insisted. "I've come back to complete the training" The great teacher couldn't leave him now—there was too much, still, to understand. And he'd taken so much fromYoda already, and as yet given back nothing. He had much he wanted to share with the old creature.

Anakin and Padme felt pride at their son's patience and clear mind that he needed more time. Anakin would want nothing more for Luke to be truly ready at what lies before him.

But for Yoda, he observed his future counterpart's words. It wasn't simply from both the Lightsaber or the Force. It might have been something else that he hadn't taught his apprentices before Luke.

"No more training do you require," Yoda assured him. "Already know you that which you need."

The audience couldn't figure out what Yoda is referring to.

"Then I am a Jedi?" Luke pressed. No. He knew he was not, quite. Something still lacked.

Yoda wrinkled up his wizened features. "Not yet. One thing remains. Vader... Vader you must confront. Then, only then, a full Jedi you'll confront him you will."

"But Luke can't do this alone...", Ahsoka protested. "There is still Palpatine he needed to confront as well!"

However, Obi-Wan had a different interpretation. "It may not be through the Lightsaber or the Force, Ahsoka.", he suggested. "But I am certain it is something that Luke had that we have yet to see."

Anakin squeezed his eyes shut, trying to get the image of Luke fighting him. The possibility of himself goading his son to embrace the Dark Side. Of becoming a monster that he had become under Palpatine's yoke.

Luke knew this would be his test, it could not be otherwise. Every quest had its focus, and Vader was inextricably at the core of Luke's struggle. It was agonizing for himto put the question to words; but after a long silence, he again spoke to the old Jedi. "Master Yoda...is Darth Vader my father?"

The audience looked concerned. Luke still refused to believe that the Jedi Obi-Wan had told him about was the same person whom he had to fight, and the one who cut off his hand.

However, Yoda, Plo Koon and Windu understood as to why the truth had been kept from Luke. It was both to protect him and that he had to be ready at he was up against.

"Luke knowing what happened to General Skywalker is still a wound no bacta could heal...", Rex spoke out in sympathy for the young man.

"I would separate the man who had been my apprentice, my brother, and the hero he was, to the person he had become.", Obi-Wan lamented in sadness, placing his hand on his forehead after recalling the painful memories of the third holotape from earlier.

"Luke had to understand what lies before him, Master.", Anakin told him, as a means to prevent Obi-Wan from blaming himself. "And for that, I'm glad."

Yoda's eyes filled with a weary compassion. This boy was not yet a man complete. A sad smile creased his face, he seemed almost to grow smaller in his bed. "A rest I need. Yes. A rest."

Luke stared at the dwindling teacher, trying to give the old one strength, just by the force of his love and will.

"Yoda, I must know," he whispered. "Your father he is,"Yoda said simply.

Luke closed his eyes, his mouth, his heart, to keep away the truth of that he knew was true.

Padme's eyes felt misty, like she wanted to embrace Luke. Even when they were apart, she wanted to comfort him. To explain to him what really happened. In any way she could to help him.

Anakin gripped her hand tightly, biting his lip and the Jedi could feel the sorrow he felt for his son.

"Told you, did he?" Yoda asked.

Luke nodded, but did not speak. He wanted to keep the moment frozen, to shelter it here, to lock time and space in this room, so it could never escape into the rest of the universe with this terrible knowledge, this unrelenting truth.

A look of concern filled Yoda's face. "Unexpected this is,and unfortunate—"

"Unfortunate that I know the truth?" A bitterness crept into Luke's voice, but he couldn't decide if it was directed at Vader, Yoda, himself, or the universe at large.

Windu noticed a part of Anakin had revealed himself to Luke. But he was patient enough to hear them out and to see reason. As if Luke knew how to control his emotions, but not entirely suppress them. But he remained silent as he wished to observe this further.

Yoda gathered himself up with an effort that seemed to take all his strength. "Unfortunate that you rushed to face him—that incomplete your training was... that not ready for the burden were you."

A great tension seemed to pass out of him and he closed his eyes.

"Master Yoda, I'm sorry." Luke trembled to see the potent Jedi so weak.

To the Jedi amongst the audience, Yoda felt like he was thefather that they looked up to. Who had always been so strong. And to see him like this, made them feel that they were going to lose a part they inherited from him.

Luke crawled over to sit beside his continued, his voice increasingly frail. "Remember, a Jedi's strength flows from the Force. But beware. Anger, fear, aggression. The dark side are they. Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.."

I wish I took that lesson to heart, Master Yoda..., Anakin thought, clenching his fist as he remembered willingly kneeling before Sidious.

He lay back in bed, his breathing became shallow. Luke waited quietly, afraid to move, afraid to distract the old one an iota, lest it jar his attention even a fraction from the business of just keeping the void at bay. After a few minutes,Yoda looked at the boy once more, and with a maximum effort, smiled gently, the greatness of his spirit the only thing keeping his decrepit body alive.

