I do not own anything from Harry Potter, or the Addams Family.

Hey guys, Badger. Back again with a new chapter. A chapter quite a few have been looking forward to. This chapter had been put on the side, as I struggled to write down what I wanted to put down on the page. The final result may not be what I had wanted initially, but I am quite happy with what I have for all of you today and I think you all will like it too.

I hope.

But anyway, that is all for now. Read on, enjoy and I'll see you all at the end.

Chapter 11

Death Eaters Vs The Addams Family, What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Macnair felt his heart racing, as he stood atop a cliff side overlooking the building formerly known as Malfoy Manor. All was quiet and still, not a single sound could be heard besides the gentle whistle of cold wind, passing through the surrounding trees. His mission from the Dark Lord was clear. Infiltrate the Manor and capture Potter for his Master. And kill anyone else inside that may try to stop them. However, Macnair felt more than a little nervous as he stood there. It wasn't just anyone, he had been ordered to capture. It was Harry Potter. The Boy-Who-Lived. Usually, Macnair would not be so nervous about going up against a child, but the boy has previously gone up against Lucius Malfoy and won. Killing the late Malfoy Patriarch in the process. Not to mention the boy has gone up against the Dark Lord, wand to wand, several times already and managed to either come out on top, or get away to live another day.

Macnair didn't know how he could fare any better, than either of them.

Granted, Macnair had a group of fellow Death Eaters on his side. But even the extra backup, did very little to calm his nerves. Letting out a small breath, Macnair turned around and looked at the large group of Death Eaters, marked and unmarked, currently standing impatiently, for the order to attack. Macnair could practically see them all twitching underneath their masks. They were all itching for the smell of death.

"We have our orders, from the Dark Lord!" Macnair said, "We are to capture Potter alive and deliver him to our Master…and kill anyone who dares to try and stop us…now, attack!"

Instantly, every single one of the Death Eaters charged towards the Manor, screaming and yelling. Several of them already began firing a barrage of spells at the Manor, in an attempt to draw Potter and anyone else outside. Macnair stood there for a moment, watching his fellow Death Eaters charge, before he donned his own mask and followed after them, joining the attack.

Inside the Manor, Harry was alone in a small study he had currently commandeered for the time being, to read through one of the many books he had at hand, on Dark Magic and the Dark Arts. After taking some time to properly think about and consider Gomez's words on using Dark Magic, Harry decided that perhaps it wouldn't be such a bad thing to learn it. Whilst he still felt conflicted, if his enemies weren't going to limit themselves, then why should he. Which is why he took several spell books he could find within the Malfoy's library to see what he could find. And there was a lot. Including curses he had never heard of before.

Blood Boiling Curses. Organ Liquefying Curses. Eye Gouging Hexes. There were even curses that makes the victim vomit up their own organs, and a curse that melts the flesh, as if it's being eaten away by millions of tiny piranhas. The sheer quantity of spells was enough to give Harry a whiplash.

However, Harry was pulled out from his thoughts, when he felt the room rumble and shake for a second before stopping. Initially he thought nothing of it, until it happened again, this time the room shook a little more and for longer. Fearing that the worse was happening, Harry quickly rushed to out of the study and down the corridors, where he quickly ran into Gomez. The rest of the Addams family were rushing outside, all of whom looking practically gleeful. Insanely so.

"Gomez, what's going on?" Harry asked

"It seems we're under attack my boy!" Gomez said, cheerfully, "Seems friends of that bloke you killed…Malfoy wasn't it…aren't quite happy about what happened, that is, if it is them…"

"Death Eaters are here?" Harry asked, paling a little, "Shit, wait outside for me Gomez!"

"Will do my boy!" Gomez called out as he rushed outside, to catch up with the rest of his family

Meanwhile, Harry rushed down the corridors, bursting into one of the living areas where he found the Weasley Twins and Luna. All three looked quite confused as to what was happening. They all turned to Harry, quite startled at his sudden appearance.

