In the darkness I am bound
Underneath his gaze, I fell
I can remember no sweet sounds
And all hope inside me now is quelled
A violent war is being waged
Soon I shall be nought but ash and cinder
The internal enemy is now engaged
In the destruction of all that him hinder
My hope lies beside me sleeping
All strength, as well, slumbers there
The long-shunned Lady speaks now of wonders
That golden mistress, Power, creeping
No matter if I deign to listen, all I am shall be torn asunder
And I belong to grief and fear