"Luke...Luke...Do not...Do not underestimate the powers of the Emperor, or suffer your father's fate, you will. Luke, when gone am I...", he coughed for a moment. "the last of the Jedi will you be. Luke, the Force runs strong in your family. Pass on what you have learned, Luke..."

Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, Fisto, Luminara, Depa, Caleb, Shaak Ti, Mundi, Tiin, and Plo Koon felt a pang of sorrow, realizing that the time had come for their Grand Master.

For Yoda and Windu, this was a natural cycle. They knew they had to pass on their teachings to an apprentice after they had taught everything they needed to learn. And to fight against the darkness that threatened to consume the galaxy.

He began to falter, he closed his eyes. "There is...another...Sky...Sky...walker.."

The Jedi all lowered their heads in both mourning and of respect to their Grand Master. As Yoda looked at them, he only maintained his calm demeanor to assure them. "Done what I can, I have.", he spoke. "Guide young Skywalker through the Force, I shall."

Anakin and Padme looked at one another in both shock and of wonder. She remembered that she had given birth to twins before her own untimely passing. "Another Skywalker...but who?", Ahsoka spoke out, wondering where Luke had to find her.

He caught his breath, and exhaled, his spirit passing from him like a sunny wind blowing to another sky. His body shivered once;and he disappeared. Luke sat beside the small, empty bed for over an hour, trying to fathom the depth of this loss. It was unfathomable.

Aimlessly he made his way back to where his ship rested. Artoo rushed up, beeping hisexcited greeting; but Luke was disconsolate, and could only ignore the faithful little droid. Artoo whistled a brief condolence, then remained respectfully silent.

Luke sat dejectedly on a log, put his head in his hands, and spoke softly to himself. "I can't do it, Artoo. I can't go on alone."

"Against two Sith Lords, what he could he do?", Luminara whispered in wonder and thought.

A voice floated down to himon the dim mist. "Yoda will always be with you."

It was Ben's voice.

Anakin felt a pang of relief upon seeing his master again in spiritual form. But he knew that Luke would want to confront Obi-Wan of the truth about the identity of his father. But hoped that he would be able to explain this clearly to his son who had gone through so much already

Luke turned around swiftly to see the shimmering image of Obi-Wan Kenobi standing behind him. "Obi-Wan." he whispered. There wereso many things he wanted to say, they rushed through his mind all in a whirl, like the churning, puffed cargo ofa ship in a maelstrom.

But one question rose quickly to the surface above all the others.

"Why, Ben? Why didn't you tell me?"

"You told me Vader betrayed and murdered my father." The bitterness he'd felt earlier, with Yoda, had found its focus now on Ben.

"What else could he have told him?", Saesee spoke out in concern. "I do not think Luke would fathom his father being the right hand of the Emperor."

"It was to protect him, Master Tiin.", Plo Koon answered him. "Master Kenobi knew that if anyone knew of Luke's identity, both Palpatine and Vader would have stop at nothing to get him as an apprentice. Which is why Obi-Wan hoped he is old enough to teach him to become a Jedi as well as the Force itself. In hopes he had learned enough to not walk that path after knowing what it could do to him."

Ben absorbed the vitriol undefensively, then padded it with instruction. "Your father was seduced by the dark side of the Force—he ceased to be Anakin Skywalker, and became Darth Vader. When that happened, the good man who was your father was destroyed. So what I told you was true...from a certain point of view."

Shaak Ti carefully registered those words and put them into interpretation. "The Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker died the moment he knelt to Darth Sidious, hence Darth Vader was born.", she recounted.

"A rather accurate assessment, Master Ti.", Obi-Wan agreed with her.

"That still doesn't really mean anything.", Anakin spoke out, not wanting to downplay the choices he willingly made because he willingly chose to do all of that. "I made those choices and I have to live with the consequences."

Windu and Yoda looked at Anakin for a moment, seeing how the Chosen One was willing to own up to his own mistakes and recognizing his errors as well as theirs which they recognized.

"A certain point of view?" Luke rasped derisively.

"Luke," Ben spoke gently, "you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our point of view."

"He is right...", Kit Fisto spoke thoughtfully, cupping his chin. "We tend to believe what we want to believe from our perspective. And not what the enemy had imposed to all of us."

Luke turned unresponsive. He wanted to hold onto his fury, to guard it like a treasure. It was all he had, he would not let it be stolen fromnhim, aseverything else had been stolen. But already he felt it slipping, softened by Ben's compassionate touch.

"I don't blame you for being angry," Ben coaxed. "If I was wrong in what I did, it certainly wouldn't have been for the first time. You see, what happened to your father was my fault..."

Obi-Wan sighed, looking downcast.

