Author Notes:

Hello there my friend, here I am! Your ever friendly neighbor Spidey—Erm! I mean, Wardex! And I've come here to publish a new story—How original, I know and kinda lame considering I already have other stories I should focus on rather than wasting my time in silly things like publishing more stories before even making a remarkable progress with the storylines of my other progress. But when inspiration hit you, it can hit you as hard as like Star Platinum's punches sometimes~!

To be fair, I didn't want to publish a new fic but after some talks with a good friend of mine, I decided that it would be better to get rid of this idea by imprinting it in the Internet cloud… That and manly because… My laptop is on its last days—No really, it's a miracle that I was able to update "Goukiri Banchou" because this damnable computer has been suffering lots of problems and what's worst, I cannot find someone to help me out with this. I can feel it, this laptop of mine is going to die in the most spectacular way and, with its "death", a lot of my precious archives will fade away.

I could copy all important documents, mind you—If it wasn't for the fac that this Third-Rate machine is not cooperating! Every time I try to do something elaborated or complicated, this thing gets frozen and its main functions suddenly ceases.

Yeah, I know… Dark days are coming…!

Anyhow—! I just wanted to let you know how bad is my situation at the moment and explain why I took so long in my schedule. And THIS is the main reason of my struggles. But enough of sad and petty things, I'm still here so I won't give up so easily, ya know!

This time it's a [Gamer] Fic kinda like my Kill la Kill Fic, but this time is set in the world of Naruto! And I have to say, that with the inclusion of this new player in the scene, the story is going to have some twist, for better or for worst!

This work was inspired by the story The Gamer of Sunagakure of the author Zturm—highly recommendable if you want to see a story not focused in Konoha like the 90% of the fandom. That fic was awesome and I would love for the author to update their story!

Now, without anything else to add, let's start the party!

Prologue (Part 1): An Odd Child

{Land of Wind — Sunagakure}

{Unknown }

The life is never easy when you're a citizen of one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries (1) of the Ninja World. In a world where there are always struggles, wars for supremacy, backstabs and conspiracies, even the most honorable of the civilians cannot live a long life without picking a few things under the years.

And when you live in a country that suffered from a poor economically and a substantial loss in its military power like The Land of Wind (2), your life vastly depends on the wits and intelligence you collected through years of experience.

While I was never a Shinobi or part of the military, I learned a few things from some good friend I had and thanks to some blackmailing schemes I may or may have not made in the past, my life turned out to be more "bearable", relatively speaking of course. Well, it's not like I'd have to worry about politics as I ain't a criminal or a Clan Head either—I'm just the matron of an orphanage as matter of fact.

However, after the Third Shinobi World War (3), my hometown—Sunagakure no Sato (4), suffered great losses economically, military and financially speaking, therefore my job has suddenly become more exhausting to say the least.

To begin with, it was already difficult to deal with the orphaned children who lost their parents during the war, those who were dropped off because of financial difficulties and the ones abandoned by ungrateful parents. But things scaled to a whole new level after the Kazekage (5) decided to make a new law that stated that orphan children of 4 years or above have the obligation to enroll in the Shinobi Academy should they prove some proficiency or actual talent in the arts of the ninja.

Such a nerve that man has, but as much as I load that brat for forcing such a Law on his people, I could see the pragmatism and logical reasoning behind his actions. Out village had many lost during the war, not only in the militarily but also financially as well—then again, the whole country is having a bad time so I won't comply.

With this new development, the Kazekage can hit two birds with several birds with one stone.

The Fourth Kazekage (6) was no fool. By implementing this new Law, not only he would lessen the burdens of raising older children but also regulate and indoctrinate a new generation of shinobi for the country and village. It was more efficient to raise soldiers who feels compelled out of blind loyalty than mere soldier who would rather run away like cowards. Lessening the orphanages' burdens, thus allowing a proper financial redistribution of the currency that could be used to help us reconstruct the village's power and the boon of having loyal shinobi… I have to praise the brat for his quick decision, even I HATE the idea of Child Soldiers.

