He was wearing blue today.

She noted this absently as she sucked on a Sugar Quill, silvery eyes darting up from her copy of The Quibbler to watch the infamous Trio before reading the exclusive interview that the alleged 'Loch Ness Monster' had given. Apparently, Nessie was really a sea-dragon that opted to stay in its birthing place instead of migrating, as was custom…

He looked rather good in blue, she decided as she stood up and began to walk to her first period class, her sequined pink bag thumping rhythmically against her thigh. The color brought out his eyes and made his hair seem more copper than red. Personally she thought he was rather charming in a boyishly nervous way…

She went through her class as per usual, ignoring the calls of "Loony!" since a true lady never acknowledged an insult. At least, that was what her mother had taught her years ago…

She drifted into her room and stretched out on her bed, humming "Weasley is Our King" absently as she drifted off for her regular afternoon nap…

Later, as she walked towards the Great Hall for dinner, someone collided with her. Someone wearing blue…

She sighed and got to her feet smoothly as a familiar voice said apologetically, "Aw geez, I'm sorry!"

"Don't be," she said vaguely. "I'm fine."

He blinked at her with navy eyes and she reached out, fixing his collar with one hand as those eyes widened in surprise. "You look good in blue," she said to him as she dropped her hand and walked past.

"What do you mean by that?" he demanded causing her to pause and look over her shoulder.

"You are dense aren't you?" she said languidly. "I like you in the color blue Ronald. It brings out your eyes and makes your hair look nice…"

With that, she turned back around and entered the Great Hall, leaving a stunned Ron Weasley behind…

The next morning, she looked up briefly to see Ron sitting down at the Gryffindor House Table, wearing a dark blue jumper. His eyes met hers for a brief moment and as a blush rose in his cheeks, Luna Lovegood sent him an approving smile.

After all, he looked good in blue.