"Harry, me old mate…" Fred said

"What's going on?" George finished

"The Manor is under attack…" Harry replied, "Gomez reckons its Death Eaters…"

"Death Eaters?" Luna replied with wide eyes, "Here?"

"Yes" Harry nodded, "We're going to have to fight to drive them off…I want you three to remember everything I taught you during those DA lessons…and don't hold back against the Death Eaters…they won't hold back against us!"

The Twins and Luna shared a look amongst themselves, before nodding with determination as they followed Harry out of the manor. Harry removed his wand, to see a group of Death Eaters in the distance, charging towards the manor, as a barrage of spells bounced off of the protective wards surrounding the building. That must've been what was causing the Manor to shake earlier. Narrowing his eyes Harry made his way towards the Addams Family who were standing ready, the Twins and Luna following quickly behind him.

Once Harry caught up to the Addams Family, he looked to Gomez with a raised eyebrow, the yells of Death Eaters getting louder as they got closer.

"What are you lot waiting for, Gomez?" Harry asked

"You of course, my boy!" Gomez smiled, "We want you to give us the order to charge and attack!"

"Really?" Harry asked with a small smile, "Well…in that case…charge!"

Over in Grimmauld Place, Lupin paced back and forth in the attic. It was a place he often came to, to just take a moment and think. However Buckbeak, who still resided the attic, was glaring at him from across the room, not particularly happy about having his nap interrupted. And the Hippogriff wasn't exactly happy with Lupin's constant pacing back and forth either. However, Buckbeaks glares went unnoticed and ignored by the man as he continued pacing, looking out of the window every so often. After spending several hours trying to write a letter to Harry, struggling to figure out what to say, Lupin finally had the courage to give the letter to an owl and send it on its way.

Not that he thought the letter would do any good. Lupin had all but given up hope that they'd be able to get through to Harry. Their previous attempts to speak with Harry had failed and, in the process, they had also lost Fred, George and Luna, who all decided to stay with him. Harry's abandonment had taken a toll on everyone at Grimmauld Place, with many working themselves into a frenzy trying to get him back. Dumbledore more than anyone. The Headmaster tried to hide it, but Lupin could see how taxing it was on him. And, though no one would dare mention it out loud, Lupin has heard the whispered comments and discussions about Harry being influenced by something, or possibly someone. Lupin hoped that wasn't the case. With the state he had seen Harry in, after Sirius died, Lupin couldn't help but fear the possibility of someone trying to use Harry's anger and vulnerability to control and manipulate the boy.

Lupin stopped in his tracks, as he looked out the window once more, into the sky as the sun began to set. Seeing the man stop pacing made Buckbeak huff in relief as he lay his head back down comfortably to get some rest. As Lupin looked out the window, he prayed to Merlin or whoever else that might be watching and listening, that Harry would respond to his letter.

He had to.

At Addams Villa, the Death Eaters had expected an easy killing as they captured Potter. They thought wrong. They weren't expecting the power of the Addams Family. They could barely keep up with the sheer speed and velocity they were up against. And the brutality. The air was filled with the ear-piercing cackle of Grandmama as she flew across the grounds, using her spells and hexes on the Death Eaters. One by one, Death Eaters were torn apart limb from limb, or reduced to a pile of gloopy mush and bones. Alongside her Uncle Fester cheered with joy, as he raised his hands up to the sky. There was a loud rumble, as storm clouds appeared in the sky above him, followed by the booms and crackles of thunder.

As the sky darkened, bolts of lightning struck down, encircling Uncle Festers arms and body. With a sadistic smile Uncle Fester thrust his palms forward, firing the lightning at the Death Eaters who screamed in pain and agony as they were burnt to a crisp, their skin melting off of their bones. The Addams Family were having the time of their life. They haven't had a hunt like this, for a long time.

"We're losing more and more!" One of the Death Eaters cried, "Who are these freaks?!"

"I don't know, but our mission is clear!" Macnair replied, "Don't be a coward and capture Potter alive!"

