"So those are the Autons," said the Buffybot, brushing tiny little bits of shattered plastic out of her hair. "Early prototypes of me, I'd say, perhaps, wouldn't you? They're not so tough, are they?"
"Cool moves," said the Doctor. "I really liked that stabbing thing you do. Next time, though, maybe a metal rod would be more effective than a wooden stake."
"Oh, I think I'll stick to what I know best," said the Buffybot with a smile. "Now, has anybody seen where Mervyn's got to?"
"Me? I'm sweeping up. What else do you expect a manically depressed menial robot with a dustpan and brush to be doing, especially one with a pain in all the diodes down its left side? Tap dancing?"
"I can't wait to see that," said the Doctor. "Your talents seem to be endless."
"That's right, it's insult the robot time, isn't it? And while we're about it, if you can't be bothered to remember my name, why not just call me Shirley Temple?"
