Last time: with a short nod towards each other, took off towards their home.

Naruto was slightly worried that how will they overcome future challenges that their special situation will bring. A slight smile and cooing from the infant in his arms was enough to brighten him up and he pushed all the worries in the back of his mind and he again was focused on his way back to Konoha.

CHAPTER 4:

Oh FUCK!!!!!!!!!!! Our heroes reached the hidden leaf outskirts just in the estimated time period. Slight sweat was forming on Naruto's forehead while on the other hand, Ino was panting heavily, given they ran ridiculously for 5 hours straight.

"We should take a short break, there is still time before the patrol duty change, half an hour of rest would suffice ", Ino stated in between pants. He agreed with her, as they were an hour early before they can even sneak in konoha with the little man, who was surprisingly asleep throughout the journey and he was thankful about it.

While resting her back against a tree, Ino turned her face towards Naruto who seemed like in a deep process of thinking and after a minute he suddenly opened his eyes, startling Ino, and asked her," umm.. do you know where Uzumaki compound is specifically located?".

She shook her head in annoyance and replied," No you idiot, remember you only gave me rough location, not the precise address".

He scratched his neck while nervously saying," sorry, I forgot. Well its located to the North-east of the Senju compound, just keep walking in that direction and you will find it very easily cuz, the main gates are etched with huge crests of the clan. But, you have to wait outside, as I have to deactivate some traps and some seals ".

She frowned at the latter part of his statement but nodded nonetheless. She suddenly got an idea," Naruto, let me hold Haku, and you unseal the BABY CARRIER BELT, I will wear it on my back and in this dark they will certainly mistake it as a backpack".

That idea seemed viable and much risk free to Naruto and he complimented her while giving the Taijutsu Duo's 'nice guy pose'," Yosh, Ino-chan that idea is brilliant, let's do this in your way". Ino beamed at the praise but shuddered when Naruto's monologue reminded her of Rock lee and as enthusiastic Guy sensei.

"it's time, Naruto", Ino informed him and both of them got in action. In no time they reached the village gates and went through their plan, everything went as expected, the guard chunin hurried while registering them back and didn't questioned them and just went through procedure. As they just passed through the gates, a small sound escaped from Haku, both of them went pale and thought 'OH FUCK!!!!! we are busted ' but, the chunin didn't hear anything. After a minute, they suspected the same cuz, the guard was not paying them attention. They released the breath they didn't knew they were holding, and with a mutual nod they 'SHUN-SHINED' to Uzumaki compound.

It took him a total of 10 minutes to deactivate all the traps, he also registered her and Haku to Uzumaki detection seals, as they were going to live together, God knows for how long.

' holy mother of fucking hokage ' were first thoughts of Ino after entering the compound, she was just flabbergasted by its sheer size and architecture of houses. The houses looked like they were recently made but still felt like they were ages old by their building style. She felt like she was in 'Sengoku Era'(warring states period) but, her mind went blank when she saw a Mansion which looked like it was made for clan head's family. It was at least five times bigger than her parents' house, and her father was Yamanaka clan head for fuck's sake.

"NE Naruto",

"yes Ino-chan?" he asked.

"is.. is that your house? "

"yes, any problem?" he was confused by her actions.

"seriously!! ".

"umm yeah. Is something wrong? "he asked with some concern cuz, she was acting weirdly all of sudden.

She answered," well nothing much, I was just amazed by the compound's houses and mainly by your huge-ass mansion. They all looks like they are recently made, I never knew you were this rich".

He slightly smiled at this and said," well, you're correct, but not entirely". Ino raised an eyebrow at this but, didn't called him out, Naruto continued," these houses are not newly built, they date back to konoha's founding with only exception being the main house, or as you said, ' MY HUGE-ASS MANSION ' it was renovated and thoroughly expanded when my mom arrived here from Uzushio, U'know she was practically royalty. Sandaime ordered to built it to meet her standards as per their presumptions". Now Ino's eyebrows practically disappeared into her hairline. She was thinking, ' First those security seals at the compound door and now this, TF is going on with this compound, the houses don't even seem older than a month or so, not to mention that sandaime-sama himself ordered to renovate Naruto's mansion to appease his mother' but before she could any doubts, they pathway leading to main house ended and they came across the small door.

Channeling a bit of chakra in his hands, Naruto twisted the doorknob and entered the house with Ino in tow, whose eyes became as wide as saucers, she felt like she entered a palace hallway, everything felt expensive and elegant. She ran out of patience and practically demanded in a low tone," Naruto, tell me"

when naruto turned into her direction, he was scared to the boot with her tone, he didn't knew what he had done to earn her fury. He asked while slightly stuttering," t..tell you w..what Ino-chan?"