However, internally, Macnair was freaking out and pissing himself from fear. He had expected some resistance, but nothing to this scale. He had no idea who the people were, but he didn't think they were human. They couldn't be. Macnair had seen many feats of magic, during his time serving the Dark Lord. Not once did the Dark Lord ever summon and control lightning, fly around freely without a broom stick, or tear people apart with just a small flick of his wrist. Not like these freaks. If they weren't human, they must've been at the very least supernatural. As he fought alongside two other Death Eaters, Macnair felt the warmth of blood splatting onto his robes, as the head of one of the Death Eaters suddenly exploded in a mess of blood, brains and bits of skull.

Macnair was barely able to register what he had seen, before an explosion hit the ground in front of him, knocking him unconscious as he was sent flying.

Across the fields, Pugsley and Wednesday picked off Death Eaters one by one, who were unable to keep up with the speeds the two children were moving at. Pugsley cheered with glee as he finally got to use his many inventions that he had been creating the last couple of weeks. They may have been crude and haphazard in design, but they got the work done. Pugsley continued to laugh and cheer as Death Eaters blew up and disintegrated around him.

Wednesday meanwhile, moved swiftly across the fields, running rings around a small group of Death Eaters and slashing their throats with her trusty dagger when she was close enough, to one of them. She didn't know how many Death Eaters her blade had claimed, but the taste of blood delighted her all the same as another Death Eater choked on the blood spilling out from open wound on their throat. When there was only one Death Eater left in the small cluster, she stopped in her tracks and looked at them. Despite wearing a mask, she could see the fear in their eyes as they raised their wand, failing to stop their shaking hand. Wednesday said or did nothing, merely narrowing her eyes a little, as she tilted her head to one side.

The Death Eater immediately put their head in their hands, screaming in pain, before their head suddenly exploded in a red mist, their body falling into the dirt with a sickening crunch. Wednesday looked at the corpses with indifference, before she continued her killing spree.

On the grounds, at the very front of the Manor, Gomez and Morticia stood side by side, happily attacking the Death Eaters around them. Morticia used a variety of of spells and hexes that her mother, and Grandmama, had taught her during her childhood. One by one, Death Eaters were torn apart and melted. Morticia also used her psychic abilities, to control the plant life surrounding the Manor. Large vines burst through the ground and dirt, capturing Death Eaters in their grasp. The Death Eaters cried in pain as the vines held them by their wrists and ankles, before tearing their limbs off, all at once, in one hard pull. Their limbless bodies were left to scream and bleed out slowly.

Beside her, Gomez had a jovial smile as he burnt several Death Eaters to a crisp with jets of fire, or combusting them with fireballs, the smell of burnt and melting flesh filling the air around them and attacking their nostrils. Gomez then reanimated the corpses around him, to attack the other Death Eaters. His smile never left his face, as he watched the Death Eaters being attacked by their undead brothers.

"Doesn't this remind you of our Honeymoon, my dear?" Gomez said

"Oh Gomez darling, I'm glad to see you were thinking the same…" Morticia replied, with a smile

Elsewhere amongst the fight, Harry was happy to see that Luna and the Twins were taking his words to heart, and were using spells like Cutting Curses and Bone Breakers instead of Disarming Charms and Stunners. They weren't holding back. And Harry wasn't holding either. He took this opportunity to use several spells he had read in the many books of Dark Magic. Blood Boiling Curses. Skin Shredding Curses. Organ Liquefying Curses. And Harry felt a satisfaction when using them. Harry was brutal and his brutality was a shock to the Death Eaters, who were on the back foot. Especially those who had been there in the graveyard and the Department of Mysteries. Seeing the Boy-Who-Lived go from Stunners and Disarming Charms, to Dark Magic was something none of them had expected.

There were very few Death Eaters left, and those who were still standing, were being cut down one by one. However, all of a sudden, Harry heard something behind him. Two words. Two words he knew very well.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Harry quickly spun around, to see the all too familiar jet of green light. However, it wasn't heading towards him. It was heading towards Morticia, who was unable to avoid it in time and got hit in the chest. Harry's eyes darkened, as he saw Morticia fall. And he felt something snap within him. Immediately, he raised his wand at the culprit and an ominous crimson jet of light shot out from his wand, like the speed of a bullet, which hit the Death Eater causing them to stumble.

