Disclaimers: I don't own any of the characters
Feedback: Yes please, but be gentle, this is my first LOTR
Achieve: Don't care just tell me where.
A/N: Just to let you know Arwen didn't give up her immorality, but chose to stay with Aragorn until he drew his last breath just like Legolas and her brothers and sailed with them to Valinor after. Also, please note that this is an AU type story. So please don't review with the fact that Arwen gave up her immortality because I and I changed that fact for a purpose.
Arwen and I ruled Gondor together for 122 years. During this time Arwen gave me an heir named Eldarion and many daughters. We were incredible happy together. We would spend what little free time we could find in between the duties running a kingdom gave us to simply walk hand-and-hand in the garden. When our children became old enough to walk and listen to us (to some extent), we would enjoy picnics out in the garden.
Legolas is my best friend would come and visit my family and me when his schedule allowed. I always thanked the Valar when he would always show up when Arwen was about to give birth to one of our children. He kept me calm and also to prevented me from harming my equally worried foster brothers, Elrohir and Elladan.
I was thrilled when he found time to come and live in Gondor for a year so he could teach Eldarion how to use a bow and arrow, while I taught my son how to use a sword. I also saw Gimli many time throughout the years because he was often traveling with Legolas. It's strange seeing how far they have come considering that when they first met each other they couldn't stand each other, and although they still insult each other. It's done in good humor and their best friends.
Elrohir and Elladan come to visit when they can, since they were now the Lords of Rivendell. They have been ever since our Ada (yes, I do call him father even though he not my birth father—he did raise me) left for the Undying Lands (which is just another sad tale that I don't feel like telling). But I digress, Arwen and I hear about everything that going on in our childhood home from the twins. The amusing thing is that, even though those two are now ruling Rivendell, they still find ways to pull pranks on everyone, though I must admit their current pranks a lot more tame than those in the past.
Those are some of the best moments of my life. I can feel my life now just slipping away and Arwen and the children are trying to act like nothing is wrong, but I can see the sadness that in all their eyes. As the weeks go by, I start feeling weaker, until, finally, it almost too much to get out of bed. However, I've just learned that Arwen has summoned Legolas (who is with Gimli in the mines) and the twins to come as soon as possible to the palace. Those that were mentioned are on their way here and should be here in days.
These last few days of my life I've never felt so much happiness, sadness, and love in one room. I took my last breath and let my spirit travel to Mando's Halls or wherever humans go. I felt both joy because I had most of the people I love with me, then sadness because I'll never see most of them again. Because everyone excluding Gimli, are immortal and will now sail to the Undying Lands to be with their families.TBC
A/N2 Be sure to review and tell me if I should continue. Also, if you have any suggestion for a title I'm open for ideas