In any case, what is done is done. No matter how much I wanted to object, there so much a person in my position could do without having to face some gruesome consequences at the hands of both the Shinobi Council and the country authorities. The only reassuring thought left in my mind is that I, and the rest of the staff, will be able to at least give this precious little brats some comfort and warmth.

Poor little things, being forced to face the harsh reality and be subjected to Shinobi training… Sometimes I wonder what kind of rotten world we live on. No child should experience the horrors of wars and death, the nerve some shinobi have to 'brainwash' their innocent minds by saying that 'Shinobi are heroes that fight for their love ones and their country… Or die trying'. The worst part is that most kids don't figure out the real meaning of those worlds until it's far too late.

There are always small exceptions of this rule though.

There is always an individual whose intellect, curiosity or cunningness allows them to see the truth and has a better understanding of this dark reality.

In this case, the person who embodied this was but a boy who recently left the orphanage to enroll in the Shinobi Academy of the village a few months ago. He was a kid who was left behind by the person I assume was his father a few years ago when the kid was around 2 years old.

The name of this child was Takumi. I cannot remember all too well the day he was dropped off here but according to his father(?), he couldn't take care of him and decided it would be for the best to left him in the orphanage.

"Who knows? Perhaps in the future he will become something great and accomplish many things, don't ya think? Maybe he could become an extremely powerful man in the future?"

The words of the man were a puzzle I'm still trying to decipher since it subtly stated he has no intention of meeting the kid when he grows up, and it also mentioned he was practically and deliberately throwing his own brat to the shinobi life.

I was pissed of course, but before I could even express my dismay the man left without a second thought. The nerve he has…!

Anyhow, little after that incident I saw no reason to object the request considering the brat has no one else to rely on as far as I know. And if that asshole was so eager for the child to be a shinobi then perhaps Takumi has some sort of a hidden potential.

Of course, all children are special and unique in their own way… But then we realized how unique little Takumi was compared to his peers. It wasn't as if he was what you call an orthodox prodigy or the wielder of a powerful Kekkei Genkai(7), nay. Takumi displayed his talents in a more mundane yet frightening impressive manner.

An innate driven to learn new things unlike the others of his age.

His mental development wasn't so significant at first but slowly, he became more aware and curious about his surrounding, asking several questions regarding the village, economy, families and environment. During the kindergarten lessons he would always pay the utmost attention to me, he was very attentive with the lectures about proper reading skills, speaking and write.

I understand wanting to learn, but his inquisitive about everything was a bit too much sometimes. The brat would always read out loud all the books in the orphanage to practice his speaking and reading abilities. Every now and then, he'll encounter a word that I haven't taught him or forgot the meaning of and will come running to the nearest adult asking "What's this word?"

He was an odd child, and that goes without saying.

It was almost as if he made his own personal quest to learn the contents of every book in the orphanage possession with a maddening drive and yet he more than often exhibited a patient demeanor if the books he didn't read were occupied, preferring to lay quiet and silently reread those he already finished without throwing tantrum or demanding something.

And the faces he made every time he successfully learned something new were just too cute, as those were one of the times I actually saw him acting more accordingly to his age. In fact, he will be joyful.

Girls from the orphanage staff often joked about such an odd yet adorable kid celebrating with a wide grin. I couldn't help but imagine the words "Mission Accomplished" appearing above him every time he achieves an objective.

Soon enough, he proved to be so smart that holding a proper conversation with other adults were a childplay for him (no pun intended). But then it come time to teach the kids how to eat on their own and all us can see that even as a so-called 'genius', Takumi was not perfect in any sense of the word. Who would have thought that such a smart kid was completely unable to fully grasp the proper hand posture to grab and use chopsticks?

It's funny to see him struggling and get frustrated about silly things like that. He wasn't the only one to struggle, but he was the only one who couldn't manage to do it properly until eight months later, much to his dismay and our amusement. It seemed like our little genius can't be good at everything.

