Chapter Four:

The girls woke up early, and were at the gates exactly at 5:00. Tsunade was already there talking to what appeared to be Anko and another kunoichi that they didn't recognize. She had hair the color of the midnight sky that reached her waist, and her eyes were a dark green. She wore no jonin vest, but had fingerless gloves on, and ninja sandals. Her clothes were black pants that bagged, and a tight ¾ sleeve shirt that matched her eyes in color. She appeared to be a few years older than Anko.

"Oh…good morning girls," Tsunade said turning around to smile at them. She sweat dropped at how many bags Tenten was carrying; she knew they were all weapons. "I see you have packed accordingly, although Tenten you may have gone a little bit overboard with the weapons,"

"You can never be too careful," Tenten said smiling.

"True, true. Girls, I would like you to meet Sumi. She and Anko will be your trainers on your trip," Tsunade said, "You are to listen to them, blah blah blah. You know all of that. Sumi knows medical jutsu's so she can also help you Sakura, and she is great with weapons for you Tenten. I hold her in the highest respects, and I hope you all will too,"

"Hello," Hinata said first and bowed low to Sumi.

"Nice to meet you," Tenten said also bowing.

"Hi," Sakura said bowing.

"Hey," Ino said and bowed.

"Hello, nice to meet you all. I am glad you got up so early, get used to it. Now we have a long way to go, so why don't we begin," Sumi said smiling, and motioned for them to lead down the road.

"Bye Tsunade, and thanks for everything," Sakura said, bowing to Tsunade and started walking. The other girls did the same and walked side by side down the road. Anko, and Sumi followed them from behind. The girls were silent as they walked farther and farther away from Kohona, from their home. They only looked back once to see Tsunade waving at the gates. They waved back and continued walking.

"Hey, do you guys know where Sakura is? I mean it's not like her to be late," Naruto said puzzled at his only female's disappearance. She was the most likely of the three to come to training.

"Hn," Sasuke said crossing his arms. Of course he wondered where she was, but he wasn't going to let Naruto know that.

"Um…I don't know. Oh well," Kakashi said picking up his famous orange colored book again.

"Don't you guys care? I mean she could be kidnapped, or missing, or really hurt!" Naruto started ranting about all of the things that could have happened. Sasuke began to get slightly ticked at his teammate's actions.

"Shut up dobe," Sasuke said calmly and began walking towards Tsunade's office. Naruto followed him and Kakashi came up in the rear.

"I haven't been bossed around, yelled at, punched, or kicked all morning. This is so relaxing," Shikamaru said lying down on the grass. Chouji was near by eating some chips, and Asuma was leaned up against a tree smoking a cigarette.

"Yeah, but usually Ino would be here by now," Chouji said worry evident in his tone.

"Probably, we better go ask Tsunade. She probably did something," Asuma said walking towards her office. Chouji stood up, prodded Shikamaru's side since his eyes were now closed, and followed behind his sensei.

"How troublesome…," Shikamaru said as he got up and followed behind his team but at a much slower pace.

"Hey Shino, do you know where Hinata is?" Kiba asked for the hundredth time that morning.

"No," Shino said, which was his same reply every single time.

"I mean, she has never like ever skipped training without telling us first," Kiba said extremely puzzled.

"Come on guys you are starting to annoy me," Kurenai said as she started for Tsunade's office. The boys followed slightly confused at where she was going, but following all the same.

"Where is our beautiful flower?" Lee cried as he ran around the clearing looking behind tree trunks, and under leaves.

"Not here," Neji said trying to concentrate on meditating. He was asking himself the same question.

"But where could she beeeeeeeee?" Lee whined.

"Why don't we go ask Tsunade?" Gai said appearing out of thin air.

Neji just stood up and began walking that way hoping to but some distance in-between himself and his green spandex glad cell mates.

Soon enough all four of the teams were gathered in Tsunade's office, looking at each other and wondering what the other teams were doing there. All four of their kunoichi's couldn't have gone missing could they?

Tsunade just glared at them extremely pissed off that they had to come and bother her.

"WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING HERE?" she asked/yelled at them getting their attention to switch from staring at each other to stare at her.

"Well…we were wondering where Sakura was," Naruto said.

"And Ino," Chouji said.

"And Hinata," Kiba added.

"And our precious flower Tenten," Lee shouted.

"Oh, is that it. They are on a training mission, now would you all go and leave me alone," Tsunade said and turned her attention back towards her paperwork.

"NANI?" everyone screamed, well not Shino, Sasuke, Neji, or Kakashi.

"Do I have to repeat myself? They left this morning on a training mission," Tsunade said her voice filled with irritation as she glared at the twelve people in front of her.

"For how long?" Kakashi asked still reading his book.

"Oh…I'd say a good year or so. I sent Sumi and Anko to train them," Tsunade said. Kakashi, Kurenai, Gai, and Asuma's eyes all widened slightly.

"Are you sure that is a good idea?" Asuma asked.

"Yes I do. Now would you all leave so I can try to get some work done," Tsunade said and motioned for them to leave which they did.

"I wonder why they left. I mean they didn't even say goodbye," Naruto said as he thought out loud. He was ahead of the other eleven people, as they thought about the new turn of events. The girls would be gone a whole year, that was a long time.

"Me too," Kiba said catching up to Naruto.

"I wonder," Chouji said huffing as he caught up.

"They are going to use their youth to the fullest extent," Lee said punching the air in front of him as he appeared by them.

"Yeah, but they could have done that here. I mean they have gone away for a whole entire year, that is a long time," Naruto said sadly.

"Yeah it is," Chouji said forgetting all about the chip bag that was in his hands.

"Hey Kurenai, can we cancel training today?" Kiba asked looking at his sensei.

"I guess so," Kurenai said looking at the sadness on Kiba's face. Kiba had thought of Hinata as a sister.

"Thanks," Kiba said as he turned around and kept on walking.

"Training is canceled for us as well guys," Asuma said lighting a new cigarette.

"Us too," Kakashi said flipping a page in his book.

"And since they have all decided to cancel training, I have as well," Gai said his usually smile not on his face.

"I wonder what it is going to be like without the girls here. For a whole year…" Naruto trailed off and everyone thought about this. It would seem weird without the girls around, but they would probably get used to it. The thought still remained though as to why they had left.

The boys and Kurenai split up all heading their own directions. The teammates thought about what it would be like without a female on the team, and the senseis wondered what training was going to be like with just guys.

A/N: Ok, another chapter. Kind of boring, yes I know, and short. I am so sorry! Kind of got caught up at the end on the thoughts about why they had left. What do you guys think? Comments, ideas, criticism! All is welcome! Please review! Am I moving too fast?
