As many of you know, today marks the one-year anniversary of the defeat of the darkest wizard the world has seen in over a century.  On this very day, one year ago, The-Boy-Who-Lived destroyed Voldemort, and the Wizarding World no longer had to live in fear.

This day has been named Harry Potter Day, and there will be countless celebrations throughout England and across the globe.  In London alone there are seven statues of the Golden boy, a tribute not even granted to Albus Dumbledore when he defeated the previous Dark Lord.  There will be countless cheers to his name, parties in his honour, and even a parade for his magnificence…

But where is the Boy-Who-Lived-To-Defeat-Voldemort?  A small fact not known to many wizards is that exactly one year ago next week marks the first anniversary of the Golden Boy's disappearance from the Wizarding World.

Until now, there have been no clues as to the location of this famous individual, and oddity, considering his well-known attributes.  Emerald green eyes and a lightning bolt scar are not that hard to miss.

There have been, however, reported sightings of Potter in Muggle England.  The implications of this cannot go un-remarked.

With the Dementors dead, having sided with Voldemort, the cost of prisons was too great.  Instead of forcing the taxpayers to cover the expense, those Death Eaters captured alive were sent into exile in the Muggle world, their wands destroyed, forbidden to ever return.

Has the Boy-Who-Lived-To-Defeat-Voldemort given into the dark side?  Has the Boy-Who-Lost-Everything, family, friends, mentors, and the love of his life, become so overcome with grief that he lost sight of hi cause.  Or has he become twisted by his fame, and desperate for more?  Has he sided with the Death Eaters in hopes of obtaining even more power?  Will he turn from famous to infamous?

Is Harry Potter the Next Dark Lord?

This reporter, for sure, believes all of the signs are there.

AN:         I understand that this has been a long time for such a short update, but the next one will be longer.   I promise.  I was away most of the summer and had yet to read the fifth book.  I still haven't finished OotP, and I won't any time soon because it seriously pisses me off (I haven't even gotten to the bad part yet).  As for spoilers?  I doubt there will be very much.  There's no need.

As for pairings, I haven't really decided.  If there is one, it will be slash, but for now, I'm deciding between Fred, Lucius and Snape (Bookie and Dace I'm sorry, what can I say I'm twisted).

Expect the next chapter either Monday or next weekend, not in between.  Until then please review.

PSI know this is full of typos etc, but it's late.   Also, I don't have a beta.  Anyone interested leave a review or e-mail me.  I'd be ecstatic if someone agreed.  I can't re-read my own work.

Also (shameless plugging)  Check out Shades of Grey at FictionPress.  It won first place in a fantasy contest.  100$ for it.  Go me!