But even then, Takumi was still an odd child whose mind seemed to be far more developed than the rest. At nighttime, I'd take a peak and sneak on him to see if he's sleeping. Sometimes, I will hear him mumble and sleep talk random things. Most of it was gibberish, but some phrases that stuck out.

"Kill or be killed… Live and Learn… Get Stronger"

Such phrases were chilling to say the least but it weren't what I would catalogue as alarming considering this started to happen a few days after some shinobi came over to tell some stories to the children.

The ever eager and curious kids asked the visiting shinobi what's a ninja and what they do in life. They didn't mince their words and bluntly told the children a very romanced summary about the profession.

"Well, kids, we Ninjas are heroes of our village and always fight for the country, beating up the bad guys or die trying!"

What a bunch of brain-washing crap those assholes dared to say!

Sadly, most kids didn't get the hidden meaning of those words and instead thought ninjas were cool, ignoring pretty much everything said after the word 'heroes' was mentioned. But Takumi, as smart as he was, figured everything out… And he was outrightly disturbed and horrified at the part of 'die trying'.

It wasn't a secret that our Shinobi are indoctrinated to believe the success of a mission predominates the lives of the ninja trying to accomplish it, and Takumi realized it without having anyone telling him.

Ever since that moment, Takumi's whole demeanor suffered another change thanks to this. He started to make some exercises to refine his physical condition the best he could as he also figured out what would be his fate when he turned 4 years-old. I didn't blame him for that since the Academy's standards were rather high and those who are deemed as 'failures' of shinobi are usually locked down by the rest of the village's people one way or another.

He also did any sort of things like stand in poses or balancing himself on one leg and placing the heel on the ankle, practicing sprints, make push-ups, etc. He didn't want to be labeled as a failure and he shows a strong aversion at that term.

By repeating this routine for several months, he gained a stronger frame compared to his peers and proved to be an eligible candidate that met most of the requirements for the Academy.

His hard work was awe-inspiring and during his fourth birthday, I congratulated him with a brand new stuffed animal, a tanuki doll, as a reward for all his accomplishments and as a memento for all the moment he had here before departing to the Academy with the rest.

But still, there was one thing that went unnoticed by Takumi… His lack of friends. He played with the other kids, which go without saying. But he didn't develop any sort of friendship or attachment with any other kid. Save for me and some members of the staff, just a small group of people can say to have had an amicable relationship with him. Some people even think he viewed most of his orphan peers as mere acquaintances he had no interest in interacting with.

Perhaps it was his high intelligence and self-awareness that stopped him from even trying to form bonds with others. I knew better, it was merely because he was too shy and insecure, not knowing what to say or do, hesitating every single time and pondering if he should do something or not.

He was so focused in learning new things that he overlooked his own social skills, thus making him into a loner who couldn't even hold long conversations with his peers—especially regarding girls, so he decided to do nothing and become introvert as a result.

Maybe the untrained and less experienced eye can't tell but my long life has granted me encyclopedic knowledge and wisdom for this kind of things. If only I realized it sooner then I'd helped him. It was kinda sad to watch such a sweet kid struggle so much just because he was unable to make friends without a third party's (namely her and the staff) aid.

Nonetheless, I decided to make a move a day before he left and organized a small party for the kids who were gonna be conscripted in the Academy and I make sure to told him everyone would miss him and that we all have faith he could become someone great, cool, kind and strong.

He was surprised by my words, I could see traces of a mixture of emotions overflowing in him. I can tell he was shocked, thankful and… Happy. He was very happy that we acknowledge him as one of our precious people, and afterward he showed us the widest grin we'd ever seen in the whole time we had known him.

However, he didn't remain in silence as he decided to speak on his own behalf. His words shocked us.

"Thank you, Shiori-san and you guys! I'm not gonna let you down! I'll become the strongest ninja ever in the Elemental Nations, surpass the Kages and the likes and show the world that even simple orphan can become great men and women, that's a promise!"

We didn't know how to react at first but shortly after his little speech, all of us couldn't help but smile at him warmly and overjoyed… Because it was the first time we saw him acting with such a genuine kindness and boldness. I'm pretty sure no one ever thought that the normally quiet boy would ever express an attitude like that.