At first, nothing happened and the Death Eater smirked, believing that Harry's spell had failed. He went to raise his wand, only to feel a violent pain in his stomach. A pain that seemed to be spreading throughout his body. The pain got worse, as the Death Eater hunched over and threw up, where he began to vomit out his own blood and organs from his body, before his corpse fell to the ground, into the puddle of his own insides. Harry looked at the Death Eater with cold, cruel eyes, before he rushed over towards Morticia, crouching beside her. Tears threatened to spill from his eyes as he punched the ground hard, nearly breaking his own hand. His whole reason for escaping was to get away from this.

Death.

"God, damn it!" He exclaimed

"Harry, my boy…" Gomez said, as he and the rest of the Addams Family made their way over, "It's okay, she…"

"No, it's not okay Gomez!" Harry yelled, as he looked up at the man, "I wanted to get away from this…people dying because of me…and now it's happened again!"

"No it hasn't, Harry" Gomez replied, gently

"He's right, Harry dear…" A voice spoke up

Harry looked down, in shock, to see Morticia was alive and well, looking up at him. His eyes widened, stuttering, unable to form any proper words, in disbelief at what he was seeing. Morticia merely smiled, as she reached up and cupped his cheek, her thumb gently wiping away a tear that had started to fall down his face.

"What are you crying for, dear?" She asked

"You…you died…I saw you…" Harry said, trying to comprehend what he was seeing, "The Killing Curse…no one can survive that…"

"Nothing can kill an Addams, Harry dear…" Morticia said, "Only time itself…"

"Wait…you're immortal?" Harry asked

"In a sense, Harry my boy…" Gomez spoke up, "As my dear Morticia said, nothing can kill an Addams besides the curse that is age and time…"

Harry's mind was spinning as he tried to comprehend everything he had been told. However, his train of thought was interrupted when he heard someone groaning. He looked to see that one of the Death Eaters had survived the conflict and were slowly crawling away. Harry's eyes narrowed as he stood up and walked towards them. Grabbing the Death Eaters shoulder, he spun them around and removed their mask, where he recognised them to be Macnair. He recognised the man from the Department of Mysteries. Macnairs eyes were wide with fear, as he looked up at the boy.

Harry looked at the man coldly, as he pointed his wand at the man's skull, a Blasting Hex on the tip of his tongue. However, just before he could utter the spell, he changed his mind. He stood up, forcing Macnair to his feet.

"Go back to your Dark Lord…" Harry spat, "Tell him what happened here…and tell him to leave me alone, or this will get worse…"

Macnair didn't need to be told twice. He immediately spun around and ran away, nearly tripping over several corpses of his fellow Death Eaters along the way. Macnair didn't stop running, until he was far enough away where he Disapparated. Harry merely stood there, watching the man run away, his wand still in his hand just in case Macnair was stupid enough to fire another spell. Harry had gone up against Death Eaters several times now, to know that it was a possibility.

Back inside Macnairs Manor, Voldemort paced back and forth as he waited. He was getting more and more impatient with each passing second. Voldemort wondered what was taking so long. He expected Macnair ages ago, with Potter in tow. Captured and tied up. He didn't think that it would take so long for a large group of Death Eaters to capture one boy. Whilst Voldemort would admit that Potter was powerful. More powerful than an average wizard, but not even he could go up against a large group of Death Eaters on his own. Thankfully, Voldemorts growing impatience was stilled, when the doors opened and Macnair ran in.

Voldemort smiled, however, that smile quickly disappeared when he saw Macnair looked battered and was covered in blood. With no Potter in sight. Voldemort couldn't help but notice that none of the other Death Eaters that Voldemort had also sent out, seemed to be with him.

"Macnair…" Voldemort drawled, his eyes darkening, "Where is Potter?"

"My…my Lord…" Macnair gasped, feeling like he was going to throw up, "We…Potter…when we went to capture Potter, we…we were met with resistance…"

"From who?" Voldemort demanded, "The Order of the Phoenix?"

