Hello everyone I'm back once again to bring you the final chapter of my story; this has been the most popular story I have written yet and I have got to say that I'm am thankful to each and everyone of you for supporting me for this long. Now with nothing else to say, lets finish this thing.
Mist and Maelstroms: Chapter 44
13 years after the wedding; Konoha: With Naruto and Mei
Naruto was in the Hokage's office sitting on the couch with Mei; Naruto changed over the years and it showed. Naruto now stood at six feet tall and wore black anbu pants, blue sandals, and a blue muscle shirt under a orange jacket; his hair was cut shorter but still had his signature spikiness.
At 32 years old Naruto was now a season shinobi and the leader of the seven swordsmen; but now he was going to have to give up the position to achieve his dream.
"Holy shit babe I'm nervous" Naruto said his hands shaking as Mei rubbed his back "oh man were you this scared when you were made Mizukage".
"I… wouldn't know" Mei said with a chuckle "I came to rescue in the forest of death; remember… during the chunin exams (see chapter 8)". "But I'm sure you'll be fine" Mei said holding his hand "we've been through worse; this has been your dream since you were a kid".
Mei was now 40 and the now former Mizukage; Mei changed very little over the years with the only noticeable difference being that she had a few grey hairs, but other than that she was still the most beautiful woman in the world to Naruto. She retired her status as Mizukage in order to immigrate to Konoha so Naruto can become Hokage when Tsunade finally stepped down.
"You're right, you're right" Naruto said taking a couple breaths "I can do this"; suddenly there was a knock on the door. "Come in" Naruto said and the door opened; 2 children one a girl and one a boy walked in and the girl spoke.
"Dad are you ready; grandma Tsunade and Grand-perv Jiraya are waiting for us" she said; Akua Uzumaki stood at the door with a smile on her face showing off her shark like teeth. Akua was 12 years old and spent most of her life in Kiri; she had the hair style and skin of her mother but the hair color and eye color of her father. She wore a blue crop top exposing her belly button along with mesh armor underneath; she also wore black shorts and black sandals and had a Kiri forehead protector tied around her forehead. But what really stood out was that on her back she had her fathers old sword 'The Executioners blade' as she was the newest and youngest member f the seven swordsmen
"Come on dad, lets go" said the boy as he ran over and grabbed Naruto by the hand and began to pull "come on, lets do the ceremony and then I can go to school".
"Geez, are you sure you're my kid" Naruto said with a smirk "because I never wanted to go to school when I was a kid"; the young boys smiled and giggled.
Hariken Uzumaki was 8 years old and looked like a spitting image of Naruto when he was that age; the only difference was that he had Mei's hair and eye color. He wore a simple blue shirt, orange pants, black sandals and he had a wooden training sword on his back.
"Ok,ok" Naruto said as he got up and walked over to a hanger on a hook; on the hanger was his Hokage robes and his hat. Naruto grabbed both and looked up at the pictures of the previous Hokage on the wall; Naruto looked over and saw Hiruzen's picture and had a single tear fall from his eye.
Hiruzen passed only a month before Akua was born, he never got to meet his first great grand kid "I'll make you proud Ji-ji" Naruto said as he put on the robes and hat "lets go rock this thing".
A few minutes later; Hokage tower roof: With Naruto, Mei, Akua and Hariken
Naruto walked to the edge of the Hokage tower overlooking the entire village; as he did he saw thousands of people down below cheering as he stood with his family. There were people from everywhere; Konoha, Kiri, Kumo, Iwa, Suna, Taki and other small villages all showed up to show their support.
"Heh… a few decades ago these people would've boo'd me off of here" Naruto said looking down at the crowd "well look at me now".
Tsunade and Jiraya both walked up and beside Naruto and patted his shoulder.
"You're parents would be proud kid" Jiraya said with a smile.
"I'm so proud of you Naruto" Tsunade said and Naruto gave them both a foxy grin; Tsunade turned to the crowd and spoke using chakra to amplify her voice "People of Konoha; I give you your new Hokage". "NARUTO UZUMAKI" Tsunade shouted and the crowd roared as Naruto waved "and we welcome his wife and their children to our village; and wish them many years of happiness and prosperity".
Meanwhile In Suna; Kazekage tower: With Itachi, Fu, Hana, Tayuya and Temari
Itachi and his wives were all in the Kazekage tower watching the news as Naruto was made Hokage "well it's about time" Itachi said as he laid on the floor playing with his kids. Itachi has been busy rebuilding his clan in Suna and so far had a dozen kids with his 4 wives.
Currently half of them were at the academy while the other half were currently playing on the ground of the Kazekage office with their ages ranging from eight months to four years.