Those words may be seen as hollow and rather childish but when it comes to a normally pragmatic and level-headed person as Takumi, those words were unvalued. Who would have thought that a single party was all it needed to break through his cold shell? Well, he had lived most of his days here being a rather introvert person who did not knowing if he was well-liked or not. The fact that we gifted him with such a celebration really shook his little world.

I actually thought we're gonna cry—and indeed, some of us were laughing and crying in joy. We're not seeing a callous and cold kid anymore. That day we were finally able to see the real Takumi. And it was a sight we wouldn't change for anything else in the word.

"We are all looking forward for the day Takumi will raise to become the man he's mean to be" I said with a faint smile, looking at the sky expectantly.

I knew he was going to soar the skies one day. He's an odd child. Our little Takumi.

{Sunagakure — Shinobi Academy}

It's a rather eventful day at the academy, crowds of fathers and shinobi were attending to the main building. And that's because this day, the next generation of Shinobi will begin their education in order to become strong ninjas for the "sake" of the village.

Kids and parents from families like the Hoki and other families were here too—though to be honest, I don't know what make them so "famous" to begin with considering I haven't seen anything remarkable about them in the time at the library. Well, perhaps I'll figure the mystery out soon enough.

Suddenly, the crowd went silent as the grave and directed their attention at the stage. Looking at the source, it was somebody pretty important and famous. Up on the stage was the 4th Kazekage—Rasa of the Desert, dressed in his formal robes and hat

It was my first time actually seen the Kazekage in the flesh, he looks so remarkably similar to his 2-D counterpart that it's kinda unnerving to say the least. How the heck did Kishimoto and his team make such accurate draws? That's beyond me and, frankly, I've the feeling the answer would put my remaining sanity to its boiling point.

Anyway, aside from his appearance, I can tell this man is powerful with just a single glance. Not only because of his authoritative and regal aura but the gentle yet ominous dread he passively emits from his body to show how strong he is.

However, what really got my attention was the "screen" hovering above his head, provided to me thanks to my "ability".

[Fourth Kazekage]

Rasa — LV?

Yup! Overpowered as hell and seemingly a complete asshole of a father just like the Naruto series depicts him to be—and that theory is highly reinforced with the hardened glare he use against us, children, as if he was selecting a potential tool for his usage. Not like his mindset was wrong considering we're in desperate and dark times, thus making him acts more ruthlessly during his mandate.

He cleared his voice to get the crowd's attention and started his speech in an authoritative and firm voice. "Good morning everyone, we're here today to start off a new school year. The main goal of the Academy is to prepare the mind and body to handle the tough training a ninja has to endure" He said in an elaborative tone, focusing on remaining as level-headed and eloquent as possible, a technique befitting to those in high political charges. "I hope that by the time your children graduate several years from now, they'll bring success, glory, and fame to Suna. You're all vital to the defense of our village against foreign threats like missing-nin and internal threats like bandits inside Wind Country. That'll be all" With that said, he retired from the stage and walked to the side, surrounded by his (hidden) personal guard.

The only thing I have to say

Everyone started clapping for the Kazekage's speech, clearly enraptured by the man's charisma and mannerism akin of a king. I can tell some of my new classmates were impressed and in awe for such a speech. Hm, it seems Rasa's silver tongue is effective against the young and innocent minds.

Well, this was a village were the indoctrinating system of "Valuing Missions Successes above Your Own Live" was the bread the citizen eats every day. Thankfully for me, I knew better and therefore my mind was immune to such a thing.

Quickly afterwards, another person came up to the stage. "Hello new students, welcome to today's entrance ceremony. My name is Ozuma Kosei and I'm the Academy's principle. Now let me introduce your fellow teachers" The principal said with an amicable expression and then introduced us several teachers including new ones. My assigned teacher was a young woman that was around her mid-twenties, who will be teaching students at room 202.

"Students, it's now time for you to go to the teachers you've been assigned to. Parents need to remember that school is over at 3:30 PM if you want to pick up your children when they're done."

