Disclaimer: I don't own this.

Note: This is a short story written by Ginny about her first year at Hogwarts. The reason I'm doing this is that I need to learn how to write diarys (since I'm not having one).

My name is Ginny Weasley.

Yay! I have a NEW diary.

The last one I had turned out to be evil. That was too bad. It was kinda nice to have something to talk to.

Soon I will start my second year at Hogwarts, the magic school.

But before I start writing about this year, I will write about my first year there.

A short story of my first year at Hogwarts, by Ginny Weasley:

Ok, this is it.

Harry Potter, the-boy-who-lived, was staying in our house.

(I just love him!)

He is a friend of one of my six brothers. (You heard right. Six brothers. I'm the only girl.)

Anyway, that is not part of the story. Let's talk about when I was at Hogwarts.

First, it went on quiet well. I went to classes, made my homework... You know, stuff you do in a school.

Then I discovered that someone had left a diary with my books. It was empty, so I thought finder's keeper.

I first tried to write my name in it, but it just disappered. Then an answer came written on the page.

An answer written by none less than 'Tom Riddle'.

I wrote stuff in the book, getting answers from Tom. But something was weird. I started to have those times when I couldn't remember where I had been.

I tried to get rid of the book, by flushing it down a toilet. That, of course didn't work. Harry Potter found it, and I had to take it back.

Well, I was scared that Tom would tell Harry some of the stuff I had wrote.

Then Tom asked me to do something. I can't remember what.

The next thing I knew I woke up in 'The Chamber of Secrets', with Harry (sweet Harry) at my side, and the diary on the wet, slippery floor. A little further away a giant snakelike thing was, seemingly dead.

Well, that's about it. A very brief story. Of course it happened more during the year, but I can't write everything now, can I?