"I'll say" Temari said witting behind the desk "if anyone's earned it it's him"; Temari looked over to Fu and spoke. "Can i get a hand" Temari asked and Fu nodded.
"Sure thing" Fu said as she walked over and helped Temari to her feet; Temari was heavily pregnant and began to walk to the restroom "how long are you again".
"I'm getting close to the nine month mark" Temari said as she walked to the toilet "baby number five"; Temari walked in and closed the door and Tayuya scoffed.
"Two is good enough for me" Tayuya said crossing her arms.
"Same here" Fu said "my ho-ha can't take anymore"; Hana chuckled and looked to Itachi.
"I'm on three waiting for number four" Hana said and Itachi chuckled.
"Well my clan isn't going to rebuild itself" Itachi said; suddenly Temari screamed from the bath room and Itachi jumped up "Temari; what's wrong".
"My water just broke" Temari shouted and everyone went wide eyed.
"Ok you know the plan" Itachi said "Fu, Tayuya; watch the kids, Hana with me"; Itachi and Hana both ran to Temari as Fu and Tayuya began to tend to the kids.
Back in Konoha (1 hour later): With Naruto, Mei, Akua and Hariken
Naruto and his family were walking in a back street to get to the academy to drop off Hariken for his first day of school; suddenly Akua rushed forward and stood in the middle of the road.
"Come on out; I know you're there" Akua said and Naruto, Mei and Hariken looked on in suspension; suddenly 3 shuriken came out of an alley and Akua grabbed her sword and blocked them.
A red blur appeared behind her and Akua sent a kick that was caught by a red haired boy "nice reflexes Akua; as sharp as ever" he said; Akua pulled her foot back and looked at the alley.
"Come on out Tobirama; I know you're in there" Akua shouted and someone came out.
Tobirama Inuzuka-Sarutobi walked out of the alley with a smile on his face "nice to see you to Akua" he said; Tobirama wore a fuzzy jacket like his older brother Kiba did back in the day. His long spikey hair was slicked back and his handsome face had a permanent good guys smile; on his back he had a Bo staff as he took up Bojutsu like his late father Hiruzen did.
Akua then looked to the red haired boy and spoke "what is this Yakotsuki; some kind of welcoming party" she asked and Yakotsuki chuckled.
"Yeah pretty much" Yakotsuki said before turning to Naruto and waving "hey uncle Naruto, aunt Mei"; Naruto and Mei waved back as they realized who attacked their daughter was harmless.
Yakotsuki was the son of Kurama and Karin Uzumaki; Kurama with his last bit of chakra put it into Karin in order to get her pregnant. So in a sense Yakotsuki was the actual reincarnation of the nine tails but has yet to full achieve the power his father possessed; he had red hair like his mother but had red slitted eyes like Kurama. He wore a black leather jacket, white t-shirt, red/orange pants and black sandals along with a forehead protector around his neck.
"Can you just leave; I'm taking my brother to school" Akua said and Yakotsuki whined and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"Oh come on" Yakotsuki said before leaning in and kissing her cheek "we haven't seen each other in over a year; can we go on a date an-". He didn't finish his sentence as Akua hit him in the nuts making Naruto, Hariken and Tobirama flinch.
"Piss off jerk" Akua said before walking off in a random direction with a blush on her face.
"Ow" Yakotsuki whined before getting back up and looking at Tobirama "I told you she wants me" and Tobirama rolled his eyes.
"Yeah right" Tobirama said "and during which part did she give you that idea".
"Her chakra fluctuated during the kiss" came a voice and Karin walked up "she felt joy when it happened; she just can't express herself that well". "She's a real Tsundere type" Karin said before looking at Naruto "hey cousin".
"Sup' Karin; just watching your boy try and melt my princesses heart as per usual" Naruto said and Yakotsuki grinned.
"Just you watch uncle Naruto" Yakotsuki said "one day I'm gonna sweep her off her feet; because I'm cool and I'm- oh man why did she hit me in the balls". Yakotsuki fell to a knee as another wave of pain washed over.
"Come on Romeo" Tobirama said as he picked him up "you're shark toothed princess is getting away"; Tobirama began to lead Yakotsuki away to find Akua making Naruto and Mei chuckle.
"Wanna join us at the academy" Naruto asked and Karin nodded.
"Sure thing" Karin said as she began to walk with the remaining Uzumaki towards the academy.
……
As the family walked along the road Hariken looked to his side and saw a park; Hariken immediately ran inside and Mei began to speak.
"Hariken, this is no time to-" Mei began until both Naruto and Karin pointed; there were 3 kids around Hariken's age pushing another kid to the ground.
