Naruto's Impala rolls up to a red light as his phone goes off.

"Hello?"

"You on your way over?" Shikamaru asks.

"Yeah, I'll text you when I arrive." He answers as he looks to his left and sees a group of kids waving for him to lower his window. "Hold up. What?"

"We go at green." The kid in the driver seat says, his buddy in the passenger seat points his phone at him, so Naruto nods.

"If you say so." The light turns green and the front end of the Impala lifts up a good foot or so as it quickly speeds away, leaving the cocky kids shocked at the light. "Anyways as we were."

"Listen, Kadoya said he's got some friends who're going to be there. So you know what that means."

"More cars, more cash."

"Bingo. See ya." The two hang up as Naruto pulls up to a gas station. He looks at the gas price and shakes his head. He puts about 30 into the tank and pays with his card before heading in, and as he does, he holds the door for a couple of teenage boys. They thank him and he nods as he waltzes in and looks over the choices of drinks. He grabs a large water bottle and some hot chips before heading to the counter.

"That it?"

"Yeah."

"What's the car you're driving?"

"64 Impala. Just put a new engine in it."

"Well those kids you held the door for are trying to use your car to get girls."

"Thanks for the heads up." Hey pays with cash and heads to the Impala.

"Yeah, it was my grandpa's car, my dad and I just fixed it up and he let me have it." One of the two boys says, getting one of the girls to grab on to him.

"Hey, nice ride." Naruto says as he approaches the kid and his car.

"Thanks."

"What's under the hood if you don't mind me asking?"

"Oh uh… I don't remember."

"Well I got a 64 like it back home, it has a 405 big block. Start her up, I might be able to tell."

"Oh um, where are my keys?" Naruto uses this as his que to get into his car and start it up, scaring the kids.

"By the way, it's actually a LT1 from a 15 stingray." He shouts as he drives off, giving himself a shit eating grin. He arrives at the park where Shikamaru is waiting.

"We have a problem . One of Masamune's boys got pinched at work."

"Who?"

"Tobi, the white haired one, one of his coworkers called the cops on him after he came back from lunch."

"Shit, has he got bail yet?"

"No clue, Masamune just got a call from his folks. They blame him, from what I heard." As on que, the green 98 Toyota Supra flies by, with a squad car behind it.

"Oh shit."

"We gotta get to Eddy's garage, tell him what's going on." They hop into their respective cars and take off. Once they arrive at their destination, where Eddy was sitting at the dyno where a gloss orange 03 VW Jetta with a carbon fiber hood, and a purple stripe running along the skirt of the car. "Eddy, Tobi got pinched, and Masamune is in a chase as we speak."

"Fuck, alright. Ed, close the shop door, Sock Head, I'm killing the dyno." He turns the dyno off as Ed closes the doors.

"What's the plan, the meet's tonight?" Double D asks as he steps out of the Jetta.

"I don't fucking know, I need to get ahold of DJ, you guys stay here." Shikamaru hops back into his 63 Corvette and Ed opens the door just enough for him to get out.

"So what now?" Naruto asks as he turns to the three Ed's.

"We hang low until Shikamaru calls or Masamune rolls by." Eddy says as he walks to the customer entrance, turns the sign to show closed and closes the blinds.

"How did you know Kadoya is in a chase?" Double D asks.

"We saw his Supra fly by with a cop behind him, but it looked like he was building a gap."

"We got a car… pink, hold up. It's a Chevy." Eddy looks at them and Ed starts to open the door. "Ed the fuck are you doing?"

"What part of we're closed don't you get?" Double D tries to stop him as the Cobalt SS comes in and Patty climbs out. "What are you doing here Patricia?"

"Can't I have my car looked at. Its tags are coming up, or that's what sis said."

"That ain't stock. I'm a mopar kind of guy and even I can tell you something is different." Eddy says, walking over to the younger Tompson's car.

"I don't know what you mean." Patty says, obviously lying.

"You want to lie about racing, lie to the asshole down the road." Eddy says as he looks around the car.

"It did sound loud. Or louder than it should." Double D adds.

"Straight pipe, no catalytic converter. Pop the hood."

"If you say so." She leans in and pops the hood of the car, and Eddy opens it and tada, it's modified.

