A/N- Starfire just broke up with her first long term boyfriend. No, she did not break up with Robin.

Closing time - time for you to go out, go out into the world.
Closing time - turn the lights up over every boy and every girl.
Closing time - one last call for alcohol, so finish your whiskey or beer.
Closing time - you don't have to go home but you can't stay here.

"Dude, you need to go home."

Robin looked at him, struggling to smile. "One more, Bill. Please?"

He shook his head. "No, you're already wet as the rainforest. I don't wanna risk boozing you up anymore than you already are.

Robin slammed his glass on the polished oakcounter woozily. "You know what?" He laughed a humorless laugh. "You're right."

"What's with you today, anyway? What's with the major drinking? You're a super hero; you're supposed to set a good example for people."

Robin gave a drunken shrug. "The world has turned it's back on me," He said, his voice quavering from alcohol and emotions. "The world is dead to me now."

"You need someone to take you home. Do you have a ride?"

I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home...

Robin shook his head. "I'll just go on my motorcycle."

"No, you'll crash into something for sure. I'll call a taxi for you."

"Don't have anymore money," he said as he slammed a twenty on the counter. "I'll be fine, don't worry." And he walked to the door in a drunk man's saunter.

Closing time - time for you to go back to the places you will be from.
Closing time - this room won't be open 'til your brothers or you sisters come.
So gather up your jackets, and move it to the exits - I hope you have found a friend.
Closing time - every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.

At that moment, Starfire ran into the dark bar. "Robin!" She called.

He turned his head and frowned at her. "What are you doing here, Star?" He asked thickly. "Shouldn't you be with Taylor, or whatever his name is?"

She shook her head, her beautiful green eyes bright with unshed tears. "No, Robin. I told you, he and I are over. I broke up with him."

Yeah, I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home...

"Why are you not home yet, friend Robin?"

"Because I don't want to go home, Starfire."

"Why ever not?"

"I don't want to see you and him together."

"Robin, he and I are not together. We broke up a last night, when I realized that I do not care for him like…"

"Like what?"

"Like I care for you."

Robin smiled through the booze. She cares for me… he thought hazily. "Star…" Then he fell forward.

Closing time - time for you to go back to the places you will be from...
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home...

"Come, Robin. It is time I take you home."

"I love you, Star. I've loved you all along."

Closing time - every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end...