When the ceremony concluded, along with my peers I walked to our assigned room with the teacher leading the way at slow pace so we could get more familiar with the building.

When we arrived to the classroom, I couldn't help but raise my eyebrows in mild interest. This place looked like a college class with elongated wooden desks every three steps up. When you compare it with Konoha's, the difference is overwhelming to say the least.

I chose to sit at the back of the classroom next to the windows. It wasn't exactly the best spot in the classroom but I still wanted to sit here nonetheless out of personal preference so I would have a clear view of the blue sky.

"Good grief… To think that I would be born in a world like this…" I mumbled under my breath while staring expectantly for the class to start.

My plan for the future was pretty simple; "Grow stronger both Mentally and Physically. Develop an extensive skill set to counter most of the enemies I'd surely run into and raise in the ranks of my village. Surpass all expectation and become a God of Shinobi"

In a world like this, I need to have all advantages possible to ensure my survival and obtain the strength to face those challenges the future would surely throw at me without a second thought.

Perhaps some people would think this is a wonderful world full of adventures—and in some way it is but that doesn't change the fact that the Shinobi World was rotten to the core, full of fierce conflicts between different countries and the usual conspiracies (Case point: Black Zetsu and Madara's action)

Knowledge, Intelligence, Power.

Those were the things I would be focusing on for the next years of my life, not only for my own sake but for the ones who took care of me when my family abandoned me at the doors of the orphanage. Shiori-san, the staff girls and the children of the orphanage are the only family I knew I could rely on in this world, and I will be damned if I let something bad to happen to them.

So I'll become the Strongest Shinobi in the World, create stable and durable bonds with the right people in the Politic Scope and collect a large amount of wealth to ensure a long life.

And with this power of mine, everything is possible.

Shinobi World Encyclopedia!

Hello! A bet you miust be wondering what this segment consist, and here is the answer! This is but a (not-so) short guide regarding the common lore of the Naruto series. Here we will have a more detailed description of several subjects of the series. Perhaps the more versed and devoted fans may have this info imprinted in their brains but I bet some of you are a bit blank when it comes to the Shinobi World history.

(1) [The Five Great Shinobi Countries] are the five largest countries and the main focus of the Naruto series. These countries are led by governmental leaders, known as the Daimyō, who are in charge of ruling their individual nations solely through a monarch-like government. These countries are divided equally on an unknown continent to create balance in the shinobi world. They are the Land of Earth in the Northwest, the Land of Lightning in the Northeast, the Land of Water in the East, the Land of Wind in the Southwest, and the Land of Fire in the centre. The countries are named after the dominant chakra nature of each of the areas.

These superpowers are the major players in the politics and trade between the shinobi nations. They are the most powerful of all nations and each has an extremely powerful shinobi village. The Land of Earth has Iwagakure, the Land of Lightning has Kumogakure, the Land of Water has Kirigakure, the Land of Wind has Sunagakure, and the Land of Fire has Konohagakure. These five villages are the only ones to have a Kage as the village head.

Although the Five Great Shinobi Countries are equal enough in power and military strength to create a fairly stable balance of power, the Land of Fire is considered the most powerful and influential. Similarly, the Land of Fire's shinobi village, Konohagakure, is considered the most powerful of all shinobi villages and Konoha's Hokage has been considered to be the pinnacle of the shinobi world.

(2) [The Land of Wind] is one of the more prominent countries in the series. It is located to the south-west of the Land of Fire and borders the Land of Rivers and Amegakure. Its government leader is the [Wind Daimyō. The country covers a vast realm, but is significantly composed of deserts and thus has little productivity. Because there is very little rainfall throughout the year, the people of the country live in villages built on one of the desert's many oases. Despite the country's extremely harsh environment, it has a large population. Although they have warred with each other in the past, the Land of Wind is now on good terms with the Land of Fire, with a great deal of trade going on between the two countries.

