Haru and Katara sat at the cliff's edge, feet dangling over the valley gold-trimmed by the setting sun. The two had long since finished discussing their childhood traumas, and now sat in a comfortable silence. As the sun's edge touched the horizon, Haru spoke.
"Katara, I have something to tell you."
Katara turned and looked at her companion, who had not turned to face her.
"What is it, Haru?"
"It's..." Haru bit his lip and looked down. "It's... It's something I... Something I've been meaning to ask you. Ever since I first saw the three of you in town."
"It's about you, Katara."
Katara could've sworn she heard her pulse speed up. "Yes? What is it?"
Haru continued staring at the ground.
Katara looked down, then put her hand over Haru's. "What is it, Haru?"
The Earthbender finally met her eyes directly. "Katara, I... I..." He smiled shyly. "Can you set me up with your brother?"
