A/N; I'm trying to make myself a better person. So far, I haven't published one full fanfic this year. So, I'm finishing this little random bit before the end of the year!
To the inhabitants of the castle, "I'm going to murder you!" was a phrase so frequently bellowing down the halls that it didn't manage to knock anyone down when Lily Evans came shouting through the boy's dormitory.
It was no secret that only the girl's staircase turned into a slide, much to the delight of James Potter and the blonde haired Gryffindor laying in his bed.
The sound of Lily's padded feet still managed to echo across the hall. Huffing and puffing, she banged a fist on the door. Waiting only a second, she shoved the door open, only to be met by Sirius Black pushing her back out.
"Ah Lily dear! You really must calm down! It was really only a prank, and when you think about it, the little git really did deserve it-" Sirius was cut off by a smack from Lily.
"Get your hands off my breasts and move over," Lily glared. Sirius offered a sheepish smile.
"You didn't see the sock on the door handle, did you?" Sirius smiled, pulling a hand through his tangled hair.
"You are," Lily struggled for words at the revelation of new information. "Despicable! You know Severus didn't deserve that! Tell James when he's done with whoever that being a prat isn't going to make him popular."
Sirius raised an eyebrow. "Lily, have you ever thought that after all the prat, by which I mean Snape, has done to you, he might deserve bright blue hair?"
"When will you ever learn two wrongs don't make a right," Lily huffed off in the other direction, red hair blazing a trail of fire behind her.
"It's muggle math, I thought you would've known! Two negatives make positives. It's elementary!" Sirius called down the hallway.
Lily didn't waste her breath or time by leaving her middle finger up in the air as she continued down the boys' staircase.