(3) [The Third Shinobi World War], also known as The Third Great Ninja War in some translations, was the third of the four shinobi wars that involved the majority of the shinobi villages. It took place more than ten years prior to the beginning of the series. Because of a decline in national power, the reign of the Five Great Shinobi Countries was crumbling. Along their borders, skirmishes with smaller nations broke out all the time. The prolonged conflicts gradually spread their flames far and wide, until at last it developed into an all-out war. The conflict turned into an unprecedented war of attrition, tormenting all nations with a shortage of war potential. Not even excluding a great power like Konoha, very young children, some of whom were barely out of the Academy were thrown onto the battlefield, eventually losing their young lives during the war.

This was possibly one of the most gruesome power struggles between the Five Great Shinobi Countries due several reason, be either by the loss of military prowess or political authority.

In Konoha, although the war had been proceeding favourably for the village, the Third Hokage established a policy of reconciliation to bring an end to the fighting with an unprecedented offer to not seek reparations from Iwa. Advocates for the war opposed Hiruzen's seemingly weak decision, and to keep dissatisfaction in the village in check, he decided to step down as Hokage. The Konoha shinobi that received the most attention for their war efforts in the village were the Sannin and the surviving members of Team Minato. Out of the two teams, Minato who was the key factor in the war that gained the moniker of Konoha's Yellow Flash alongside Orochimaru, were the only two candidates village officials put forward to succeed Hiruzen. Ultimately, it was Minato who became the Fourth Hokage.

Between Fugaku Uchiha not receiving praise for his work during the war alongside his name not being put forth to become Hokage, members of the Uchiha clan came to despise village officials. Itachi Uchiha was traumatized by the violence of the war and grew to seek peace at any cost because of it: an experience that would lead to the Uchiha Clan Downfall and prevent his clan triggering the Fourth Shinobi World War. However, Obito Uchiha who had been saved from death by Madara Uchiha during the war eventually caused the next world war, after witnessing Rin Nohara die and taking on his "savior"—Madara's identity.

In Sunagakure, Sasori earned fame as Sasori of the Red Sand, due to his ingenious puppets dyeing the sand red with his enemies' blood. In Kirigakure, Ao gained a Byakugan from a Hyūga clan member he killed during the war, which in term lead him to be known as Byakugan Killer. In Konoha, Kakashi Hatake eventually gained fame throughout the shinobi world as Copy Ninja Kakashi, after he gained a Sharingan from a dying Obito during their mission to destroy the Kannabi Bridge.

In Amegakure, Yahiko, Nagato, Konan, and many other shinobi formed a group that eventually fought the rule of Hanzō. Initially, they were merely preaching peace for Amegakure. They were supported and even invited to negotiate peace by Hanzō himself. In the anime, they unknowingly disrupted Danzō's attempt to disrupt a ceasefire between Konohagakure and Iwagakure.

After Danzō used his men's corpses to frame Akatsuki of murdering his village's shinobi, Hanzō came to fear that they were power hungry and would usurp his power. He betrayed them and called in the assistance of Danzō and his RootAnbu while holding Konan hostage. The confrontation between the two sides led to Yahiko committing suicide, choosing to do so as Yahiko did not want Nagato living with the memory of killing Yahiko. Left devastated by Yahiko's death, Nagato responded by summoning the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path which subsequently slaughtered all of the Amegakure and Root shinobi who had been instructed to kill Nagato.

Nagato also attempted to kill Hanzō who fled. This incident failed to suppress the group and led to a civil war with Nagato becoming the new leader of Akatsuki. The resulting civil war split Amegakure and ultimately resulted in the complete and utter annihilation of Hanzō's faction with Hanzō himself eventually dying at the hands of Pain.