"You can't blame it all yourself, Obi-Wan.", Anakin urged him. "You did all that you could."

"But I should have been more considerate, Anakin.", Obi-Wan insisted. "To be more open at what you felt at that moment."

"And I should have listen more.", Anakin countered.

"Anakin was a good friend.", Obi-Wan spoke again. "When I first knew him, your father was already a great pilot."

Thirteen years ago, Anakin destroyed the Trade Federation Blockade aboard a Naboo Starfighter, with Artoo assisting him. Anakin smiling slightly at the memory. "I remember that like it was yesterday.", he recounted.

"It was almost unbelievable to see it for myself now, Anakin.", Kit Fisto spoke out with a chuckle. "I thought you embellishing that feat."

"But I was amazed how strongly the Force was with him. I took it upon myself to train him as a Jedi."

Aboard the Invisible Hand, Anakin outdueled and began to overwhelm Count Dooku as Obi-Wan lay down unconscious.

"I thought that I could instruct him just as well. Yoda. I was wrong. My pride has had terrible consequences for the galaxy."

Obi-Wan looked down at the burning form of Anakin at Mustafar before he walked away in grief.

The audience felt that memory coming back to haunt them. The very sight was very unsettling as it was painful for others to watch as everything went downhill from there.

"There's still good in him.", Luke insisted.

Ahsoka, Rex, and Obi-Wan remembered with a grimace. Those were the exact final words Padme gave in her dying moments, her unwavering love for Anakin.

"He may have Skywalker's strength, but he has Senator Amidala's compassion.", Plo Koon observed.

Anakin, however was not so sure. After everything he had done, could he even come back to the way he was as his son believed in him.

"I also thought he could be turned back to the good side. It couldn't be done. He is more machine now than man. Twisted and evil.", Obi-Wan sadly added.

"You're just going to give up like that, Obi-Wan?", Padme spoke in disbelief.

Windu, however spoke up. "No person has ever came back from the Dark Side once they have walked that path.", he pointed out.

"But what about Master Revan? Didn't he went back to the Light from being a Sith Lord?", Ahsoka countered, having read stories of the man back at the Temple Library.

"Ahsoka, we are talking about events that happened millennia ago.", Saesee spoke to her. "And what happened those years was very complicated to say. Not to mention, records of what happened to Revan or how he do it are fairly scarce ever since the Sith ransacked the Temple millennia following Revan's death. So we cannot be sure if it fictitious or a fact."

Yoda, however, shared Master Windu's sentiment. He had tried to do so with Count Dooku before, but was never able to.

"I can't do it, Ben.", Luke whispered.

"You cannot escape your destiny.", Ben replied.

"I tried to stop him once. I couldn't do it."

"Vader humbled you when first you met him, Luke... but that experience was part of your training. It taught you, among other things, the value of patience. Had you not been so impatient to defeat Vader then, you could have finished your training here with Yoda. You would have been prepared."

"Could not have said it better, Master Kenobi.", Ahsoka admitted.

"But I had to help my friends."

Obi-wan smiled at him. "And did you help them? It was they who had to save you. You achieved little by rushing back prematurely, I fear."

The audience looked back at Obi-Wan and Anakin, seeing the conversation between Ben and Luke clearly mirrored theirs in their banter. "You really have to do it the same way, do you Obi-Wan?", Anakin remarked.

"I'd say it's a tradition to point out their tendencies to rush things without thinking.", Obi-Wan countered.

"I found out Darth Vader was my father.", Luke spoke in a disheartened tone.

"To be a Jedi, Luke, you must confront and then go beyond the dark side, the side your father couldn't get past. Impatience is the easiest door for you, like your father. Only, your father was seduced by wha the found on the other side of the door, and you have held firm. You're no longer so reckless now, Luke. You are strong and patient. And now, you must face Darth Vader again!"

"But there's gotta be another way, does it?", Caleb hopefully asked.

They were silent. The way Obi-Wan spoke indicate that he no longer held any belief that Vader still held any semblance of the man Anakin once was. But many of them couldn't help but feel that Anakin was too far gone to be convinced after committing numerous atrocities under the Sith's name.

Obi-Wan, however, continued to believe that Luke could get to him somehow. The future has not happened yet, but he couldn't help but sympathize with his future counterpart as to how much he had lost to the Sith.

Padme felt the pain that Ben felt after losing so much. As did Anakin for himself and for Ben and Luke. Ahsoka and Rex still held out belief that Luke could reach out to whatever abyss Anakin had fallen to.

"I can't kill my own father.", Luke reasoned out.

"Then the Emperor has already won.", Ben looked away. "You were our only hope. Yoda spoke of another. The other he spoke of is your twin sister."

"But we never get to know who this sister is.", Mundi pointed out in confusion. "The third holotape glitched out before we could surmise who could have adopted her and along with the idea on where she could be."