"No, my lord…" Macnair replied, "I…I don't know who they were…but they possessed powerful magic…it was a bloodbath my lord…they killed those you sent with me…as the only survivor, Potter let me go…to warn you, my lord…saying to leave him alone, or…what happened there, will get worse…"

Voldemorts eyes darkened even more, glinting an ominous red, as Macnair explained himself. His plans to capture Potter had been foiled by, what? Some strangers who, according to Macnair, possessed powerful magic. In a rage, Voldemort snarled and raised his wand. A bright green light was the last thing Macnair saw, before everything went black and his corpse hit the floor with a dull thud. Voldemort sneered at the mans corpse, turning away indifferently as Nagini slithered along the floor amd started to devour Macnair, enjoying a fresh meal for a change. As Nagini enjoyed her meal, Voldemort went back to pacing back and forth, thinking. These strangers that Macnair had mentioned, has cost him well over a dozen men.

He couldn't risk more loses like that.

Voldemort needed some time to think. To plan. After an attack like this, Potter was going to be on high alert for another. Voldemort couldn't be too hasty with his next move. He wasn't going to do anything, just yet. He'll keep away from Potter, for the time being. Plan his next moves carefully and wait for Potter to lower his guard. When he does, Voldemort will strike.

And he will be successful this time.

Harry ran a hand through his hair, his body shaking a little from all the adrenaline running through his body, as he entered his bedroom. The whole battle against the Death Eaters had left him more then a little shaken up. He felt like throwing up from the whole experience. Not to mention from what remained of the Death Eaters that attacked them. Reading about the spells in books, were vastly different from seeing the results in person. Though, he had to admit, it felt good to use them. After the battle, whilst the Addams Family went ahead with cleaning up the mess, Harry decided to go to his bedroom to take a shower and calm down.

However, shortly after entering his bedroom, Wednesday had also entered. Harry was surprised to see her enter, where he nervously watched as she closed the door behind her, locking it with a soft click.

"Wednesday…" He said, "What…what are you doing here?"

Wednesday said nothing as she looked at him, her emotionless expression ever present on her face. Though Harry noticed a small hint of determination in her eyes as she stepped closer to him. Harry was even more nervous and went to speak, only to be interrupted when Wednesday kissed him. This time on his lips instead of the corner of his mouth. Harry froze at the sudden kiss, but found himself kissing back. Her lips were cold as ice, but had a surprisingly sweet taste to them. Wednesday didn't break the kiss, as she gripped his shirt tightly, pushing him towards the bed.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Gomez and Morticia were sitting in the living area after cleaning up the Death Eaters corpses, when they heard a soft banging coming from above them. They looked up to see the chandelier on the ceiling shaking a little, along with each bang. A smile crept across both of their faces.

"Seems Wednesday has finally decided to claim what's hers…" Morticia said

"Indeed it does, my dear…" Gomez replied, before turning to his wife, "Do you think our dear Harry should've been given a slight warning, as to…"

"No…" Morticia interrupted with a soft smile, as she looked up at the ceiling where the chandelier was still shaking, "Besides, he's about to find out soon enough…"

And thats the end. What did you think?

I don't need to spell out what happened at the end do I? I'm pretty sure we all know.

Anyway, the Death Eaters were completely wiped out in the attack. Any surprise? Not really. However, this is why the chapter had been put on the side. During writing this chapter, I looked up what kind of abilities the Addams Family had and found a little, but not much, such as Uncle Festers electricity powers. Therefore, I used what I read as a base and used it to make them more supernatural, more so then they already are, with their abilities.

I also read conflicting sources about the Addams Family being immortal, with some sources saying they are, some saying they're not, with others saying they kind of are. To anyone with bigger knowledge than me, can you confirm if they are or not. Either way, I decided to use the sources saying they kind of are immortal where, whilst they cant die from being shot or stabbed or anything like that, they can still die from, natural causes and old age etc.

Anyway, that is all for now. I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you all next time, in whatever story I see you in.
