A/N: Most characters and the main plot belongs to J.K Rowling.

I'm sorry that I didn't post a chapter last week, it's just that with being in higher education (I live in France, so it's called differently over here, so sorry if I got that wrong), I have trouble finding the time to write anything. I was hoping to have much more time, but I didn't expect my timetable to be this full, nor did I expect the amount of homework I've been getting. Once again, sorry, I'll try finding a little more time.

It was a few days later, and Harry was beginning to stir. He was aching all over, and trying to open his eyes seemed like so much effort. It felt like he had dropped 30 meters without any protection at all. When he eventually opened his eyes, he noticed that it was pitch black. It took him a little while to remember why he was in the position that he currently lay. As soon as he remembered everything, he had an urge to get up, and go see if his friends were alright. He attempted to get out of bed, but the attempt was foiled by Madam Pomfrey entering the room from her office.

"Ah, Mr. Potter, it's good to see you up. Do you feel any pain, or head aches?" She asked.

"I feel like shit." Harry replied groggily.

"I understand your situation, Mr. Potter, however, that is no way to speak." She admonished him in return. Harry just shrugged in reply. "Now, where does it hurt?"

"Everywhere." Was the short answer which came out of his mouth.

"Very well, well, drink this." She said, handing him a pain potion. He quickly guzzled it, and the potion took effect almost immediately. The pain began dissipating slowly, but it was definitely leaving him, at least for a while. "Now, Mr. Potter, I must insist that you do not perform any magic for the next two weeks, you will also visit every couple of days, so I can give you a check over."

That wasn't what Harry wanted to hear, but he nodded nonetheless. After receiving the permission to leave, he swiftly made his way out, hoping that if he left quick enough, he wouldn't receive any more orders from the matron. It was the middle of the night, but Harry wasn't feeling tired in the slightest, which, to be fair, wasn't exactly surprising, given that he had probably slept a couple of days at the least.

He was slowly making his way around the castle, when he heard a noise from behind him. He instinctively pulled out his wand, turned around, and went to point it at the person, but they engulfed him in a hug. Harry looked around quickly, searching for a clue as to who it was, but he knew it wasn't any of his friends from school, as this person was much taller than them. That's when he looked at the cloak, and he immediately recognized him. It was Sirius. He quickly hugged the man back, and immediately relaxed into the embrace.

"How are you, Harry? You gave us all a good scare back then." Sirius asked as he pulled away. Concern filled the man's eyes, and he seemed to be looking over Harry, searching for any sort of injury, knowing full well that he had just left the hospital.

"I'm fine Sirius, just a few pains spread around my body, but they've calmed down a lot, thanks to Madam Pomfrey's potion. And I'm sorry for scaring you, I'm not quite sure what happened." Harry replied.

"Well, after you arrived in the Forbidden Forest, you got attacked by a huge horde of acromantulas, and you seem to have used too much magic, and entered magical exhaustion. You were out for a few days, and then I receive a floo call from Dumbledore, where he told me that you had been convulsing earlier, but that you would be fine now, and that you would wake up in a couple of days. But the oddest part, was when he told me that while you were convulsing, your magic was doing something weird. It seemed to be fighting against itself, well that's what he told me, I've never heard of that happening, and neither have they." Sirius finished explaining.

"Well," Harry began, a little nervously, "there was something that happened while I was in there, but I don't know if it was just a dream or not, but it would explain my magic, at least I think it would."

"What was it?"

So, Harry went on to explain to everything that had happened in his mind. Sirius seemed to pass through many moods: pride, scared, impressed and absolutely fucking terrified. Once Harry had finished, Sirius opened his mouth to speak, but no sound came out. Harry chuckled at this a little.

"But Harry, you fought Him, and you beat him!" Sirius said, both in confusion, and happiness.

