Koneko POV

"Just why does this happen?" she thought when looking at the familiar figure in front of her. He was looking at her and her ally with an indifferent expression. It is no longer the fake smile he always wore in the old days. But that is understandable, since he likely grew a grudge against them after that incident. He was given the name of Kiba Yuuto, the first knight of Rias Gremory, no he should be the former knight after that incident.

"How are you still alive!?" shouted XXX-senpai, the pawn of Rias Gremory. He joined the Gremory family right after Yuuto and her 6 years ago. He asked the question that all members of the Gremory family had in mind. He should be dead, after he tried to betray them.

She still remembers that night, Yuuto was covered with blood and holding a sword with an angry expression, while XXX-senpai was on the floor, staining the floor with a pool of blood. Rias-sama and Akeno-san tried to stop Yuuto, who seemed to want to kill XXX-senpai, while I was just too scared to move.

XXX-sempai who saw us quickly explained, "Rias-san, Akeno-san, and Koneko-chan, Yuuto is actually trying to betray us! He actually lied about being the failure of the Holy Sword Project! He is actually a spy sent by the Church!"

"No! I actually …" Yuuto tried to explain, but XXX-senpai interuppted, "Stop your lies! You are trying to kill me for knowing your secret!"

Although Rias-sama and Akeno-san were not sure what to do, Rias-sama asked, "And how can you prove he is a spy from church?" This may not be a secret, Rias-sama is more likely to believe the words of XXX-senpai since their relationship is better than Rias-sama with Yuuto, since XXX-senpai treat everyone nicely and are willing to help with our problem if we ask.

"I may not have proof now, I overheard his conversation talking with someone who seemed from the church over the phone! He destroyed it the moment he saw me, and attacked me. So I retitate, but I ended up hurt more since he has much more combat experience than me," said XXX-senpai.

"Just why do you do this Yuuto?" asked Rias-sama, clearly saddened by this information. Akeno-san too, since this could clearly look like what happened at first glance. Before most of us could react, a sword appeared out of thin air and flew toward Rias. XXX-senpai able to react in time, and took the attack.

"""XXX!""" all of us shouted at the same time with this unexpected development. A sword appeared out of thin air, that is the ability of Yuuto's sacred gear, Sword Birth. Guess what XXX-senpai said is true, Yuuto really betrayed us. Rias-sama and Akeno-san were in combat mode as the doubt from before was cleared. I too, readied my stance to engage him.

"Please listen to me! I ..." Yuuto tried to explain, but we ignored him, since the evidence was clear. We keep attacking him despite his plea, and now he is lying on the floor. I think all of us held back, despite him clearly betraying us.

"Everyone, let me do the final blow," said XXX-senpai who was trying to walk towards us with his injuries. "You guys clearly cannot do it, since he has been with you guys for so long and bonded with you guys. But since he is clearly a spy from church, and even tries to kill Rias-san, he clearly does not deserve sympathy."

That was what happened that day, Yuuto was given the final blow, and we discovered XXX-senpai's sacred gear. It was unheard of, apparently it was able to allow XX- senpai to take the sacred gear of others. However, XXX-senpai did not misuse it. He only took Sword Birth from Yuuto, and by chance took the Boosted Gear from Issei-senpai who was killed by a fallen angel a few months ago. That was how he now gained the power of the Red Dragon Emperor by accident, and helped with many incidents like saving Rias-sama from her Riser and saving Kuoh from Kokabiel.

"Just what is your goal, Yuuto? Revenge?" asked Sirzechs-sama who just snapped me out of my flashback.

"My goal, you asked?" said Yuuto, "It will be the destruction of this lostbelt." He just said something weird, what is a lostbelt?

"What is this lostbelt you speak of?" asked Azazel-sensei who is interested in the term he used.

"My bad, what I mean is this world. No matter what, I will destroy this world, to ensure Pan Human History survives!" Yuuto declared, with a determined look on his face now.

Yuuto POV

"Just why did this happen?" I had been asking myself. After being treated as a failure and disposed of, only I survived from being killed after Rias-sama saved me. I thought to myself, "I will avenge my fallen comrades", while I will serve Rias-sama as her knight. I joined after Akeno-san, making me the 3rd member of Rias Gremory's peerage. Later, Koneko-chan, Gasper-kun, and finally him, XXX. To think XXX was a wolf hidden in sheep clothing. I thought we might be able to get along as comrades in arms.

That night, XXX called me and invited me to go out of the garden to talk. I accepted it readily, without knowing that my life will be turned upside down for the second time. The moment we were outside, he finally revealed his true colour. He talked about how I was a hindrance to his harem life after his reincarnation. After much ranting, he then bragged about the cheat he obtained, which apparently was able to steal other people's sacred gear. He demonstrated it by using it on me.

