Deep within the libraries of the Southern Base, Touma and Rintaro were continuing their search, but with no success. "Walking large distance in short times, Fusion of two objects, Strike hard objects easily, Gyaru in culture today…" Rintaro slammed the book he was reading shut and threw it to the floor. "It's worthless. There's nothing on reversing transformations in here either. We've been through 7 sections and found nothing."

Touma put his hand on his friend's shoulder. "We can't give up. Even with this knowledge having been lost to time, someone must've recorded it at some point. We just have to figure out where he or she stored it."

They left the "g" section and moved onto the "h" section. But before either of them could look in detail, they were interrupted by the arrival of Reika, who was holding their two seiken. "The Master wants me to kill you."

Elsewhere, at the Northern Base, Yuri and Sophia both felt the same thing. "A Megido… in the library?"

Within minutes, both Yuri and Daishinji had made their way to the library, throwing the door open. Inside, the Neko Megid was in the middle of a ritual. "Ura rah Negata. Ura rah Negata."

"Mei-san!", Daishinji called out. "What are you doing?"

Yuri was confused. "Wait, that's Mei-san? I thought…" Then he had a realisation. "Of course, something was off in the corridor. I should've realised it then."

"Well you didn't.", the cat monster gloated. "And now, because of you, I have returned to my true body and disposed of that woman. Now I am all that remains."

"In that case," Yuri pulled out his X-Sword Man Wonder Ride Book. "I'll have no qualms about smiting you in the name of justice." He inserted the book into his Saikou Driver, doing likewise with the Kin no Buki, Gin no Buki book and his Kogoken Saikou. "Henshin!", he stated as he slammed the two together.

Saikou Hakou! Get All Colour! X Sword Man! Episode 1: Full Colour de Sanjou. Babababang!

The Neko Megid merely laughed at this. "You may try to smite me, warrior. But you'll have to get past my siblings first." The Altar Ridebook which she was now linked to began to glow, as more figures spawned from it and an announcement blared through the air.

Awaken, the litter of cats that serves as a herald for the false prince!

Now there were multiple versions of the Neko standing in front of them. One that sported a much larger face and wore a black skirt made of fur, one that had a much fatter body than the others, one that had a hand with long, razor-like fingers and one that had a set of long tusks sticking out of its chin. "You should know that cats tend to travel in packs.", the one with the skirt, who had a much more feminine voice than the original, stated.

"And we tend to be protective of our clan members.", the fatter one, who had a high-pitched male voice, added. "Right, Nee-chan?"

"Enough talk.", the one with tusks, who had a deeper male voice, bellowed. "Let's gut this fool here and now."

"My sentiments exactly.", the one with the razor fingers commented as she clenched her normal fist. "Let's go, Saikou."

As the two Swordsmen fought the four newly-spawned Megid, the original took out a key, one that had been entrusted to the woman she was spawned from, and went further into the library. "Time to see exactly what the Mistress of Northern Base was so keen to hide from everyone.", she noted as she slipped out, unnoticed.

At the Southern Base, Ryouga was spying on the conversation going on in the library from outside. Master had grown suspicious of his younger sister's intentions, so Ryouga was now keeping an eye, or rather an ear, on the proceedings. "If you'll allow me, I'd like to join you and the other Northern Base swordsmen. The true Sword of Logos." Hearing these words coming from his sister's mouth caused Ryouga to react.

Inside, Touma put his hand on Reika's shoulder in assurance. "Don't worry, we'll stop whatever the Master is planning together. That's a promise."

As the three turned around to leave, with Reika having pointed them to the boom they were looking for in the "r" section, Ryouga walked in to block their way. "Why haven't you disposed of these two?", he asked, his voice not changing as he did so.

"I'm sorry, Onii-san.", Reika said as she bowed her head. "Recent events have given me doubts about Master Logos' true intentions being pure. Our family has sworn loyalty to the Sword of Logos, but the Master has turned his back on the creed this organisation was founded to uphold. So, I must renounce my service."

"So it's settled.", Ryouga decided. "The three of you will all be put to rest by my blade." He took out his Ocean History book. "Henshin!" He inserted the book into the Jikokuken Kaiji, transforming into Durendal, the Swordsman of Time.

Kaiji Gyuakai! Toki wa...toki wa...toki wa toki wa toki wa toki wa! Warenari! Ocean History~! Ocean Basshān!

"It's three of us against one of you.", Rintaro pointed out. "We've got you outmatched."

Durendal scoffed at this. "You seem to forget, you two Northern Base traitors gave your Seiken to us earlier."

"Oh, did we?", Touma asked as he and Rintaro pulled out their Brave Dragon and Lion Senki Wonder Ridebooks. They opened the books, causing their swords to appear in hand, placed inside the Swordrivers built to tap into their powers more efficiently. "We figured there'd be some double-crossing before we got here. So we had Daishinji create copies of our Seiken, while the real ones were left behind."

As Durendal growled at this, Reika looked at the two and, for the first time in what felt like a millennium to her, smiled. "How clever. Now then, let's get out of here." She took out her own Eneiken Noroshi and pressed a button on the side.

Noroshi Muchuu!

Smoke filled the room, blocking out Durendal's vision long enough for everyone to be gone. "Nice try, sister.", he commented as he removed the blade from his sword and inserted it the other way around.

Kaiji Masshou!

Time reversed partially, going back to before Reika could pull out her sword. He then turned the blade around again, allowing him to knock the three back.

Sai Kaiji!

He then took the chance to slash at the three, with Reika managing to block the hit only narrowly. "I had hoped to end this without violence, Nii-san. But you're leaving us with no choice."

"If that's our only choice, then I'll take it.", Rintaro declared, still sore over his previous near defeat at Durendal's hands. He inserted his King Lion Ridebook, pulled his sword out and pushed the lever on top down, allowing him to assume his King Lion DaiSenki Lion Mode.

Nagare Houkou! King Lion Dai Change! Sore sunawachi hougeki no senshi! Sarani wa Lion Henkei!

Blades fired at Durendal, knocking him back a few feet. Reika looked at Touma, as if looking for reassurance that they were allies now. "Let's go, Saber.", she said as she pulled out her own Konchuu Dai Hyakka book.

"Okay.", Touma nodded as he inserted his own Brave Dragon book into his belt, with the two swordsmen initiating their transformations simultaneously. "Henshin!"

Rekka Battou! Brave Dragon! Rekka Issatsu! Yuki no Ryu to Kaenken Rekka ga majiwaru toki, shinku no tsurugi ga aku was tsuranuku!

Noroshi Kaisen! Flying! Smog! Sting! Steam! Konchuu Chuu Dai~hyakka~! Tayutau Kissaki!

Now transformed, the three swordsmen began their fight with Durendal.