"Then we'll learn it here.", Ahsoka firmly stated, focusing her gaze at the screen before them.

At this point, Anakin and Padme wanted to know who it is, but they constantly felt as it they have the answers beneath their noses. And they could feel their heartbeat rapidly pace as they felt the anticipation that the answer will be revealed to them soon enough.

Luke was genuinely confused. "But I have no sister."

"Hmm. To protect you both from the Emperor, you were hidden from your father when you were born. The Emperor knew, as I did, if Anakin were to have any offspring, they would be a threat to him. That is the reason why your sister remains safely anonymous."

"Because who knows what could have happened to Luke or his sister if Palpatine or Vader raised them to be Sith from their childhood.", Windu commented grimly.

"What's worse, is that Palpatine would use the children against Vader whenever he pleased or if his usefulness has come to an end.", Luminara added.

Luke took his time, searching his feelings before his eyes widened in realization.

"Leia! Leia's my sister."

The revelation took the others like a tidal wave, though many of them had a cinch ever since the first holotape. Leia Organa, the supposed daughter of Bail, was the daughter of Anakin and Padme.

Anakin and Padmé's jaws are agape before they looked down in both sorrow and joy of the woman she had become. "Our daughter...", Padme uttered in both pride and admiration.

"Our daughter... she's done so much for galaxy to keep the hope that it will be freed from the Sith, even if she hasn't known it.", Anakin added, feeling a tear fall down his cheek. "She's so strong...so resilient..."

The others couldn't help but be amazed. "That certainly explains why she looked like Senator Amidala but act like General Skywalker in several occasions.", Rex added with a chuckle.

"You think? I kept hearing Anakin whenever she decided to be snide to anyone else who gets on her nerves.", Ahsoka chimed in.

"Of course, it's bound to be inherited by someone with a mouth and mind like that.", Obi-Wan added, still trying to comprehend that Leia is indeed the daughter of Anakin and Padme.

"Would also explains why Skywalker is oddly protective of Leia.", Shaak To realized. "It was paternal instinct."

Mundi took his time to remember. "But didn't she and Luke-"

The rest looked at him, daring him to finish that sentence upon remembering that incident at Hoth and ruin the moment. Mundi only sank in his chair in response while Windu shook his head.

"Your insight serves you well. Bury your feelings deep down, Luke. They do you credit. But they could be made to serve the Emperor.", Ben cautioned.

Luke looked into the distance, trying to comprehend all this. "When your father left, he didn't know your mother was pregnant. Your mother and I knew he would find out eventually, but we wanted to keep you both as safe as possible, for as long as possible."

"I don't think that's how it happened from the way we saw it.", Kit Fisto pointed out. "Skywalker is aware that Senator Amidala was pregnant before all that."

"So I took you to live with to your father's stepbrother Owen on Tatooine... and Leia was to live as the daughter of Senator Organa, on Alderaan."

"Which explains why Lars didn't want Luke to leave as well...", Depa commented.

Luke turned and settled near Ben to hear the tale.

"The Organa household was high-born and politically quite powerful in that system. Leia became a princess by virtue of lineage... no one knew she'd been adopted, of course. But it was a title without real power since Alderaan had long been a democracy. Even so, the family continued to be politically powerful, and Leia, following in her foster father's path, became a senator as well. That's not all she became, of course... she became the leader of her cell in the Alliance against the corrupt Empire. And because she had diplomatic immunity, she was a vital link for getting information to the Rebel cause. That's what she was doing when her path crossed yours... for her foster parents had always told her to contact me on Tatooine, if her troubles became desperate."

"It all makes sense now...", Plo Koon spoke in realization. "As Senators Amidala and Organa have spoke out against Chancellor Palpatine's steps in taking absolute power for himself that Bail took the reins in establishing a resistance with the help of others rebels like that of Wren and Padawan Dume."

Luke felt overwhelmed by the truth, feeling protective of his sister that he long knew as a close friend. "But you can't let her get involved now, Ben. Vader will destroy her."

"She hasn't been trained in the ways of the Jedi the way you have, Luke... but the Force is strong with her, as it is with all of your family. There is no avoiding the battle. You must face and destroy Vader!"

Anakin, Padme and Obi-Wan felt a sense of dread. The last thing Anakin wanted now was for him to be near Leia and mold her to whatever his mind had concocted.

And all of a sudden, Anakin felt a great deal of guilt and self-loathing, remembering as to how he ordered his own daughter's torture aboard the Death Star and made her watch Alderaan as he restrained her.

They knew that if Leia knew her father truly was, there was almost no question that she would have hated him and everything he was for what done to her.

All Anakin could do now, is for the Force to guide Luke and to stop him and the Emperor at all costs. After everything thing they have went through.
