In the vastness of space meteors were floating as a planet with rings formed around it, a being named Optimus Primal narrates the scenery.

"There's a legend that precedes the dawn of our civilization. A vile god, so large, so powerful, that it consumes entire planets as fuel. Few believed that such a thing could be true, until the day we saw Unicron with our own eyes." Primal said as a planet size monster comes into view, it is the chaos bringer Unicron in his planet form coming close to the planet with rings as he is bigger than the planet in front of him.

Four pods came out of the face of Unicron as they descend onto the planet two of the pods crashed down and transformed into mechanical scorpions called scorpinoks and they crawled right after they had hit the ground, then the final pod crashed, and the top panel came off and a figure emerges with a foreboding stature.

"But he didn't just come for our planet. He wanted our greatest technology, the Transwarp key. And he sent his most powerful henchmen to collect it, Scourge."

The two scorpinoks in the forest are shooting blasters out of their claws as a robotic gorilla named Apelinq running on all fours with a device that looks more like a crystal in which it is the Transwarp key his hand trying to get away from the scorpinoks, he puts the key in his mouth and jumps off a rock as it explodes, he then grabs a tree branch and swings to the left seeing an opening and runs towards it.

As he's about to get close het then gets hit by the blasters of the scorpinoks dropping the key out of his mouth and falls on the ground, he gets up to look at the scorpinoks coming towards him.

Just when the scorpinok gets closer another robotic gorilla who is Optimus primal comes out of the forest and attacks the scorpinok grabbing it by the tail and pulling it closer to him as he pins it down and rips the head off, and then proceeds to pound his chest showing dominance, he didn't see the other scorpnok coming towards him but when her looked back it exploded by a beam of fire as a Peregrine falcon that is the Maximal Airazor descends landing on the ground.

Two other Maximals come out of the forest, one a cheetah named Cheetor, and a rhino named Rhinox.

"More enemies are landing. We won't be safe for long" Cheetor says as he stops.

"Do we have the key?" Airazor asks Apelinq.

Apelinq goes over to the key as it chimes "You must take it. Keep it hidden, so that it never falls into the hands of Unicron." He says as he goes over to Primal

"But, Apelinq, we can fight." Primal said insisting to fight off scourge to protect the key.

"No. Protecting our Transwarp keyis all that matters!" Apelinq says as he hands the key to Primal "Go. Use it to escape."

"What will you do?" Airazor asking Apelinq.

Apelinq then looks towards the forest "I'll hold him off. Buy you some time." As he says this Primal grabs his arm.

"Then I'm staying with you." Primal says as Apelinq turns to face him.

"This is my fight. Listen, if Unicron were to get the key, he could open a portal through time and space with no end to the worlds he could destroy. It is now your time to lead the Maximals, Optimus Primal." as Apelinq says this he turns to face the forest in a defensive stance as the others flee to the bridge.

In the darkness of the forest was a blackish and purple glow as the dark figure comes closer to Apelinq, He then took out blades from his forearms and waits until the dark figure who turns out to be scourge.

"So, you're this planet's great warrior." Scourge says mockingly as Apelinq growls "Mmm. You have such a beautiful world, filled with and abundance of life."

"Savory." Scourge then steps out of the forest, his look and stature almost resembling the great warrior Optimus Prime, but the color scheme is that of black and a dark blue as his eyes glow red and his mouth plate is always on and when he talks it moves.

"My master grows hungry. Give me the Transwarp key and he will spare your home." Scourge says as he keeps his optics on Apelinq.

"We'd rather die than let him reach other planets." Apelinq responds as he's still in a defensive stance.

Scourge then sighs "So be it." He then transforms his left arm into a blaster as Apelinq beats his chest and charges towards scourge.

Both Scourge and Apelinq fight for a while as Scourge takes out a blade from his under arm and stabs it through Apelinq's chest.

Then Scourge charges his cannon with a bright orange and delivers a fatal blow to Apelinq's arm blowing it off completely, he then takes Apelinq's Maximal insignia and welds it onto his armor with the other insignias that he has collected from his previous kills which consist of the Predacons, other Maximals, Decepticons, and Autobot branches which are the Wreckers, and Elite Guard.

"Benefits of serving the almighty Unicron. They never learn." Scourge says as he looks at his trophies.

"You're too late, Scourge. Your master will be trapped in this galaxy forever." Apelinq said weakly as he is losing energon from the blow of Scourges cannon.

Just then a boom like sound can be heard as a space ship containing the other Maximals escaping through a portal, as Scourge sees this, he clenched his fists "No" is all he can say.

Inside of the ship Primal looks down at his home planet one last time and takes a look at the Transwarp key.

"His sacrifice will be our oath. To preserve the key, no matter the cost." Airaxor said reasuring the new leader of the Maximals as Primal bows his head, then the ship travels through the Transwarp and heading towards a new planet. Earth.

"You let them slip away with the transwarp key." A deep voice coming from inside the planet form of Unicron as Scourge kneels down to his master.

"Scour the universe and find where the Maximals have gone. When you aquire the key, use it to bring me to you." Unicron says to scourge.

"Yes, my lord." Scourge says as he stands up from his kneel.

"Once I have the key, I alone will reign surpreme." Unicron said as his one optic opens wide.

The Unicron starts to get closer to the Maximals planet and takes out what look to be mandibles and punctures the planet then a fiery cavity starts to expand and suck up the planet eating it, destroying everything that was living, and devouring it until it was gone.
