He was standing there trapped between the unyielding walls.
His eyes bore into the black and cruel shadows of the undying night.
His eyes that once held will and determination held nothing but pain.
Pain so intense and deep that if you looked into those eyes you would be effulged by it.
Then there were the pitiless chains that held onto his arms and legs. Chains that wouldn't let him go. His tugged and pulled at them until he bled.
Until the blood ran down his arms.
Until the blood dripped onto the roses.
Until the roses wept.
Until the roses bled themselves.
He pulled and he tugged..........
...but they never let go.