Hariken grabbed his wooden sword and shouted "hey leave her alone"; the kids turned around and Hariken attacked. Hariken sent a stab with the spear hitting a kid in the gut knocking the wind out of him.
"Oh a thought guy huh" a kid said as he threw a punch; Hariken dodged and sent a punch to the kids face breaking his nose and knocking him down. The last kid hit Hariken in the ribs but Hariken did not fall down; Hariken sent a headbutt into the kids face knocking him out.
"Ow; that one hurt" Hariken said as he rubbed his forehead; he then looked to the ground and spoke "hey are you ok". The young girl looked up and at Hariken; she had pale skin and green eyes and had dark pink hair.
"Y-yeah I'm fine" the girl said getting back up and looking at the auburn hair boy who just saved her "I-I'm Anzu; what's your name". Hariken smiled and took a few steps back before gripping his sword.
"From across the seas and deep inland comes a mysterious swordsman" Hariken said and Mei began to pale at what she was seeing "I have yet seen battle but my name will soon be known across the great nations". "Boys want to beat me, girls want to love me" Hariken said before he bit his thumb and summone out a toad the size of a couch "I am the future seven swordsman and owner of the toad contract; Hariken Uzumaki".
Anzu looked on wide eyed while Naruto, Mei and Karin looked on; Naruto was beaming with excitement.
'Alright; he used the enterance like how Pervy Sage taught him' Naruto thought.
'Oh brother' Karin thought with a sweat drop.
'Jiraya… you are so dead for teaching my baby boy that' Mei thought.
Anzu began to clap as Hariken smiled victoriously "wow you can summon giant frogs" she said and Hariken slipped off the frog and face planted as the toad disappeared. Hariken then stood up quickly.
"Toads but yeah" Hariken said "are you going to the academy"; Anzu nodded and spoke.
"Yeah I'm meeting my mommy there" Anzu said "do you want to walk there with me".
"Sure" Hariken said as he grabbed Anzu's hand and began to walk back with her "mom, dad, I just saved a girl".
"Good job son" Naruto said giving him a thumbs up; Naruto looked at the little girl and had a funny feeling 'huh… she looks familiar'.
At the academy: With Naruto and group
Naruto, his family, Karin and Anzu all walked through the gates of the academy and saw there were dozens of other people there; Anzu looked around and then shouted.
"Mommy" Anzu said as she ran over and hugged someone.
"Hey there sweetie; sorry I'm late, I was busy at the personnel center" Sakura said as she looked down to her daughter.
"Mommy, that boy over there saved me from bullies" Anzu said as she pointed over at Hariken; Sakura looked and saw Hariken waving and Naruto paling.
"Oh… great" Sakura said as she walked over with her daughter "Naruto"; Sakura had a look of disdain on her face and Naruto sheepishly looked at her.
"Hey Sakura… been a few years… how you been" Naruto said and Sakura looked at him.
"Stuck in personnel after my career got tanked" Sakura said before looking at Hariken and kneeling down with a smile "thank you for saving my daughter sweetie; what's your name".
"Hariken mam; do you know my dad" Hariken asked and Sakura nodded.
"Yes" Sakura said before glaring at Naruto "how about you and Anzu go and play while I talk with him".
"Sure" Hariken said "come on Anzu lets go and find some other kids"; both kids ran off leaving the adults alone.
"So where's you husband" Naruto asked and Sakura furrowed her brow.
"Never had one; to busy with work" Sakura said making them all go wide eyed "Anzu was a baby from a donor; she's my pride and joy". "Look you and me have some beef but I'm not going to take it out on the kids" Sakura said "I'm not that petty"; Sakura then looked over to Mei and spoke. "Lady Mizukage, you look good; is Naruto still an idiot" Sakura asked and Mei smiled.
"Yes and I love him for it" Mei said and Sakura chuckled.
"Some things don't change" Sakura said and Naruto got a tic mark.
"Hey" Naruto shouted and all 3 women laughed.
"I gotta go… see you around Naruto" Sakura said as she walked off.
As she did Naruto sighed "well what should I have expected" Naruto said "I mean, personnel… that's a fate worse than death". Mei and Karin chuckled at that and Mei wrapped her arm around him.
"How are you feeling honey" Mei asked and Naruto looked out and saw Hariken and Anzu playing with several other children.
"Pretty damn good" Naruto said as he kissed his wife "this is what I always wanted".
"Well I'm glad I could give it to you… my handsome swordsman" Mei said and Naruto smiled.
"Thank you for giving it to me; my auburn beauty " Naruto said as he, Mei and Karin all walked into the crowd as the entrance ceremony was about to begin.
