I am sorry to all who wish to read Witch of the Elemental Nation, but for a while I had a story in mind that I was surprised no one had thought of, or at least wrote it, this is also a SI story and I hope you enjoy it.

We live our lives, both unaware of what for, and what we are meant to do, if there is a purpose in the first place, most people in the past convinced themselves there are gods and destiny, or perhaps they did exist but simply stopped responding.

What is death? Many have wondered what exactly that means, all know that death means the end of life, some believe it is also a new beginning, reincarnation, some think there is judgement in the end based on how you lived is where you go.

Some don't even believe there is anything after it, that it truly is the end, well, in my case, I initially believed in the third one…

State your three wishes…

...but i realized it was in fact the first one

I stood there, unaware of what to do, should I answer?, should he believe in the three wishes?, he was disturbed by the never ending void in front of him, by the voice that seemed to be nowhere but at the same time everywhere.

For who knows how far, all he could see is the void, the utter coldness of it, but as if it was embracing him.

He couldn't smell anything, and other than the voice, he couldn't hear anything, he wasn't wearing any form, he should've felt uncomfortable, which he realized, his emotions having been immensely dulled.

State your three wishes…

And for the past...he didn't even know, a minute?, hour?, perhaps even years?!, he had for some odd reason, lost all perception of time, he didn't even have a body,...wait, but he could have sworn he felt it a mome-...a week...an hour ago?

What the hell was going on, he felt alarm, before a huge wave of calm washed over him, jhe stopped feeling alarmed, he was incredibly confused in thi-

State. Your. Three. Wishes

The voice was starting to sound more and more aggressive, his memory was in disarray, he could barely remember anything, not even his name, but he logically didn't want to know what would happen if he didn't answer.

He couldn't speak, so he hoped his thoughts would do, "I wish to have infinite potential in the Mind, the Body, and the Soul,".

While this didn't sound all that good, he also didn't have any idea where he was going, so he made sure two things happened, because of his wish he had guaranteed that he would have a body, a soul, and a mind.

He also made sure he would have potential to the point nothing would hold him down, from bodily defections to his soul not being able to handle something, whatever it is, and that his mind always has room to grow.

This was the best thing he could hope for at the moment, all things he wanted he would make sure he had, before anything else, he suddenly noticed an explosion of light come out in front of him, and was increasingly coming closer and closer to him, until it consumed him.

At that moment, all he knew, and for some time more, all he knew was the darkness

Where am I?. his head was pounding, his memories even more scrambled, all around him, he could only see darkness, he waited to adjust to the dark, with every minute he saw more and more.

He was in the cave, it was cold, as if piles of white snow were covering him, he felt massive amounts of weight on his neck and on his hands, all of them tightly wrapped around his neck, he had no clothing, but his undergarment.

He looked at himself, as far as he could tell he was a human, or at least in a humanoid form, he had no items on him, looking around he was in some kind of cave,...and he was not alone, he was in an area with dozens of different beings, some were humanoid while some looked plain alien.

Looking at his body all he could tell was that he was around eleven to fourteen years of age, others he saw wrinkles, which could identify their age, but it could easily be just part of their race's characteristics, he saw creatures that looked alike and sort of looked like gremlins.

Another looked like a bipedal frog, one looked actually like a human,... if you cut the size in half, she seemed very short, had orange hair that braided down to her chest, she also had this weird golden gat face necklace.

Another one looked like a helmet shaped rock with legs at the bottom, to the far corner was a light bluish grey...male?, he had a golden neck ware, he can only assume it was some sort of decoration, and from the looks of it, trying to look menacing,...with nervousness can be seen.

The one next to him was a nearly bald male, with a long beard, pupils cannot be seen and at this moment seemed to notice him observing him, and smiled.

"Why hello there my boy, how did you sleep, you didn't look so well when they brought you in, can't imagine those manacles being comfortable to sleep in," he said, in a comforting and kind, at that moment he seemed the warmest thing in this cold cave.

Now that he mentioned it, every single one of them, including him, were wearing iron manacles, the rock thing had a big one around it in the middle.

Now looking closely he can see an...elf?, but with dark purple skin and long silvery hair, so a dark elf?, his mind flashed him an image and brief info about it, he seemed to fit that description, but something in his mind was whispering that he was wrong.

Deciding to answer back to what seemed like the kindest person here at the moment he spoke back, "I believe I slept fine,...where are we?," he asked, his voice sounding dry, perhaps from the lack of water.

The kind man raised an eyebrow, "what is the last thing you remember," i tried to thing of the last thing i know,... other than bits and pieces of information,...he can't seem to remember anything.

"As far as i'm aware...nothing," i replied, sounding quite confused at my predicament, the old man now had both of his eyebrows raised.

