–October 31st 1981 Godric's Hall–

The Dark Lord Voldemort made his way down the path of the Potter's cottage in Godric's Hollow, now clearly visible to him thanks to his spy Peter Petigrew. There were no security measures beyond the basic Fidelius and he could only scoff at their stupidity: they were in the middle of a war after all. James Potter was sitting in a chair just inside the front door when Voldemort blasted it open and the fool didn't even have his wand to hand. "If only I could kill him," Voldemort thought to himself as James yelled at Lily to run upstairs. Alas, he was a man of his word and had promised Severus that he would spare Lily Potter. While that didn't necessarily mean James was exempt, Voldemort knew that only sparing Severus's friend would cast suspicions on his spy so it would be safest to keep them both alive.

"Stupefy!" Voldemort yelled, knocking out the unarmed man, shaking off the strange feeling of using the unfamiliar curse and following Lily up the stairs.

So Lord Voldemort made his way upstairs searching room to room until he found the one he was looking for inside was the matriarch of the family along with 2 cribs containing the Potter twins Harry, & Julius Potter, one of these two could be the one prophesied to defeat me, or that Longbottom child. Sending a quick Stupefy to Lily Potter to put her to sleep for a while Lord Voldemort makes his way to the cribs & notices the details carved into them

It was hard to find the nursery although he was a little surprised to see two cots inside. Sending a quick stupefy at the distraught mother, Voldemort wandered over to inspect the children. One of these two was prophesied to defeat him, or the Longbottom boy, although Voldemort had serious doubts about that one.

On the right side of the room was a Maple cot with frolicking animals carved along the side, specially a stag, a Grimm, a wolf and a rat. There was also a sun carved at the head of the with the name Julius carved around it. Voldemort looked inside at the brawling child. There didn't seem anything particularly special about him but then, Voldemort had rarely had time for very small children and usually for good reason. The child had unruly brown hair and dark green eyes and was currently screaming loud enough to put a banshee to shame. It was beyond annoying and Voldemort had no problem casting stupefy on the child, if only to stop that infernal crying.

Now that he had peace and quiet again, Voldemort walked over to the other cot, this one made out of Chestnut wood with almost the same carvings except there was a crescent moon instead of a sun with the name Harry carved around it. Voldemort looked down at the child and was a little surprised to find a pair of Avada Kedavra eyes staring back at him. This child looked a little smaller than the other one and had black hair instead of brown. It wasn't crying though, despite the Dark Lord's altered appearance thanks to all of the dark magic he had been using recently. Instead it just stared at him curiously, as if trying to determine whether he was friend or foe. It was that lack of fear that made Voldemort sure that this was the child destined to defeat him, not that it would matter after today.

"Avada Kedavra!" Voldemort yelled.

Instead of the spell hitting and killing the child, a barrier formed around the child, reflecting the curse back at Voldemort and destroying his body. The force of the curse dislodged a piece of the Dark Lord's already fractured soul which entered the child, leaving a small mark beneath his hairline. Voldemort's wand also went flying, hitting the other twin in the face. The residual magic in the wand left a jagged scar over the boy's right eye, deep enough to scar but not blind the boy.

Dumbledore arrived an hour later fully expecting to find James and Lily dead and was surprised when he realized they were only unconscious. He revived James and the pair rushed to the nursery to find an unconscious Lily, two sleeping babies and a pile of ash. James went to revive Lily as Dumbledore checked on the twins to see if there are any clues as to what might have happened. Harry is sleeping peacefully with no visible scars from the incident so Dumbledore turned to Julius only to find the child curled up around the Dark Lord's Yew wand, sobbing away, the new scar over his eye bleeding slightly. A quick scan of the area reveals traces of dark magic in the wound which piqued Dumbledore's curiosity.

"Harry, Julius are they okay"? Lily asked with a gasp from her husband's arms having been woken up.

Dumbledore looked from the parents to the child thinking of his next course of action. He knew Tom wasn't completely gone because of the Horcruxes, but maybe he could give the wizarding world and the couple some false hope. Putting on his grandfather persona he lifted Julius up.

"It seems that when Voldemort came to attack Julius here he managed to send the attack flying back defeating Voldemort here and now, making Julius the first person ever to survive the Killing Curse. Julius Potter is the Boy-Who-Lived. "

After that night it became known that Julius Potter the Boy who Lived defeated the dark lord. Aurors initially tried to arrest Sirius for betraying the Potters and being a Death Eater, but James stepped up and corrected them that it was Peter who betrayed them. Severus Snape was arrested for being a Death Eater (thanks to Karakoff blabbing to get a lighter sentence) but Dumbledore vouched for him within a week and got him out, on the condition he became a spy for him as well as becoming a teacher at Hogwarts. The world seemed to return to normal, but they were unaware of the changes on the horizon.

