His catlike golden eyes swept over her in a glance, noting her silky hair falling over her waist. He offered her his hand.

"Dance with me." He whispered and she quivered involuntarily, a blush creeping up her cheeks. He moved closer and traced her cheek with his soft fingertips, then tenderly laced his fingers with hers and led them slowly to the dance floor.

You'd probably laugh
if I told you how I feel.
My noisy heart is trembling
as I search for a response

She closed her eyes as he pulled them closer in a warm embrace, his hand resting on the small of her back. She leaned into his neck, mesmerized by his touch and gentle sway. She held him closer and tighter, never wanting to let go for fear it might all just fade away.

It's just, I want to laugh with you.
It's just, I want to be spending time with you.
I always want to be by your side

His grasped her closer, feeling the rhythm of her heart beating rapidly. She closed her eyes, as millions of thoughts raced through her mind. It felt so good to be close to him. But how can something so wrong feel so... right?

If all of the world is crying,
I will smile for your sake.
When you shed tears of sorrow
I will hold you close

He buried his face into the nook of her neck, kissing her skin lightly and making her face grow hot. Skimming his fingers across her bare back, he traced out their names together.

The scent of the town after a rain
the seasons are changing.

He rested his forehead against hers and they swayed to the music for a while. She smiled against the soft fabric of his shirt, breathing in the familiar scent of his cologne.

It's just, there's nothing I can do.
It's just, no matter what, I miss you.
I've always been waiting for you.

His eyes stared lovingly into hers and shyly, his lips brushed hers in a whisper of a kiss. She pulled back in mild shock and he stroked her back softly, whispering softly into her ear. Tentatively, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him back for another soft kiss.

I'll stop time and sing
this song for you.
I'll place my wishes on this melody
and sing forever.
You don't have to say a word.
Just by the two of us being like this
within my heart, softly, like a spot of sunshine
a gentle wind blows.

As if it's cradling the two of us.

The kiss grew more intense as she gripped him tighter, her lips pressing harder onto his. He broke the kiss and moved his lips near her ear.

"Sakuno! Wake up!"

"Don't make me come in there!"

"I'm up! I'm up!"

Sakuno groaned as she threw the blankets off her body. Yawning, she picked up the pillow which she had kicked off the bed the previous night. Speaking of the previous night...

She touched the tips of her fingers to her lips and smiled to herself, her cheeks tinted red. She giggled, feeling a bit foolish and love struck. Whatever happened last night would be a secret. It would forever be between her and the boy of her dreams...

A/N: AHHH! My first try at a romance fic. Heh. Kinda sucks right? Sorry for Sakuno and Ryoma being too OOC, but I couldn't help it! I noticed a severe lack of Ryo/Saku fics and had to post something up... Also, sorry for it being kinda short. I wanted to make it longer, but somehow, I didn't know how to... heh... oops! Uh, anyway, I don't mind either flames or reviews... if you think it sucked, well, go ahead and exercise your right of speech... Oh, and I do not own Prince of Tennis, because if I did, I would not be writing fanfics. Heh.