"I thought you said you got the NA option?" Ed looks over to the girl who grins.

"I did, but we found a supercharger for it. You boys wanna see something cool?"

"What's that?" Naruto asks.

"See the extra hoses."

"Don't tell me." She hits the button to pop the trunk and they walk over to see a 15lbs tank of NOS brand nitrous.

"Can you hook it up the rest of the way? Maka didn't get the chance to, also it didn't help that Liz doesn't want me racing."

"So you taking part tonight?" Eddy asked, and she nodded. "We'll see what we can do, but not now, we're waiting for word from Masamune and Shikamaru."

"Why, what happened?"

"We'll let the man explain. Ed, door." Naruto says as he peeks through the blinds and in rolls the Supra and Masamune steps out.

"Fuck, don't worry, I lost em, they called the chase off say half an hour ago. Fuck man." He says, breathing heavy.

"Okay, what's happening?" Patty asks.

"Tobi's fucking parents called the cops on me, said I was streetracing. Can you believe that?"

"What would make them think that?" Double D asks sarcastically.

"Really, I could have been locked up."

"But you didn't, and that's what matters." Double D says as the phone rings. Eddy walks over to the desk and answers.

"Ed Boy's Customs, sadly we are closed for lunch right now. Okay, yep, alright thanks, see you then."

"Customer or…"

"We're still on for tonight."

"Count me out then, it's too hot." Double D says.

"We just got your car running after the trans swap." Ed says.

"It's fine, I would recommend the same for you, Kadoya. Cops know your car." Eddy intervenes.

"Yeah, that's the idea, cool if I keep my ride here, if the cops ask."

"We didn't know that the car was being chased, a customer dropped it off and with how nice it looked, we covered it to keep dust off. You're all good man."

"I can give you a ride if you want." Double D offers to help him out.

"Nah, after I knew I was clear, I called a friend who's in town to swing by. Thanks though." As if on que, a car horn goes off, and Naruto looks to see a glossy, almost like a two tone, light blue 04 Dodge Neon SRT4 pull in.

"SRT4, this your guy?"

"Yep, thanks again guys."

"Don't worry about it." He steps out and the five return to looking over the Cobalt. Time passes and Naruto has left, again finding himself at a red light, heading to the meeting spot, when a white Civic pulls up beside him.

"Hey, nice ride." The man in the passenger side shouts.

"Thanks." Naruto responds as he notices a pink Miata pull up behind his 64 Impala.

"I would appreciate it if you looked over here when I'm talking to you."

"Listen you fucking… what the?" He whips his head and sees the passenger side was actually the driver side.

"Type R, you like it?" The light turns green. "Oops, looks like we'll talk later." The Civic, a purple and green Ford Focus, and the Miata peel away. Naruto shakes his head and heads to the empty lot where Shikamaru, and DJ Blades are waiting.

"Is Eddy here?"

"Not yet, why?"

"Gotta ask him a question, I came across a guy in a Civic."

"Okay… and?"

"Type R, and I mean an older model." Naruto says as Ed, Eddy, and Patty pull in.

"What's good guys?"

"You know anybody who drives what looks like a white 98 Civic Type R?"

"Where did you see that car?"

"At a red light."

"Was he with anyone?"

"No."

"Not a Focus, Miata, AE86, or H2?"

"There was a Focus and Miata yeah… why?"

"That mother FUCKER, what did he say?"

"Nice car, but before he could say anything else the light turned green, why?"

"The real question is why is he in the EK9?" Eddy asks. "Unless, oh if he shows his face."

"Ed, what's Eddy getting so worked up about?" Patty asks.

"Eddy, calm down." Ed says, ignoring Patty's question.

"DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN, THAT FUCKER IS TRYING TO TAKE EVERYTHING WE'VE WORKED FOR."

"You don't think I know that, but this is our chance, if you can't beat him, we have your masterpiece, you said it yourself."

"Who the fuck are you talking about?" Naruto asks as if queuing the Civic, Focus and Miata pull into the lot.

"Looks like we'll find out." Patty says, stepping towards Shikamaru and DJ as the four could feel the tension.

"Well, what is the reason for this mini car show, unless we have some real race cars on the track?" The Civic driver jokes as he steps out.

"The fuck you doing here Flynn."