–Splinter's End 1981–

Having been finally released from Azkaban, Severus was busy trying to fix up his family home at Spinner's End before Dumbledore took any semblance of free time he would have having made Severus both the Potions Master and the Slytherin Head of House although he thankfully wouldn't be needed until the following school year when Slughorn was set to finally retire. It was clear that Dumbledore was planning on keeping him very busy, especially given the list of potions he would be required to brew for the infirmary each year just as standard. He was not looking forward to it and had to admit he was worried about his new 'master'. At least the Dark Lord had kept his word and spared Lily but Dumbledore had never listened to him in school when he complained about the marauders bullying him and he doubted it would be any different now.

He was just settling down for the night when he felt a chill run down his spine and a dark presence fill the room.

"everussss."

The hairs on Snapes arms were standing on end.

"Ssseverus". This causes Snape to jump from his seat and look around. That voice, it couldn't be.

"Sseveruss SSnape"! The voice shouts and Severus looked down to find a wraith of his Master. He Immediately dropped to his knees in a bow.

"My Lord! You"?! He asks, causing the Dark Lord to hiss at him.

"Just Barley, now I kept my promise to you to spare that muggleborn so it's time for you to repay the favor Snape. I need your help restoring my body," Voldemort said getting to the point as to why he was here.

the wheels were turning in Snape's head, trying to figure out how he would do such a thing since he has no clue how his lord was like this in the first place.

"What do you need me to do my lord"? Severus asked.

"Get ahold of Lucius and tell him to bring the book I entrusted to his family to Gringotts. We'll reconvene there."

"Of course My Lord". Snape bowed as he rose to his feet and went to the Floo to call his friend. He then gathered a cauldron in which to hide the Dark Lord's wraith form and made his way to the wizarding bank.

About a half hour after the Floo call that gave Lucius Malfoy a heart attack much too early in his life he's now standing in the lobby of Gringotts, when he should be sleeping. Waiting on Severus who claims to have the dark lord with him, he knew his lord would return one day but not this soon.

After about 10 minutes of waiting Severus came into the bank with a cauldron in hand approaching as he approached Lucius raising his eyebrow wondering where their lord was. Noticing his confusion Snape motions down to the cauldron for Lucius to take a look inside, when he does he pales even further at the sight of what their lord has become.

Lucius was already waiting at Gringotts when Severus arrived, looking more haggard and more disheveled than Severus had ever seen him before and Severus could only imagine the fright the man had had earlier that night. Severus could well understand. They had all assumed that, despite the announcement of his demise, the Dark Lord would return; they just didn't think it would be this soon. The blond aristocrat raised an eyebrow at the cauldron Severus was carrying and then turned pale when he saw what was inside.

"Oh my Lord I'm so sorry for what has become of you I swear we'll help you return to your former glory". Lucius said, bowing to the Caudron.(not capital)

"Thank you Lucius now, take me to the counter so I can talk to Naggrot,".

Commanded the Dark Lord, and the two make their way through the bank, putting the Cauldron on the counter when they reach it so their Lord could talk to the goblins directly.

"What can Gringotts do for you today Mr. Dark Lord"? The teller asks only raising an eyebrow at his strange appearance.

"I need to see Naggrot about a ritual to restore my body". Commanded the Wraith.

"I understand. If you wait 5 minutes he'll be with you shortly".the teller said before looking at Severus & Lucius, "& your companions? Will they be joining you today"?

"Yesss, they can be trusted". InsistedVoldemort.

It thankfully wasn't long before they were led deep into the bank to Naggrot's office.

"Hello, what can Gringotts do for you today"? The goblin said in greeting.

"I need a Ritual from you to restore my body for me. I would do it myself but the Goblins are the best ritualist in the Wizarding world". Voldemort admited, making Naggrot raise an eyebrow

"Indeed and how did you get into this state originally? We cannot perform any rituals without knowing what kind of magic you've used to get into this state"? Naggrot inquired, although he was giving the book in Lucius's hand a pointed look.

"My body was destroyed when an Avada Kedavra was magically bounced back at me when I tried to use it on Harry Potter. thanks to a magical barrier that appeared in front of the brat My own spell destroyed my Body and the only reason I'm still here is thanks to the Horcrux I created". Voldemort explained honestly, making Severus's & Lucius's eyebrows raise albeit for different reasons. Secerus's because he'd heard of Horcruxes before but he thought they were myths and never thought anyone would be crazy enough to make one.

Lucius was surprised didn't seem to be as concerned with that. . "Wait, Harry Potter defeated you? Dumbledore's been telling the world it was the other twin, Julius Potter, who defeated you".

Voldemort laughed. "Is that what the world thinks? Well don't bother correcting anyone, they won't believe you plus we can use this to our advantage. Now," he said, turning back to the goblin, "can you help restore my body?" Naggrot

"Of course we can," Naggrothuffed, "but it will cost you". He reminds the lord.