"...that is quite a situation you have going, do you at least remember your name?" having one of his large hands rubbing his beard, at my shake, "hmm well that will simply not do...hmm we will have to either wait for you to remember or give you a new one,".

He took his hand down to his lap and sighed, "now unto where we are, well we are in the Underdark, more specifically in the slav-" just when he was interrupted they heard the sound of a iron grinding against stone and squeaking of an opening poorly oiled door along with .three set of footprints walk in the caves.

At the sides he saw two more of what he assumed were dark elves, both having numerous scars on their faces and their necks, both of them were male, at the center was a female dark elf, wearing some sort of dark armor with a face in the middle.

She also was carrying a staff that apparently had three tentacles at the top, and at the lower half of the armor formed into a sort of silken garmont with armor underneath, all together she gave off an impression of a priestess, to which deity he had no clue.

"Welcome to all who are new, from now on remember, your freedom is not yours anymore, it is now mine, which you may only call me either Mistress or Mistress Ilvara, accept your fate, learn to obey, and you may survive," she said this with a cruel smile.

You knew at that moment, you were not gonna like her, of what seemed to be a cruel woman, and even as she left, I didn't feel anywhere near safe, and at that moment I knew, I became a slave.

He went to sleep, and felt the familiar void, but this time, it felt quite different, more...what's the word?, down to earth, it felt like I had a connection I could go back to, he was once more naked in his new body.

He thought back of all he learned, of him realizing he has been enslaved, gaining common knowledge, at least to the Underdark, of this land, from drow, who were what the dark elves were called, to several areas in this world, from the old man named Buppido.

All of a sudden, a silver screen appeared in his view, which then he heard a voice, sounding powerful, and somehow old.

Class Selection: Fighter, Bloodhunter, Rogue

He was honestly not sure what was going on, all he knew was that little by little he was gaining back his memory, from what he understood, Fighter will give him the most health and several other weapon understanding.

Bloodhunter,... he didn't at the moment care to bleed himself to death, so that was an automatic no go, perhaps later on, but not now.

Rogue was also a good choice, but he had no weapon at the moment and didn't give as much durability as the Fighter, seeing as the choice he made right now is to be more durable he picked fighter.

Selecting the Fighter, a whole bunch of other screens opened up, all having numbers beyond count, after a minute or so, they all disintegrated into tiny pieces of light.

Fighter : Selected - Fighters share an unparalleled mastery with weapons and armor, and a thorough knowledge of the skills of combat. They are well acquainted with death, both meting it out and staring it defiantly in the face.

Six Rolled Numbers confirmed

Please place them in the order desired

Str -

Dex -

Con -

Int -

Wis -

Cha -

...Based on the few memories I have, that was an incredibly good roll, the lowest being 3 and the highest number being 18, I almost rolled two 18s,...this is a good start,...and bit worrying about my luck, perhaps this is a warning that I will be needing it?

While I am extremely paranoid about the "God of Gods", but at the moment, I can't do anything about it, so I'll just roll with it.

Ok, first off, more Health, more chances of survival, I also made sure to give myself one of the +1 from variant human into Con, while the other will go to Dex, that way I will maximise my durability and agility while placing the 18 in Con and 17 on Dex.

All the 13s went to Str, Cha, and Wis, as far as i remember, most of the time, the Wis save is the most common, while also increasing my awareness through Passive Perception.

At the moment, I really don't need myself stuttering, looking weak, or anything of the sort because of low Cha, I also need to know who I can trust, the bearded guy, Buppido, may seem nice, but I am not claiming that I can read people the best so my best choice was to pick Insight with Variant Human.

To maximise my Con which at the moment is only nineteen, I chose Tavern Brawler, not only does this give me an ability to not only to increase the nineteen to twenty, but also gave me the power to use literally anything as a weapon, and my fist do a whole lot more damage.

With Haunted One, I decided that Arcana and Investigation were a lot better than Religion at the moment, I really didn't need religious knowledge when he could find things and decipher magic easier.

As for Languages from it,...well I figured Dwarvish would come in handy, seriously doubt something like Loxodon will be useful here, as for the Exotic, I think Primordial would be the best since that's basically four languages in one.

While I didn't like Heart of Darkness much, I do believe that will be useful in the future, and now that I can look at my new self,...wow.

While it was unsettling having a new face, I looked quite...exotic, pure white hair and eyes, while I was extremely pale, I looked almost like a changeling, except they had more milkish eyes.

I was around 5"5 feet tall, around average, seeing as the character bio says im twelve years old, and not to sound narcissistic, but damn, I look good, and this is only 13 Cha...ya I'm gonna let that stay that number for now, I don't need pedophiles on my tail.

Now looking at my stat sheet,...everything looks good, 14 Ac, 17 Hp, d4 punches and prof. On improvised weapons, I do believe I have prepared everything, now it is up to me, with everything filled other things like my name and such.

