A/N: Other than being another one-shot, this is I only have three words to summarize my thoughts about this ficlet: Colette is weird. Oo
Buoyancy, resilience, optimism; each of which seemed in limitless supply, going hand-in-hand with the warm sunny rays filtering down that day. Lloyd reflected that serenity as he feigned casualty strolling through the forest on his way to Iselia.
Confidence, assertiveness, and sharpened wits bundled in his eyes. He was a man on a mission. But as if it could not get any cheesier, his mission was simply so: Hook up with the girl he liked.
Easier said than done, 'Grand Swordsman'.
As he approached the town gates, he felt his pulse quicken dramatically; there she was! The woman of his highest affection, just over yonder, sitting on a bench! Good Goddess, how can she just sit there when he, Lloyd Aurion, was about to possibly ask one of the most important questions of his life!
Here goes the show, hope it don't blow: "Hey, Colette." He said heedlessly.
She looked up from her day dreaming, oh a thousand curseson the sun for playing upon her face so skillfully! "Oh, hey Lloyd!" she replied in her usual carefree (melodic) voice.
"Yeah," he stumbled with his words quite carelessly before deciding a straightforward advance would be the best course of action. "...Do you wanna go out sometime?"
She wore a puzzled look, but still she looked marvelous in his eyes. "What do you mean?"
He rubbed the back of his head, "Well, like, just go out sometime or something!"
She blinked, the innocent azure pools— "You just said the same thing; I still don't get it..."
Wait! I didn't finish! The innocent azure pools in her eyes— "Like a... uh... couple..."
... ..."Oh, I'm so sorry, Lloyd, but I'm already—"
"Aaw, flowers? You shouldn't have..."
...Well I'll be...! It's a Coloishe!