(This was is the battle that segmented the fate of the Shinobi World as we known as Canon events are the result of this conflict. And considering the amount of bullshit that happened at that time, it's fair to say that it was a milestone for the Bad Guys (*Cough* Madara *Cough* Black Zetsu) plans)

(4) Sunagakure no Sato is the hidden village of the Land of Wind. As the village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries, Sunagakure has a Kage as its leader known as the Kazekage, of which there have been five in its history. Being surrounded by desert offers the village a natural deterrent against invasion, as few foreign powers would be willing to endure the sandstorms and water scarcity common to Suna. Sunagakure itself lies in a fortified valley behind cliffs of rock, with passage in and out of the village restricted to a single cleft between two cliff faces, making the area very hard to attack from the ground. The buildings inside seem to be made of clay or stucco, which would help to keep the buildings cool.

The standard attire for Suna shinobi consists of blue or black uniforms underneath flak jackets of various shades of beige to better blend with their natural environment and include shoulders guards. Headpieces consisting of a head-wrap and cloth neck-covers to protect against the harsh weather are popular with Suna shinobi. Many Sunagakure ninja use Wind Release techniques, which they may or may not perform with fans. Shinobi from this village believe that the accomplishment of a mission predominates the lives of the ninja trying to accomplish it. As such, they ruthlessly pursue victory in battle, and even if failure is inevitable they will still try to achieve any success against their enemy that they can. It has been noted that Sunagakure has been made up of various "families", instead of clans.

Following the Third Shinobi World War, the Land of Wind's Daimyō started outsourcing missions previously given to Suna to Konoha instead. The Fourth Kazekage began selling gold dust to try to make up for the loss of funding, but it was ultimately decided that Suna shinobi would need to rely on individual strength rather than strength of numbers. To help in this goal, the Fourth had the One-Tail sealed into his newborn son, Gaara, hoping he would become a valuable weapon.

(5) The [Kazekage] is the Kage of Sunagakure, a title bestowed on the village's leader. They are generally regarded as the strongest shinobi in the village.

The Kazekage position was created after the formation of Suna by Reto, the village's founder. Interestingly enough the anime is stated Reto was the last of the five Kage to emerge.

Although it is not expressly stated how a candidate for office is selected, in Gaara Hiden suggests that the Kazekage position is hereditary, or at least that relatives of the Fourth Kazekage are most suitable for the position; this lineage is referred to as the "Kazekage Clan". If the occupant of the post dies or reported missing after a long period of time, the next Kazekage is chosen by the Suna Council. Once the duties of the position are assumed, they usually move to the Kazekage's Office.

Throughout history, the Kazekage have earned a reputation for being feared and respected around the world, due be responsible for keeping Suna on an even footing with the other villages despite its small size. However, the Kazekage title is sometimes considered cursed, as all the Kazekage, including the current, have met untimely deaths at the hands of assassins; the village's affairs are decided by the Suna Council in the interim between Kazekage. Full-bodied statues of all the former Kazekage are kept in council's meeting chambers.

(6) [The Fourth Kazekage] of Sunagakure was(is) Rasa. Renowned for his ability to use Gold Dust, Rasa's reign as Kazekage was marked by his frequent quelling of rampages by the One-Tailed Shukaku, which he had sealed into his youngest son, Gaara.

For the early years of his life Gaara struggled to keep the One-Tail in check, and would unintentionally attack the village and/or its citizens when he lost control. The Fourth eventually decided that Gaara was a failed experiment and tried many times to have him assassinated, each of which failed. The attempts on his life, however, taught Gaara how to control the One-Tail, making him into the weapon his father wanted him to be and convincing the Fourth to call off the assassinations.

(Father of the Year, ladies and Gentlemen!)

(7) [Kekkei Genkai], or Bloodline Limit,is an anomaly of the DNA that allows the wielder to use unique techniques. A kekkei genkai's name describes both the anomaly and the resulting technique. Most kekkei genkai are passed down between generations of a clan, an exception being Hashirama Senju's Wood Release. Likewise, most individuals only inherit one kekkei genkai, but Mei Terumī is known to naturally possess two.

Author Notes

Well then, that's the first chapter for you—albeit a highly weird way of a introduction. But fear not as this was merely the abridged and very vague summary of our Protagonist's background.

Next chapter we will see our MC in all his average glory, training to become the next God of Shinobi as well as his interaction with some characters from Canon like Kankuro, Temari and more!
