A/N: Hey everybody most of you after reading 'Things My Family Taught Me' wanted another funny type story so here it is (at least I hope it's funny). It's a quickie but hopefully a goodie.
"It's open." Janet called when she heard a knock on her office door looking up she was glad as well as a little surprised to see her best friend Sam standing in the door way of her office. Janet looked down at her watch thinking maybe she'd lost track of time and was late for their lunch meeting. To her surprise Sam was a whole hour early. "What's up Sam? Everything ok?"
"Janet I think I've finally gotten too stressed." Sam admitted as she sat down.
"And why would you think that?" Janet was getting kind of worried it wasn't every day that one Major Samantha Carter admitted to being stressed.
"Well at first I didn't think too much about it. At first it jus started with me asking the drive-thru attendant if I could get my order to go. But after that I started to hear mimes talking and that freaked me out a little bit, but I only pass by mimes once in a while so it didn't really bother me too much.
Then yesterday I noticed that when I woke up the sun had gotten to loud and I could have sworn the trees that were on the planet SG-1 visited yesterday started chasing me. But I didn't really start to get worried until last night when that teddy bear Cassie gave me started bullying me for some milk and cookies and then after that I began talking to myself, had a disagree about the subject, got into a nasty fight over it, lost, and refuse to speak to myself for the rest of the night."
By the time Sam finished speaking Janet couldn't take it any more, she burst out laughing, nearly falling off her chair. "Thanks Sam I need a good laugh. How long did it take you to come up with that?"
"Janet I'm trying to be serious here and you're laughing at me. Some friend you are laughing at me in my time off need."
"Come on Sam you can't be serious." Seeing the look on Sam's face Janet knew the answer to her question. "Oh for cryin' out loud! You are serious. Janet through her arms up in surrender, resigning herself to the fact that she was never going to have normal friends or life ever again.
