SUMMARY

Grima's private musings as he watches Eowyn, from the shadows as expected and tainted by a morbid fascination with a certain flower. Of course it's not in good taste. An attempt at villanelle. All blame for the odd rhyming choice exclusively directed to musie.

(Constructive criticism welcome)

RATING: PG-13 (for disturbing premise). GENRE: Poetry/Horror.

NOTES

Ever Mine
by Wayfarer
(closetwayfarer at yahoo dot com)

Alone she shall ever pine
How despairing fair, behold!
White flower, lady ever mine

Her secret thoughts she confine
Bound by tresses burning gold
Alone she shall ever pine

Slowly drawn in by my design
Would she see ere we grow old
White flower, lady ever mine

Still she reads awry the signs
While her passion I remold
Alone she shall ever pine

For to be a match most fine
Naught less than my honour's sold
White flower, lady ever mine

And 'til she yield, 'til we twine
Deep into the night enfold
Alone she shall ever pine
White flower, lady ever mine