That moment, I felt like my heart had forcefully ripped out of me. Then he gleefully bragged about how he now had my Sword Birth, by making a sword out of thin air. Disbelief, I tried to make a Flame Sword like always, but failed. I tried to make other swords too, but ended up in failure too. Taking advantage of my confusion, he slash me with the sword he made.

Snapped out of confusion, I quickly grabbed the sword and used it on him. Since he just joined, he lacked experience to combat me. However, due to bad timing, Rias-sama, Akeno-san and Koneko-chan came out from the mansion and only saw me with the sword while the injured XXX on the floor. I tried to explain, but XXX kept interrupting me.

Then it happened, a sword appeared and headed to Rias-sama, and XXX shielded her. At that point, nobody believed in me. XXX staged this all, just to make them distrust me. Rias-sama. Akeno-san and Koneko-chan tried to attack me. I know they were holding, since if they wanted, they could just kill me on the spot, but they did not. I did not try to fight back, and I got hit until I lied on the floor. Then, XXX suggested doing the final blow himself, which likely to silence me. I felt rage against him for framing me and killing me off like he was righteous.

After he pushed the sword into my heart, my vision went blurred, and finally black is all I can see. I felt my body was floating in space. Not sure how long I have stayed this way, but I finally heard a man's voice.

"Do you have any regrets?" the voice asked.

Regrets huh, of course I do. I die before avenging my fallen friends, then there is XXX who killed me just because I was a hindrance to his harem. The voice who seemed to hear my thought, continued, "Do you want to have a second chance in life?"

Second life? What does he mean?

"There was an irregularity that appeared in the world a few years ago. This irregularity may cause the world to become different from what is already predetermined. When the world is strayed from what should be happening, it will create a parallel world and if it remains, it will destroy the original world when it gets stronger. I want to avoid the original world from being destroyed, but my action is restricted since I could not destroy the world myself. There is a force that does not allow the world to be destroyed by being born there. Thanks to you, I already identified the irregularity, and a parallel world is formed. If you accept the deal, I will reincarnate you into another world, but in return, you must return here to destroy this world."

Reincarnate? I think XXX talked about something similar, and something about cheat.

"Yes, the boy XXX is a reincarnator, and he has caused the world to move in different directions and created a parallel world. I cannot do something like give you a cheat people always talk about in light novels. All I do is just throw your soul out randomly outside the dimensional gap, while you just wait to be reborn and get a second chance in life."

The voice talks a lot of stuff, but my eight years old brain could not process it.

"Just do not think too much. I am just trying to find souls and reincarnate them randomly to different worlds after I found out a parallel world is formed. You just happen to be the first one. It is not like world or dimensional travelling is easy. And I am guarding the entrance to this world. The irregular was able to bypass me when I was not looking, which is my fault. I could not find him soon enough, and this happened. Just enjoy your second life in the new world, and if you happen to be able to travel back here, I will need your assistance to destroy this parallel world."

So will I be reborn again? And if I reincarnated in another world? Does that not make me similar to XXX? Which I will be the irregularity and may cause the world to be destroyed like what XXX did?

"I do not care about that, my goal is to destroy this world, that's all. I do not care about what happened to the other world."

After the voice said that, I think my body got blown away, and I got reincarnated. I was born to a couple, with my new father being Japanese while my mother was European. Ironically, my name in this world is Kiba Yuuto, the very same name given by Rias-sama.

In this world, humans are no longer influenced by Gods or other supernatural beings, as what they dub, the Age of God has ended. Now is the Age of Man, but it seems this world still exists supernatural stuff. Magus, a user of magecraft is the example of this. My family is a magus family too, though they do not care about it, so do I.

Time passed, and I was recruited by Chladea due to having rayshift compatibility when I was thirteen years old.. However, it seems I lack master compatibility so I end up being a staff instead. For three years, I worked along with other staff in order to observe and preserve Human Order. Could it be my guilt? Since I was an irregularity in this world, and the world may be destroyed due to my presence. Maybe that was why I stayed as a staff in Chaldea, rather than returning. Throughout the three years, I made a lot of memories with all the people there. However, my most memorable memory happened to be my saddest memory.

"Stop it Dr Romani, where you think you are heading!" I barely shouted due to my injury. We have been ambushed, never thinking of the possibility that the demon pillar will target us, rather than the master and servant in the front line. I barely escaped death, but that could not be said for others. Admit the chaos, Dr Romani, my second father figure, was walking to the rayshift chamber.