Instead of answering instantly, she approached him with a speed that will even put Raikage in shame. With stars in her eyes, she said," everything, about the door seals, how houses are looking this much new and about your parents, more importantly about your mother cuz, she seemed a great figure". Now everything clicked into place in his mind,' of course, the gossip queen of konoha is greatly triggered because she doesn't know something about me '. For a second he said nothing but then suddenly said," okay, I will answer all of your questions, but, after dinner cuz, its going to be a long discussion. I'll prepare dinner and in mean time, you can take a bath, the entrance is just left to the corridor and there are some of mother's kimonos which u can wear as sleep wear for today". Ino was going to protest but kami, she was tired as hell and surely needed a relaxing bath. Naruto unsealed the crib and Ino dropped Haku gently in it while, he went to take out the kimono, after 5 minutes he came back and handed it her. It was a regular kimono but made out of finest and comfiest fiber she had ever seen.

After getting everything ready, she marched towards the bathroom while admiring the house architecture. She found it without any difficulty but when she opened the paper doors, her jaw hit the floor, it was not a bath she expected, it was an open air onsen, small but enough for five to six people. She dumbly walked towards it and entered in the water but melted right into it when the water embraced her body. It wasn't too-hot just warm water that relaxed her tensed muscles. Suddenly a frown found its way on her face, Naruto was preparing Dinner and she doubted if he ate any thing other than Ramen but shoved it on the back of her mind cuz, after this much traveling she can eat anything and so, she relaxed in the warm spring water.

While Naruto made something to eat, he made some shadow clones to set-up a room for Ino and Haku, who was awake now and was playing with his shadow clone. After soaking for half-an-hour, Ino ended the bath and marched towards Haku's crib and witnessed the Blond pair playing while the older one occasionally cooed to make the baby laugh. It was such a heartwarming site that an eep escaped from Ino's mouth, it seriously made her day after all that trouble the faced till yet. Naruto sensing Ino 's arrival, came back from kitchen and dispelled the clone, after setting Haku in a crib.

"well dinner is ready, let me wash my hands and then we will eat together", Naruto said while motioning towards a small dining table. Ino sat on one side waiting for Naruto, who arrived after a minute and sat opposite to her. He made some shadow clone to fetch the food from kitchen. When she opened the lid of the first pot, she was surprised to see boiled rice, and the surprise only increased when the other two pots revealed Miso soup and seasoned beef. Sensing her confusion Naruto answered,"what? You thought that I only knew about ramen as a meal?". She replied in a teasing voice but confusion was still there," yes, basically what I've heard from forehead, you only think about ramen". There was a slight twitch in his eye after hearing her reply but in an annoyed tone, he replied," Ramen is my favorite but I still need nutritious meals everyday. Ero-senin knew what is good for body but, he never knew how to cook a tasty meal, because of this, I picked up a thing or two about cooking on my training trip". Satisfied by the answer Ino turned her focused her attention towards the dinner and reluctantly she took her first bite, which was surprisingly delicious. They both ate silently, no one uttered a single word throughout the meal. When they were both done, the clones took care of dishes and both of them settled on the couch in comfortable poses.

The silence was broken by Ino,"now everything is done, answer my questions, please". He sighed and questioned," where to start?". She instantly replied," from the very start, like how did you got this compound in first place? And you never explained you being a royalty".

"huh, let's get over it" he said with a long sigh and then begin," well, it all started during the second great shinobi war, the health of kyubi jinchuriki-a person who has sealed demon inside them- was deteriorating very quickly, to the point that keeping kyubi inside them was proving to be an invetible death, her name was MITO SENJU, formerly UZUMAKI, first hokage's wife and baa-Chan's(granny) grandmother. She was younger sister of my great-great-grandfather, Ashina Uzumaki. Uzumaki clan had several branch families, some excelled in combat while other were masters of art of sealing, medicine and strategy. The main family( clan leader's family) had a special type of chakra signature, closely resembling the Rikudo-senin's chakra signature. This gave them inhuman longevity, vitality and most importantly special chakra to hold of tailed-beasts(bijuu). While normal Uzumaki's were known to live up to nearly 120 years, the main family were also recorded normally living up to 150 years, the highest being 179 years for the first Uzumaki. Back to the topic, the previous jinchuriki's health was getting critical every passing day, Konoha needed a new one to keep kyubi sealed and as per their alliance, Uzushio was responsible to provide one of their main family member. At that time my mother was just 12 and my Uncle, her elder brother, was nearly 20. Being a young girl, her chakra coils were underdeveloped meaning, she avoid same health condition as Mito Senju if she became jinchuriki. Mito Senju became a jinchuriki in he early 30's, there was no place for Kyubi's chakra in her chakra coils, which corroded her body from inside out. But my mother was safe from such consequences". This much information was hard to process for any average person but not for Ino, the up and coming Torture and interrogation specialist of konoha. She soaked all the information like a sponge and asked," but, why is your main family considered royalty? Why not a nobility like Senju and Uchiha?".

