It was the end of another day of fun and energy well-spent as the kids ran off to their homes and Stephanie stood alone, about to wave goodbye to Sportacus as his rope ladder dropped down. As he was about to jump up, Stephanie said something which startled him.

"Don't the stars look pretty?" She was standing completely still, which was rare, and gazing directly up into the endless azure above.

Sportacus followed her view and murmurmed softly, "Yeah, I guess I do miss a lot when I'm moving so fast all the time."

Stephanie looked over to him. "It probly is good to take breaks now and then." She said, matter-of-factly.

He chuckled, and knelt down next to her. "See, in my airship, I have windows in the ceiling, so, when I am falling asleep, that is when I see the stars."

She grinned. "Well, perfect then. I guess you're not missing out after all."

Sportacus chuckled again. "Perhaps not."

Another moment passed by while they watched the lights twinkling in and out.

Stephanie sighed. "I just love the night sky... and knowing you are up there, watching over us."

He squinted at her. "Of course! Where else would I be?"

That was rhetorical, she knew. "Can I tell you something?" She asked suddenly, inquisitively.

"Sure!" And when he leaned over to hear what she had to say, she made as if to whisper him a secret, only to at the last second, simply plant a swift kiss on his cheek. He clearly blushed under the moonlight, and nodded flusteredly, while she giggled nervously.

"Just becuz... you kno." She stared at the ground and kicked a pebble with a pink sneaker...

He reached over and tilted her chin up... "Goodnite, mín litla stjarna... Sweet dreams!" He left a soft kiss on her forehead, then with a spin and a twirl he grabbed ahold of his rope ladder, and was gone.

Stephanie smiled as she went inside her house, and wistfully hummed as she walked to her room. She glanced out her window before quickly changing and snuggling under her covers. "I'll always be your little star..."
