A/N: I know this story got booted before because of the rule, MST. Anywho, this is the expanded version. I hope you all like it enough to review.

"Come on, Sam! You'll be late!" Cassie called out from the foot of the stairs at Sam's small house.

"Late for what, Cassie? We're going to a karaoke bar – no reservations required, smart one," Sam said as she calmly walked down the stairs dressed in a dark blue outfit that she'd had custom made by a friend of hers.

"Late for my date! Hello? Remember, you said you'd come with me in case he was a jerk and I didn't want to finish the date so I could just point you out in the crowd and spend the rest of the night with you?"

"Oh, yeah. I did say that, didn't I? In that case, let's go." Sam grabbed her matching dark blue purse and a black jacket that she put on as Cassie pushed her out the door.

Holy Mary mother of God! Sam thought as she looked out over the audience she was going to be singing to. Cassie's blind date was going great and Sam had decided to risk the embarrassment again to sing live in a karaoke bar – she was now regretting her boldness immensely.

There in the back corner was a table full of her old boyfriends. There was James – her boyfriend throughout her senior year of high school; Jonas (not Hansen who was dead), who was her boyfriend from her first years at the Academy. She broke up with him when she found out he was only dating her because of her intelligence. There was Pete, one of her more recent break-ups…and even a few more she didn't care to think about.

Holy shit, there's Jack. Sam had long before given into that little indulgence and referred to her CO by his first name in her mind. And with the song I picked out for tonight! Oh, this is going to be just lovely.

"And now, Samantha Carter singing 'This Kiss' by Faith Hill." Sam got on stage and started to sing, looking anywhere but at that table Jack had just joined.

I don't want another heartbreak
I don't need another turn to cry
I don't want to learn the hard way
Baby, hello, oh, no, goodbye
But you got me like a rocket
Shooting straight across the sky

Sam's heart beat even faster as she looked at the table to discover all ten men's eyes on her, wondering whom she was singing about. This is scary, she thought. I didn't know all of them knew each other. I wonder how they met.

It's the way you love me
It's a feeling like this
It's centrifugal motion
It's perpetual bliss

It's that pivotal moment
It's impossible
This kiss, this kiss (Unstoppable)
This kiss, this kiss

The men all started whispering to one another, causing Sam to nearly faint. What the hell were they planning? This was kinda freaky for Sam's way of thinking. There were just too many of her old boyfriends at that table for her to be comfortable.

Cinderella said to Snow White
How does love get so off course
All I wanted was a white knight
With a good heart, soft touch, fast horse

Ride me off into the sunset
Baby, I'm forever yours

Jack left the table after all the other men pretty much ordered him to do so. Sam couldn't help but wonder again what they were talking about that would cause such a look of determination to grace Jack's face.

It's the way you love me
It's a feeling like this
It's centrifugal motion
It's perpetual bliss

It's that pivotal moment
It's unthinkable
This kiss, this kiss (Unsinkable)
This kiss, this kiss

You can kiss me in the moonlight
On the rooftop under the sky
You can kiss me with the windows open
While the rain comes pouring inside
Kiss me in sweet slow motion
Let's let every thing slide
You got me floating, you got me flying

The men left at the table just sat, waiting for something they all knew was coming. Sam thought that she'd like to know what they knew...nah, that'd be too disturbing.

It's the way you love me
It's a feeling like this
It's centrifugal motion
It's perpetual bliss

It's that pivotal moment
It's subliminal
This kiss, this kiss (It's Criminal)
This kiss, this kiss

Jack returned back into the karaoke bar as the last chords of the song faded out. He was sitting astride a white gelding, red rose in hand as he walked the horse up to in front of Sam. "Someone call for a white knight?"

Sam felt tears come to her eyes, but she was too much like her father to let them fall. She let go of the microphone and allowed Jack to pick her up, placing her in front of him on the horse. The two kissed passionately before Jack kicked the gelding into motion again, carrying away his princess.

The men from the table sighed collectively. James smiled, "It's nice to know that someone in the Samantha Carter Fan Club got the girl. Even if it was Jack."

Everyone in the SCFC laughed at James's remark. It may have been true that Jack was the President of the club, but that didn't necessarily mean that everyone liked him that much. He worked with Sam day in and day out! The lucky bastard.

No one was surprised five months later when invitations were received through the mail to Sam and Jack's wedding. What made the members of the SCFC laugh was the little scrawled note on the bottom that read, "Hahahaha. How do you like me now? I got the girl! Hahahaha! Oh, and I'm sure you're all gathered around wondering how I got past the regulations. His name is Thor and that's all I'm authorized to say without killing you afterwards." Pete was the only one who got the last part, and he wasn't willing to share.

"It's classified," he said. "I'm actually really surprised Sam let him say that much…and I don't even know what the hell happened!"

When Sam walked down the isle, there was a quartet of violinists playing a rich, classical melody that Jack loved; but when the couple had their first dance as newly weds, the song played was their own special one that sent thrills up Sam's spine whenever she heard it now: "This Kiss".

As the song came to a close, Jack kissed Sam for all he was worth, dipping her back in the process. It was a perfect replica of the kiss they shared in the control room if Teal'c had anything to say about it. Too bad Sam didn't remember it…

A/N: Well, what do you think? I may be willing to write another chapter to put Jack and Sam into more embarassing situations...