"We'll talk about it later, when the others are here, I don't fully understand it either, and I'm sure Hermione can come up with a few possibilities." Harry said. Sirius seemed to agree with that, and so, Sirius began explaining what Harry had missed, which wasn't much, but he did go over the duelling club quickly. Apparently it was a huge success, and it would be happening again soon. Harry just hoped that it would be after the two weeks of him not being allowed to use magic.

The two of them went down into the kitchens, and sat there with a cup of tea each, until it was time for Harry to go up to his dorm for a shower. He decided to forgo the running for today, he wasn't feeling particularly up to it right now.

When he came down from his dorm after having taken his shower, he spotted Hermione walking out of the common room. He decided to surprise her, and so, he followed her out. She was walking with her nose in a book, something which didn't really surprise him that much. He slowly crept up behind her, and once he was close enough, he picked up his wand, and made a cannon-blast sound, completely forgetting Madam Pomfrey's instructions to not use magic. Hermione let out a scream, one that he wouldn't expect her to make, and she turned around, a glare in place on her face, and her wand pointing at Harry. Once she saw who it was, she let out a little "Harry!" in surprise, and any thought of scolding him seemed to be forgotten, and she ran towards him, and embraced him in a hug.

"What are you doing up? You're supposed to be in the hospital wing healing, not scaring me half to death!" She said, trying to show some anger at him, but that just seemed impossible right now, she looked more relieved than Harry had ever seen her, and he appreciated that very much.

"I was released this morning, and I decided that I wanted a shower, and when I came down, you were on your way out, so given that you weren't paying attention to your surroundings, I thought that it would be a good idea to scare you." Harry replied with a smirk. Hermione just saw fit to huff in response, and together, the two of them made their way to the Great Hall.

"You scared us all, you know, but none of us were as scared as Daphne, she looked like she had lost her soulmate." Hermione told him when they were at the bottom of the main staircase. A smile crept onto Harry's face at that, knowing that people cared, and it grew when she mentioned Daphne, a little coat of red colouring his cheeks.

"Sorry." Harry mumbled. Once they arrived at the door to the Great Hall, they were just about to walk in, when they heard a girl shout "Harry!" The two of them turned around, only Harry didn't manage to see much, as he already had a girl wrapped around him at the very second he had turned around. At first, he stiffened, but then, he recognized that smell, and he knew where it came from. His arms made their way around the girl who had enveloped him, and he felt complete, as if what he had gone through was entirely worth it, but he didn't know why. He had considered the fact that he may have a crush on Daphne, but he had quickly thrown that thought out of the window, because honestly, why would he have a crush on the girl?

On Daphne's part however, she was brimming with happiness. When she had first seen him, it was like time stopped for a couple of hours, she didn't know if she was imagining things, but then she saw the smile on his face, something that seemed to light up the whole entrance hall, and at that point, she knew that it was actually him. She had barely been sleeping recently, too worried that Harry wouldn't make it. It was relief beyond anything she had felt, and the feeling of his hug only improved that feeling.

None of them knew how long they stood there holding each other, but they didn't want to let go. They didn't notice Hermione and Tracey walk into the Great Hall, or even hear Tracey say "It's good to see you" for that matter, they were just content to stay the way they were.

That was until, the blond ponce decided to ruin everything. "It's a shame to see you out, Potter, we were all praying to see you gone." He said, his two goons and the other Slytherins by his side, laughing. Daphne was about to respond, but Harry made sure that she didn't do anything.

"I've got this." He whispered in her ear, and she nodded against his chest. Harry pulled away from the hug for a bit. "Ah, Heir Malfoy, a pleasure to see you again. I just thought that it would be wise to remind you who your mother is, and who my godfather is, it might not be wise to taunt me." Harry said, his voice cold, devoid of any emotions.

Malfoy looked confused for a couple of seconds, before what Harry said, registered in his brain, and he became pale, so pale that he might have died from blood loss. The rest of the Slytherins were about to laugh, but when they saw the look of horror on Malfoy's face, they quickly put it behind them. Parkinson was about to insult Harry, but Draco put his hand up, silencing her. Harry was surprised to see the pug shut up for once. "Of course Lord Potter, I owe you an apology, it was very foolish of my part." He said, although it looked like it pained him immensely to do so. Everyone around looked up at the self-proclaimed 'Prince of Slytherin' in surprise, and their looks went over to Harry, an impressed expression on their faces.