"Of course, you can just take it from my vault with a magical signature scan". Voldemort relented love to haggle but this was one of those things you need to pay at face value.

Nodding at this Naggrot grabs the Cauldron containing Voldemortthen grabs the Diary from Lucius before walking out of the room. Just before closing the door he turned to the wizards in the office.

"Just wait here we'll be an hour or so & have some refreshments brought for you while you wait".

1 hour 10 minutes Later

It had been a little over an hour and Lucius was starting to lose his patience. They were supposed to be back 10 minutes ago! Just as he was about to stand up & demand to be brought to the ritual chamber a female goblin opened the door & bowed to them.

"The ritual is complete if you would please follow me". She says before walking away not waiting for the pair.

"How rude not to even wait for us before walking away". Lucius grumbled as they hurried to catch up with her.

"Quiet Lucius! the Goblins are not ones to make enemies over something so petty, don't forget they're in charge of a Majority of the magical world finances", Severus hissed. Lucius just crossed his arms and huffed in response.

Soon after a couple of minutes of walking they've been led to a grand pair of doors that have all the universal symbols of healing inscribed on the door, as the female goblin knocks on it.

They soon came upon a pair of grand doors that had all of the universal symbols of healing inscribed on them. Severus and Lucius arrived just as the goblin was knocking.

"Come in". Naggrot's voice calls from within and the female goblin stepped aside to let Lucius & Severus enter the room.

The first thing they notice when they were inside was all the items scattered about on the floor: the Diary, a ring, a locket, & a cup. The next thing they noticed was the young man who didn't seem much older then them, appearing to be in his late 20's and wearing a simple, plain black robe. He had pale skin and wavy brown hair. He was also sculpted to look like a greek statue from his perfectly straight roman nose to his perfectly arched eyebrows & thin lips. In fact the only thing that resembled his former self were the ruby red eyes. .

"My Lord". Severus gasped, bowing down in recognition. . Lucius realizing he's right quickly followed suit, making the Dark lord chuckle.

"Lucius, Severus, please rise. ou are my friends, there is no need to treat me in such a matter andplease just call me Marvolo " Lucius and Severus frowned slightly at the man's strange attitude.

"Marvolo then," Luciussaid cautiously. "May I ask what happened to you? You look different, & are acting a bit…"

"Less insane?" Marvolo chuckled. "Yes I will admit there has been much more clarity to my thoughts now that I'm restored to my former self. Why don't the two of you sit down & join me? Naggrot is about to explain what happened". He gestures to the bench beside him,anf the two wizards take a seat.

"What happened to you? You mean besides being a massive idiot?" Naggrot ranted."You went too far by creating so many Horcruxes. When you make one you split your soul in half . so every time you made one you lost more of your soul and you lost more of your sanity and your appearance along with it. When I realized what you had done I used the Diary Horcrux as a magnet of sorts to magically summon all of your other Horcxruxes here to restore you to the best I could. For some reason, though, going on the results of the scan I made, all but two of your Hoxcruxes made it back here. Now the only reason this could happen is if one is located in another dimension or in another living being". Grinhook explains while reading his scans he took when he first entered the room.

Lucius and Severus were shocked to hear what had happened to their lord. Just how many of his actions would he have made if he were sane and how many of them were because of the numerous Horcruxes he made? Marvolo on the other hand was now understanding why he deviated so far from his original goals but was confused.

"Wait two Horcruxes are missing? I'm looking around at the items in the room and only the Diadem isn't here but that would be because it is in a special room at Hogwarts that it can't be summoned from"? He asks confused, making Naggrot smirk

"I'm sure you'll find it eventually, but now is there anything else you need my help with or are we done for the day"? The goblin asks as Marvolo thinks. The route he had gone down the last time couldn't have been further from his goals. What happened to helping creatures rights, restoring the balance of magic and becoming a teacher? But then he remembers something he had started on after his failed job interview for the DADA position at Hogwarts.

"Actually there is something you can help me with. Luffy"! He called & in a blink a house Elf appears in the room.

"It has been many Moons since Master Slytherin has called on Luffy! How may Luffy help Master Slytherin today". The House Elf asked looking positively glowing at being summoned to help

"Luffy, go to my castle and grab the special binder in my office you know the one". Marvolo ordered and the elf popped away, only gone for about 30 seconds before appearing again, this time with a very heavy binder which he handed to Marvolo.

"Thank you Luffy you may go". Marvolo smiled as he looks over the binder. It had been many years since he last looked at this. "Lucius, Severus, is an old plan of mine and I think it's finally time to bring it to life but I'll need your help with it". He puts the binder on the table for them all to see it has the word Harmony on the front.

"Marvolo what is this"? Snape asks in confusion making the Dark lord smirk

"This Severus is Project Harmony".
