Something I got from when I played Life Is Strange: True Colors recently. The Scooby Gang, Team Angel, Charmed Ones and the Winchester brothers are all friends here and Prue is alive here and Paige is also around here.
Thank you to Aragorn II Elessar for the suggestion of a song.
Disclaimer: I do not own Buffyverse, Charmed or Supernatural.
The Scooby Gang and Faith Lehane, Team Angel and Dean and Sam Winchesters were in P3 in San Francisco owned by their friend Piper Halliwell of the Charmed Ones as they observed Dean on stage singing, with Oz as one of the guitarists as everyone applauded, while he was singing 'Brother' from NEEDTOBREATHE.
Everyone burst into cheers as Dean bowed. "Thank you."
Dean then approached their booth as Sam looked touched. "Thanks, Dean. That meant a lot."
"Pity there's not a 'Sister' song." Paige noted.
"Can you imagine?" Phoebe laughed. "'Sister, let me be your shelter. Never leave you all alone.'"
"I have to say, you have a strong aura and you've got a rocky road, my friend." Lorne said. Luckily everyone oblivious of his demonic side was convinced he was a LARP.
"So, would it have been possible for your demonic side or for Kyra to be able to read others by listening to them sing?" Piper asked Cordelia.
"Oh, I so don't want to find out." Cordelia said uncomfortably.
"Who is gonna perform next?" Buffy asked.
"Maybe I could—" Angel started.
"NO!" Cordelia, Wesley, Gunn and Fred said at once.
"Hey, I'm not that bad." Angel said.
"See, this is why I'm better than you. I'm a better singer." Spike cracked as Angel fumed and was about to get up before he and Spike noticed the glare from Piper.
"No fighting or I'm gonna blow you both up." Piper said as Spike and Angel sat down, having the decency to at least look calm but they still shot each other short glares.
"Hey, it's Oz!" Willow pointed as the Scooby Gang and Team Angel cheered for Oz.
"So, there's a guitarist and a drummer, but who's singing?" Tara asked as everyone looked at each other with a smirk before turning to Tara. "Guys? Why are you all looking at me like that?"
"I hate you all." Tara muttered under her breath as she was on stage at the mic.
"We didn't want you to wuss out." Piper said.
"Wussing out is highly underrated. We haven't even practiced yet!" Tara protested quietly.
"Just sing whatever comes to your mind, we'll follow your lead." Oz encouraged.
Tara took a deep breath and nodded, picking the mic. "Hello. I… didn't even know I was gonna sing here, so I didn't get a chance to prepare anything but… I might have a song in mind. Anyway, sorry if I suck." She turned to Oz, lowering her voice. "Do you know any 'Backstreet Boys' songs?"
Oz nodded. "Just take a deep breath and sing. We've got your back."
Tara nodded, when the pianist started playing, while Oz started playing the intro and she took deep breaths before turning to the Scoobies. "This one's for my friends and for one person that is very special to me."
Willow smiled, giving Tara an adoring look.
"Maybe we could prepare dinner later for everyone." Buffy said, turning to Piper.
"I could help." Prue said.
"You sure?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah. It's gonna be fun." Prue assured.
"Oh, I gotta show you our Mom's recipe later." Buffy said as Tara began singing 'As Long As You Love Me' as the Scoobies and Angel clapped their hands.
"You got this, Tara!" Xander yelled as Tara smiled, gaining more confidence as she started to shake slightly and smiled at Willow, who felt touched and blushed.
"She's got good future ahead of her." Lorne said as everyone felt relieved and started to clap to the rhythm, encouraging Tara further, who got caught fully into her performance as she grabbed the mic, singing the chorus of the song.
"I don't care who you are
Where you're from
What you did
As long as you love me"
"Yeah!" Buffy clapped her hands.
"We love you too!" Dawn exclaimed.
"Way to go, Tara!" Dean said as Tara smiled.
"Who you are
Where you're from
Don't care what you did
As long as you love me"
"She's really special with a lovely voice, is she?" Phoebe asked.
"Sure is." Willow said.
The crack at Prue and Buffy and Piper and Cordelia getting along is a crack at Shannen Doherty and Sarah Michelle Gellar and Holly Marie Combs and Charisma Carpenter being close friends in real life and couldn't resist a crack at Charisma's role as Kyra, the Seer.
