Notes: This is for Geoduck, his request was for something involving Kagura and Ritsu wearing each other's clothes. All right I took major liberties and this is what my muses told me to write.

"What a beautiful day..." Kagura mused. An underlying sadness still filled her heart, but seeing Isuzu and Haru happy gave her a slight feeling of optimism. She had spent so much time on making Kyou hers, that she had forgot what it felt like to live just for her. Slowly but surely as she accepted the truth, she could feel a great burden lift from her shoulders. The air felt just a little bit fresher and everything seemed just that much brighter. Those thoughts were momentarily pushed aside when she spotted Ritsu. Her smile brightened to see him wearing men's clothing and looking very handsome as well.
"Ritchan!" Kagura called out.
"Oh Kagura-chan," he spoke softly.
"How have you been?" she asked sweetly.
"I've been doing okay, how about you?" he asked, unable to hide his concern.
"You know, I've been much better lately," she admitted.
Ritsu let out a sigh and smiled warmly. Almost everyone was pretty aware that she had given up on chasing Kyou. Before Ritsu could reply another voice called out to him. Instantly he began to blush at the sight of Mitsuru waving at them.
"Sorry I'm late." Mitsuru apologized, slightly out of breath.
"Oh no you're not late, I was too early. Please forgive me," Ritsu pleaded, his cheeks burning bright red.
"I should have known to get here sooner! So please forgive me," Mitsuru replied, looking equally frizzled.
"They are so much alike." Kagura thought, watching the pair apologize profusely to one another. Grinning broadly, she cleared her throat to get their attention.
"Hello, I'm Kagura."
"Oh, I'm Mitsuru, but everyone calls me Mii."
"I'm so sorry, how rude of me not to introduce you..." Ritsu started until Kagura lightly placed a hand on his mouth.
"It's okay you don't have to apologize. I'm not offended," Kagura laughed gently. "I'm Ritsu's cousin. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"It's a pleasure to meet you too. I'm always glad to meet a Sohma that doesn't act like Shigure-sensei."
Kagura giggled. "Oh I see you're Shi-chan's editor. My condolences to your poor nerves."
Kagura's laughter seemed contagious as the tension lifted. Mii and Ritsu both laughed along with her.
"We're having lunch would you like to join us?" Mii offered.
"No, I don't want to intrude plus I need to be getting back home. It was very nice meeting you."
Kagura and Mii slightly bowed to each before Kagura lightly pecked Ritsu on the cheek. "Come visit me sometime, Ritchan."
Smiling, Kagura took her leave of the couple. Love was certainly in the air. If Ritsu with all his insecurities could make a love connection than there was certainly hope for her. Her walk home consisted of memories of a time when Ritsu use to wear her clothes. He would wear her clothes because pretending to be a girl made him feel more confident. She was so pleased to see him now. They had both come a long way. Ritsu no longer needed the security of women's clothing and she no longer needed to cling to a love she would never have. Maybe the cursed Sohmas could have happy endings?
"Everyone deserves a happy ending."
Kagura knew she would never have Kyou but she wouldn't give up on finding her happy ending. She could be stubborn in that way.
