Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight or any of the characters.

Summary: Caution! Do not enter if you can't handle terror. Don't bring your kids. Don't bring your grandparents. And most importantly, don't come alone. You will cry. You will jump. And most importantly, you will scream. This is your final warning!

Chapter 1 – Entering

The only sound I can focus on is the eerie creaking of the loose floorboard beneath my bouncing leg. It becomes increasingly louder the longer I wait. If my mother was here, she'd slap me into next week.

I'm not even sure why I'm so nervous. Alice told me it was basically a shoe in if you have a good work ethic and a good attitude. If need be, they'd teach you everything there is to know and help you craft your skills to what they need. She'd done it before and absolutely loved it. Somehow, she wrangled me into this.

"Hello, you must be Isabella. I'm terribly sorry about the wait. My brother and I had a few things to discuss before he headed off to work," he greets me with an extended hand. I quickly rise from my seat and give him a firm handshake. "I'm Masen Cullen. It's wonderful to finally meet you. Alice has told me many things about your talents."

Masen's the head of the organization. He looks to be in his late forties or early fifties. His brown hair is cropped closely to the head and his brilliant green eyes have a mischievous side to them. Then again, working in this business I suppose one has to have a little devil in them.

"It's nice to meet you too, Mr. Cullen. Please, call me Bella."

He let out a low chuckle, shaking his head. "Then call me Masen or Mase. You yell out Cullen here and you have about a dozen heads turning your way. We're not that formal around here. Come on, let me show you around."

It isn't much to look at yet, but he shows me around and tells me all about what everyone has planned. He vividly describes each area, allowing me to visualize everything in graphic detail. He's a great story teller, and I can only imagine the sick stuff that he imagines then creates. That alone makes my heart beat faster in terror.

"It's still very early, but in a few months, you'd never know this was barren land."

"I believe you, Masen," I say, spinning in a little circle taking it all in. "Don't you want to ask me any questions or put me to the test to show you my abilities?" We've been walking around the land for close to half an hour now and he has yet to actually conduct an interview of any sort.

He motions with his hand for me to follow him again. "As I said earlier, we're not that formal around here. You go to college with Alice, right?"

"Yes, we actually rent an apartment together off campus."

"Alice has already shown me some of your work in addition to the photos you've sent me in the initial emails. This is not only a great opportunity for you as a college student, but also a person. I know you'd like to be on our makeup crew, but if you'd be open to acting too, you're more than welcome to do that too. I see you fitting in seamlessly, Bella, and if you're still interested, we'd love to have you on our team."

The prospect of this in full swing in a couple months still has my heart racing, but I desperately want to add this to my resume.

"I'd love to be on your team, Masen."

A brilliant smile overtakes his face. We stop in front of the building I was originally waiting in. We turn to face each other and Masen holds his hand out.

"Welcome to Field of Screams then! You're going love having a hand in the scares and terrors we offer!"

If I don't die from it first.

So, I'm back. Here's a little fun Halloween story written primarily during quarantine. This is prewritten except for one small scene at the end. 13 chapters, end date expected sometime in the beginning of November. Mostly Friday or weekend updates until we hit mid-October then it gets a little weird.

This is based on a real attraction called Field of Screams from my home state of PA. I have visited the attractions before, but more about those later. Hope you enjoy this little journey!
