In the small Detroit suburb of Royal Woods, there lives a family of thirteen. This family consists of a husband, his ten sons, his Mamono wife, and his sole Mamono daughter...wait...WHAT?!

Okay, let's go back a few millennia to understand how all of this started. In a nutshell, God created Adam to rule over Earth. However, Adam was lonely...until he met an echidna named Lilith. Lilith was a Mamono, a race of all-female, human-like demons. The two became man and wife, and lived happily ever after.

Now where was I? Oh, yes…this family of thirteen are known throughout the Detroit area as the infamous "Louds of Royal Woods." They are, as their surname suggests, to be a very loud family. Their patriarch is Lynn Loud, Sr., an aspiring chef and proprietor of a family restaurant. His wife, Rita, is a were-rabbit who works as an assistant at the local dentist office, but dreams of becoming an author. She currently has a story in the planning stage about a boy rabbit who lives with his twenty-five sisters.

Lynn and Rita have eleven children, whose ages range from as old as eighteen to as young as two. The oldest is Loki, a golfing prodigy who is attending college at Fairway, one of the best golfing schools in the country. When he's not golfing, you can always see him on his smartphone, communicating with his grizzly girlfriend, Roberta Santiago, whom he affectionately calls "Bébé."

To most, 17-year-old Loni Loud can be best described as "having a head full of hot air," but he's actually more of an autistic savant. He's very skilled in designing clothes, and can handle all the roughhousing from the younger siblings.

Luke Loud, 16, has had a love for music for almost all his life. Ever since he saw his first rock concert when he was seven, he was hooked. He dreams of jamming alongside his idol, Mick Swagger, and occasionally will speak in a British accent. Presently, he's happily jamming in a band called the "Moon Goats" alongside his bisexual partner, Sam Sharp.

If you were to pick up the latest high school yearbook and go to the superlatives section, you'll find Lane Loud, age 15, under "Class Clown." Lane is a practical joker; he loves telling them nonstop, even when his family can't stand them. He also dabbles in ventriloquism and has a puppet named Mrs. Coconuts. Though he's toned it down recently, a word of warning: don't be around Lane on April Fool's Day, as he takes the pranking to dangerous levels!

Lynn Loud, Jr., age 14, is the most athletic of the boys. He's the captain of several varsity teams in middle school. He tends to go overboard whenever he's faced with even the tiniest bit of competition and is also a bit superstitious; always having some sort of pre-game ritual for luck.

Nine-year-old Lars is your standard goth poet who loves vampires and the macabre. His entire world is black (though sometimes, it could be a very, VERY, dark grey) and that's not just because his bangs cover his eyes. Unbeknownst to his family, though, he's a closet brony who likes reading "Princess Pony" novels in the dark. ("Sigh...even I need a break from the darkness sometimes," he'll mutter.)

Though they may be identical twins, seven-year-olds Leif and Lexx are as different as night and day. Lexx, who's into acting, likes to be squeaky clean; Leif, on the other hand, likes to get his hands dirty. The two are often at odds with one another, which more often than not leads to fisticuffs.

Five-year-old Levi is without a doubt a super-genius. He's won several academic awards, including a Nobel Prize! However, he tends to be cold and uncaring ("I have no need for something so trivial as human emotions!" he'll say with his trademark speech impediment), but he's always there for his family if they need help with their homework.

Leon Loud is the youngest, who turned two a few months ago. He's just started preschool, so the sky's the limit for this toddler!

Last, but certainly not least, there's Linka Loud, a 12-year-old were-rabbit. Linka has several hobbies, ranging from playing video games, reading comic books, and performing stage magic. She's always there to help her brothers with their problems. She's actually the second-smartest in the family, and is known to be a very good strategist...even if they sometimes blow up in her face. ("Make the plan, execute the plan, expect the plan to go off the rails, throw away the plan," which are words she lives by.) Most people would lose their minds if they were the middle child in a family this large, but for Linka, she wouldn't trade it for the world.

This concludes the first chapter of my very first Loud House fanfic. To be honest, I have no clue how to go forward from here. I'm out of my element when it comes to The Loud House. If you have any suggestions, please leave me a comment, and I will get back to you.