The Slytherins quickly scurried away. Harry was shocked that it had worked so well, he had expected the look of horror, but not the apology. Daphne looked at him, surprised that Harry would threaten with such things, she knew exactly what had been said, and if Draco pulls something on Harry, that could mean the possible end of the Malfoy fortune. Harry grabbed her hand, and led them both into the Great Hall, whispers about what he had just done already spreading.

They joined Hermione and Tracey, who had decided to sit together, at the Ravenclaw table. Harry received some 'Welcome Back's, which were appreciated. They both took seats opposite the other two girls, the two of them still holding hands, something which Harry hadn't even noticed, but Daphne had, but she wasn't going to complain. The other two girls seemed to have noticed, and both sent smiles at Daphne. Hermione immediately began going over the lessons Harry had missed, which made the other three laugh, and by the time she had finished, Neville was walking over to them.

"Hiya Harry, good to see you up. How are you feeling?" The boy asked as he hugged who he considered a brother in all but blood.

"Aching a bit, but nothing I can't handle." Harry replied with a shrug. "Later, we need to go see Remus and Sirius, I've got something to tell you all." They all nodded, and continued with breakfast.

Later that afternoon, they all met up in Dumbledore's office. Harry had decided that it might be best to let him into the loop too, as he was the most knowledgeable person he knew. The others agreed with him on that front, if Harry had a problem, and it wouldn't be something small, otherwise he wouldn't talk about it, it would be best to have the best people around.

When Sirius and Remus arrived, they both gave Harry a hug each, and they all took their seats. Harry went over what he had explained to Sirius that very morning. All of them, except Sirius, who still looked impressed after Harry had told him for the second time, looked at Harry with a similar set of emotions crossing their faces as Sirius' did that morning.

Once Harry had finished explaining, there was complete silence in the room, one could hear a pin drop if it did. Dumbledore was the first to break that silence after 30 seconds. "That would explain your magic seemingly fighting itself, you must have still contained part of his magic, some of which wasn't fully released when the Horcrux was removed." Dumbledore said to himself, nodding his head as he did. Harry silently agreed himself, with a nod of his head. Daphne had been clinging to Harry's hand since earlier, it was like they craved each other's touch.

"There's something else. When I was in my mind, and I first found Voldemort, he was mumbling something, I couldn't understand it at first, so I got closer, and when I did, the only things I could make out were something about a locket, a diary, a cup, a diadem, a ring and a snake. I don't know if this means something to you headmaster, but I thought it might be interesting." Harry said, and Dumbledore looked at him curiously, although Harry wasn't sure if he was actually looking at him, more looking in that particular direction, but not focusing on this world, he was probably in his mind, figuring things out, seeing if he had anything mentioning these things.

Dumbledore seemed to leave his daze. "Interesting, I will have to have a look into it, but I might have a lead already. Now, I believe that we should call this the end of this meeting, I have been summoned to the Ministry for something." So, with that said, Everyone left the office, Sirius and Remus going back to Potter Manor, and the others going to the room of requirement.

A/N: Once again, I apologize for last week, and this week is only a short chapter, but I'm trying to find my rhythm with school, and then I'll try finding more time for the story, but I have my priorities. Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed the chapter.

Replies:

Once again, I apologize if there are any grammar mistakes, but I didn't go to school in the UK, so everything I've learned is thanks to my parents, or what I've learned myself.

I've noticed many reviews about Harry's shares in companies, so I am going to remove them and just keep Nottingham Forest in, because that's the local football/soccar team.

You'll see probably in the next chapter why Harry had to go through what he did in the last chapter, but part of the reason was said in this one, and the consequences will be noticed.
