Goodbye

Summary: It took them a few days, but they eventually realized that Jinx wasn't coming back.

Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans or the characters.

A/N: I love the idea of Kid Flash and Jinx, and this is coming from someone who doesn't usually like het…

"She'll come back. She just needs to time to think…"

"Face it, crud eater. She's gone."

It had taken them a few days, but they eventually realized that Jinx wasn't coming back. It was as Gizmo had said…she was gone, and it was all thanks to Kid Flash. Well, maybe it wasn't completely his fault. Madame Rouge's rejection couldn't have been easy on Jinx. She had looked up to her, but Rogue had just laughed in her face.

But it wasn't their fault.

"If she was leaving, she would have come back for her stuff."

"Have you seen what that loser did to her room? There isn't anything left to take."

Why was she so attracted to the good guys? They had all seen her with Stone—Cyborg. And to think, she had been the only one who wanted to be a serious villain, and yet she was the one falling head over heals for do-gooders.

Okay, maybe some it was their fault. Maybe she wouldn't have left if they'd actually put forth a little effort. She wanted in the Brotherhood of Evil, but none of them had done anything to help.

"Now I don't see why you're so upset about her leavin'. I say good riddance!"

Or maybe she left because she didn't feel like part of the team…

No. No. No. It was his fault, not theirs.

Or…maybe it was because robbing parking meters and building forts out of sofa cushions wasn't evil enough for her.

"Are you still waiting for her to come back?"

"We'll probably see her on the news in a few days because she stopped a bank robbery or something."

"No, she wouldn't…"

"Goodbye."

It had taken them a few days, but they eventually accepted that Jinx wasn't coming back.

But hey, at least now they really were the Hive Five.