"I am just doing what I must do, Yuuto-kun. For the future of Human Order," said Dr Romani.

"It is dangerous out there! What can you do in the fight between servants and Beast!?" I asked, desperate. I do not want him to go out there, for it is dangerous, yet I let two people as young as me, Fujimaru and Mashu, to be in the front line out there. How hypocritical am I?

"Do not try to stop him, Yuuto-kun. He is resolved to do this, and I think you should respect his wish," Leonardo Da Vinci stopped me. Smiling and without talking much, Dr Romani just went into the rayshift chamber and rayshift to the final singularity, the Grand Temple of Time: Solomon. After that, it was revealed that Dr Romani was Solomon all along, and he erased his existence, even from the Throne of Heroes.

"Just why?" I thought to myself? Dr Romani, willing to bet his life, just to pave a future for humanity. How about me? Am I just living just to have revenge on XXX? No, in my sixteen years in life, I never thought about that. And for the past 3 years in Chaldea, I have been trying to help to observe and preserve Human Order. Now that I think about it, that is what I did in my first life too. Training swordsmanship from Souji Okita, and hope to destroy the excalibur which I deem as the root of my revenge. Following the sacrifice of Dr Romani, I resolve to preserve the future entrusted by him to us. At least that was what I thought, since trouble comes after we finally restore Human Order.

Following that, five pseudo singularities and bleaching of Earth happened. In order to help out Chaldea more to combat the lostbelts, I had volunteered to be a demi-servant, just like Mashu. That was how I joined the rank of frontline along Fujimaru and Mashu. The battle was tough, and it was dangerous, and to think they have been doing this throughout the singularities, my respect for them deepens. We have solved six lostbelts and Tunguska Sanctuary. When we are almost ready for the seventh singularity, a new lostbelt was found in Japan.

That lostbelt just appeared, and yet it is more threatening than the lostbelt in South America. We tried to reach that lostbelt through Imaginary Number Space using the shadow border. On the way, we saw a giant red dragon guarding in front of us. While most of us despair at the moment since the reading of that giant red dragon, which has reading on par with the Beast, I heard a familiar voice.

"You came back. Never though you will be out of all the soul."

I see, you are the one who sent me to the other world.

"Yes, and I assume you are here to destroy this world?"

Yes, of course. I want to laugh, to think I will be destroying this world, no, this lostbelt not out of revenge but to preserve Pan Human History. For the happiness of that world, this lostbelt must be destroyed.

"I see. Also, let me tell you the truth, destroying this world will lead to the destruction of your soul. The reason is your soul is linked to this world, so destroying this world will mean your end."

I see, that is something to think about later. For now, I will focus on doing the deal on my side first. Also, thank you for reincarnating me to that world. Thanks to you, I know family love and met many comrades and people. I really appreciate the second life you gave me.

"..."

Soon after, the red dragon who named itself Great Red moved and opened a ripple and flew into the lostbelt, which we follow suit. Then I truthfully told everyone about myself, being a reincarnator, and the situation of this lostbelt being a world where the Age of God is yet to end. However, we do not know what caused this lostbelt, until we detected grail in this lostbelt. Somehow a grail was manisfied and we tried to retrieve it.

Some servants were detected in a city called Kuoh, and we tried to determine whether they were allies or enemies. Then, I saw something that seemed impossible in my old life, devils, consisting of Sirzechs-sama, Rias-sama, Akeno-san, Koneko-chan, Gasper-kun and XXX, fallen angels working together to fight the servants. Servants who detected Fujimaru as the master while Mashu and I were servants, focused on us instead. After defeating the servants, I heard a familiar voice.

"How are you still alive!?" shouted XXX, which really confused the devil sides, since I was surely dead that time.

"Just what is your goal, Yuuto? Revenge?" asked Sirzechs-sama.

"My goal, you asked?" I said. Guess in their eyes, I might be seeking revenge for what happened to me. However, I doubt they will believe what I said, though my action is not far off from revenge either, to which I replied "It will be the destruction of this lostbelt."

"What is this lostbelt you speak of?" asked the fallen angel, which helped me recognise my blunder.

"My bad, what I mean is this world. No matter what, I will destroy this world, to ensure Pan Human History survives!" I declared. No matter what they think, my goal has not changed. To ensure Pan Human History will be saved, even at the cost of my life.

Just sharing an idea on what I had in mind. This is a oneshot and I doubt I will write more about it. Since I don't know how to write a proper story, I just write the important points down. I even thought of having Yuuto travel to One Piece world, trained a few years there and learned haki before going back to DXD world, but I doubt I will write. Thanks for reading.
