Spoilers: Lady Heather's Box

"Catherine?" Grissom found Catherine in his office. He had been trying to find her all night and hadn't expected to find her in the last place he came to.

"Hey, I just needed a place away from everyone...everything. I hope you don't mind."

"No, of course not." He stepped deeper into his office and it was only until he got to her side that the light from his desk lamp showed him the tears running down her cheeks, "Catherine, I'm so sorry..."

"Please don't say that. If I have to hear that one more time..." She shook her head and wiped away her tears quickly.

"How's Lindsey doing?"

"Warrick's taking a walk with her. I don't think I can face her right now."

He knelt down so that he could look at her, "It's not your fault. There just wasn't enough evidence. Lindsey would never blame you."

"No, but I would."

"I hated him for what he did to me but I never wanted him to die."

"I know that and I'm sure Eddie knew that."

"I hope so."

"Cath, is there anything I can do?"

"Yeah, you can stand by me."

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to him, "There was never a moment I wasn't."
