Hey everyone! I haven't forgotten about this story and I love seeing the reviews from people who are discovering it for the first time. Even today I still like listening to the playlist I made while writing this story and recalling so many scenes and characters in it. While I don't have a sequel in the works, there is a spiritual successor.

My newest story, Soul Circuit, follows a similar premise as My Iron Giant. This story takes place in Neon Genesis Evangelion, and has a mechanical based Eva whose origins are as mysterious as Izuku's robotic abilities in My Iron Giant. This Eva that I named Covenant (I almost named him Monolith) can even be seen as if Izuku's soul at the end of this story was reincarnated into this new character.