He answered," because Konoha is located in fire nation under the jurisdiction of fire Daimyo(Feudal lord) but, in Uzushio there was no such thing, Uzumaki clan ruled Uzushiogakure, and by hierarchy pattern, Main family was the royal line, the branch families were the nobles, like Uchiha and Senju, some minor clans came in same place as civilians were. Moving to the compound, it was built by first hokage's wood release, on the request of his wife, for some Uzumaki orphans and refugees of war. Symbolizing that Uzumaki's had a place to call home, here in konoha. This mansion we're currently inside, was built just before the arrival of my mother, it was designed by architects in such a way that it gave a feeling of home to my mother, laced with with modern machines and styles but, also reflecting old Uzumaki style. The other houses were etched with some kind of stasis seals by Uzumaki clan members, it was also a request from lay Mito, these seals are designed in such a way that houses will look same even after 100 or so years until seals are tampered with or houses are damaged by force. This mansion is also laced by such seals but these are personally done by my mother, she was a seal master just by the age of 17".

Ino was now fully immersed in story and took a minute to process that he stopped talking, he answered her questions about compound so she asked another one," when we came in, there were several traps and seals on entrance. Many clans use shinobis to guard their clan compound, and you still didn't me much about your parents".

He was more than happy while talking about his parents but, answered her former question first," that's because during early stages of the second war, the Hachibi jinchuriki died when hachibi broke from its seal, kumogakure( hidden cloud village) got a word that there was pureblood Uzumaki residing in konaha and attending academy. Some kumo shinobis infiltrated our village and kidnapped my mom, an Academy student was not much hassle to deal with. She just recently became a genin and was coming back to compound, where no one lived except her. That's when she was kidnapped. It was a spy who helped in kidnapping, but he was dealt afterwards", Naruto continued with a grim voice," she was bullied in academy due to her red her and round face, on her first day she proclaimed that she will become first female hokage, the bullies called her tomato because of her face and hair, nobody liked her in academy because of being an outsider. But, she was not the one to be bullied easily, she beat every bully black and blue just with her fists. Many people thought of her as a well mannered princess but she was a tomboy and easily angered person". Naruto said the last sentence with a small chuckle which earned a giggle from previously tense Ino who now relaxed.

After his chuckle ended, Naruto continued the tale again," when the cloud shinobis were taking her to kumo, her only hope was to get rescued by someone as her hands were tied behind her back and her mouth was taped. She left behind a trail by dropping her red strands of hair every 10 m or so. luckily enough her peer noticed the trail and followed it, eventually found the cloud shinobis and my mother. It was a suicide mission so no elite shinobis were dispatched by kumo, as if the mission succeeded then kumo gains a great war asset if, not then kumo won't lose good soldiers. My mom was saved by her fellow Genin and she questioned him about how she found her and the Genin replied while carrying her in princess carry," Because of your hair, it was so beautiful that I noticed it immediately". That genin was my father. That day my mother fell for my father, he was her savior and the only person to compliment her hair. She almost described it as a red string of fate that connected both of them". Naruto finished with a warm smile. Ino was also mesmerized by the tale, as it was so similar to those ' Knight in a silver armor saved the Princess in distress' and Naruto's mother was a real princess. But then it clicked in, it was such a personal details and no one except the people involved should knew of it, and both of his parents died in kyubi attack, Curiosity took over and she asked,

"hey, how come you know of all these details? Not to be rude but, your parents dies in kyubi attack, when you were just a baby".(Ino)

"well my mother told me all this" he said while giving famous eye smile of kakashi.

"wai.. wait how?" Ino dumbly asked.

"while my mother held off Kyubi for some moments, Dad was making sealing preparations and doing so, he also sealed some of his and mom's chakra along with kyubi, so that when I try to control its chakra, they can help me to do so. That's how I met both of them". He said in a happy tone.

Ino processed all the information but her eyes opened wide and she shouted," your dad, he.. he was the yondaime hokage? The one of strongest hokage? The fastest man to ever live? The fucking Fourth hokage?" (Ino).

" geez, Ino you should control your voice, and to answer you, yes my father was yellow flash of konoha, the fourth hokage of our village. He was one of strongest shinobi, due to this he made many enemies, namely the Iwagakure(hidden rock) and kumo. Sandaime thought about the future and gave me My mother Uzumaki Namikaze Kushina's maiden name. If I was called Naruto Namikaze, instead of Uzumaki, then both Iwa and kumo could have sent their assailants to kill me in my sleep. That was also the reason why I was not given any assets of my parents that would point out my relation to them. But I'm a carbon copy of my father with the cheekbones and nose of my mother, anyone with a brain could have derived my relation to them". Ino was stunned after getting all things straight, now even for her, all this info was brain aching.

They both called it a day and went to their respective rooms as because of Ino's earlier shouting, Haku woke up and cried but stopped when Ino cooed and fed him from milk bottle. She was still contemplating on what she learned today and while doing so, she completely ignored the room's appearance, laid on her queen sized roof hi-res bed and lost herself into sleep...

A.N. sorry guys, it took too long to update, mainy my cousin was very ill and was unable to drive safely, so I became his driver for past week and stayed at his house. I update from my pc and there was no computer from which i can write and upload.to compensate i wrote a long enough chapter of 3k words.