As soon as he closed the last screen, everything faded as he realised he was beginning to fall into a deeper sleep.

Four Days Later…

After four days, the only thing he could find was a gold coin, just one, not terribly great, sure it's worth 100 copper, which are basically pennies, but it is worthless here in the Slave Pen.

He has gotten to know some of the slaves here, Buppido, being the obvious first, the twin gremlins, Topsy and Turvy, lie at this moment.

"WhatDidYouDoForYourTask?MeAndTurvyHadToForSomeReasonLineUpRocksForNoReasonIThinkTheyJustOrderedUsToDoItToWatchUsSuffer, yes Turvy?," for the past hour I had to endure this, I think I have a headache.

Thankfully her brother paused her by tapping her shoulder, he usually mutters in a dark tone, and as far as I'm aware it isn't actually a language, but Topsy for some reason knows exactly what he says since he never corrects her.

"Skcf eke jdjr eidmre," Turvy mutters, in his usual dark tone, Topsy gets a look of understanding, and turns back to him, maybe he said to slow down.

"Sorry, this is the first time in the whole day that i'm speaking, I guess i had a whole bunch of words build up inside," she says, a bit apologetic tone in her voice, while she was scratching her temple.

I waved her off, as far as I'm aware she is the social twin while her brother is the antisocial one, honestly he wasn't complaining, he didn't think he could handle two of them.

"It's alright, and as for your question,...well they made my group mine rocks,...which seeing as that was a pointless thing to do that was also for their amusement," he sighed, very much annoyed and irritated at the pointless tasks.

It has been four days since he has been brought here, as far as he was aware, there were more than fourteen drows, dozens of quaggoth, and he even heard rumors of there being trained spiders.

Sometimes at night when he wakes up, he sees around two or three drows in the tower that can be seen from the gates that keep the slaves in the caves, and from the gossip he has heard from older slaves here, no magic works while in here.

And what's worse?, he has this deep feeling that deeper in the Underdark is something even worse than the drows in here.

Crash

Turning towards the sound he saw an orc punch someone in the head at the center of the area where they worked, which seemed to trigger a fight with numerous people around.

Though it wasn't long before the drow noticed and shooted what looked like a dart at him, at that point, I was not sure what was gonna happen, since apparently doing something wrong would be life threatening since people who haven't joined the fight looked fearfully.

1 Day Later...

He also met the rock stomp, which actually acted more like a child, perhaps it was, "What do you think will happen to him?" a scared voice called out to him, or more like thought of, as the voice sounded like it was coming from his mind.

At this current moment all the prisoners were gathered in the front of the iron gate,...with the orc who stated the fight was tied up outside of the Slave Pen, there was a large amount of drow standing there,...I can also tell that they were trying to hide a smile.

...How I did that I was not sure, seriously, I was not really all that good at reading faces, especially these poker faces, is that insight proficiency skill at work?

Still if the drows are smiling, then more than likely that something gruesome or/and Horrifying is about to happen...were they gonna shove him off the cliff?, would explain why he was placed so close to the edge.

"I'm not sure, my best guess is something to do with height," I reply, not really keen on telling him,...although based on what I just said that doesn't really matter, but I don't actually want to say it to him.

'Mistress' arrived into view, this is my second time seeing her, but barely, in this lighting all I could really make out is the guard tower side wall, cave walls and a giant web.

"We are gathered here today, to demonstrate what happens if you dephy us, or otherwise cause us any sort of trouble and what happens to those that do just that," I could once more see she had that cruel smile on as she turned around and kicked the orc in the chest.

The Orc not expecting the kick stumbled and fell down...oddly I didn't hear any noise that would indicate a landing, was the bottom really that high?, even if there is a waterfall I could make out somewhere it didn't really stop me from hearing.

All it did was instead of every little thing being an echo it would just sound the same if you were in a room, at the moment I wasn't sure what happened to the orc...for a few seconds.

Was that hissing?, and he could swear he heard some sort of movement, though it sounded really strange, I could also see the web was vibrating.

At that point I felt my stomach drop and it only grew as soon as the orc started screaming bloody murder,...which after a while it stopped.

...Well at least the spider rumor was correct, not that it made me feel any amounts of satisfaction, it was just another obstacle for me to plan around.

I felt someone tap my shoulder, I looked and saw a drow looking at me, a horribly scarred drow, he was also missing a few fingers, as well as remembering that this was the guy that brought the 'food', but that wasn't important, what was important was what he was saying.

"If i could give you the means to escape from here, would you take it?"

By a stroke of luck, I have found my means to escape from here, now the question is if I would be able to survive it.

Honestly liked this, I think i might write some more of this, any way if you find something lacking plz mention it, thx
