STANDARD DISCLAIMER: Law and Order: Special Victims Unit belongs to Dick Wolf and NBC television. Doctor Who belongs to the BBC. I'm not making any money on this, so there.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Well, I've written a couple of DW/L&O crossovers that I've posted here under Doctor Who… so I figured, why not?
ADDITIONAL: In my fics, Munch is engaged to a supermodel named Angelina, who happens to be the Doctor's daughter (she's a non-cannon, original character, for those who are wondering).
Alex Cabot was having doubts.
"I don't think there's anywhere on Earth I can hide from – "
"Hello!" a new voice said cheerfully. It was polite, pleasant, English-accented. "Detective Munch told me I could find you here," he continued, smiling. The new arrival was in his late thirties, with light blue eyes and chestnut curls that framed his face. He wore tan pants, a white shirt, a brocade vest with a matching gray cravat, and a long green velvet jacket. He produced a crumpled paper sack from his pocket. "Care for a jellybaby?"
"Um, no…" she replied, frowning.
"I'm here to take you away from all this," he said, his blue eyes twinkling.
"I see," she said dubiously. "Are you with the FBI?"
"Really?" She was impressed.
"Yes. Celestial Intervention Agency."
"Come with me," he said briskly, leading her over to what looked like a blue wooden phone booth.
"Police Public Call Box, free for use of public," she read on the side.
'Never mind about that," he said, unlocking the door. "Ladies first," he said, indicating that she should proceed him inside.
"We're both going in there?" she asked dubiously.
"Don't worry," he grinned. "There's plenty of room!"
