"Ok, here it comes!" Sean leaned forward in his seat.
Sean and Stiletti sat huddled around the TV watching a soap opera. Lou glanced up from his paper to see what the hullabaloo was about, and shook his head returning his attention to the paper. Had he found any amusement in Sean and Probie's actions, he would've paid more attention, but it was nothing new. They were like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum of the firehouse.
"Look! See, I told you! After they're done screwing, Franz is going to tell her he's been cheating!" Sean announced with a broad grin.
"Ten bucks says it's the blonde." Franco said plopping down on the couch beside Stiletti.
"No, no, no, no." Sean shook his head. "It's the Italian-Rosa."
"Twenty bucks?" Franco shot him a questioning look.
Sean nodded, not turning his attention from the screen.
"Sharon," Franz began.
"Yes Franz." Sharon looked into his eyes adoringly.
"There's something I need to tell you."
"See! See! What'd I tell you?" Sean exclaimed triumphantly.
"Shut up!" Franco growled as he leaned back and propped his feet up.
"What is it?" Sharon's eyes were big and innocent.
"I've…been seeing someone else."
Sharon's eyes filled with tears. "Who is it?"
The TV went black.
"No! What the f-?"
"I know you boys ain't watchin' no soap operas in my firehouse." Chief Riley stood in the doorway with the remote control.
"Chief! I had twenty bucks on the blonde!" Franco cried.
"You pansies ain't got nothing better to do than watch soaps?" Tommy asked entering the room and grabbing bottled water out of the fridge.
"Don't see how that should bother you seeing as your life is one." Franco muttered grabbing his can of soda and leaving the room.
"Man Chief! We were just going to see who Franz was cheating on Sharon with!" Sean stood from the couch with a slight pout.
Stiletti just sat and watched.
