I'll tell you what it's going to be like
I saw you on the bus and that was that
There's more to this than passing by
There's more to this than meets the eye

She stood out. As she jumped off the school bus, at their usual meeting point, it was obvious which one was Keely Teslow. Her radiant beauty outshone any other girl getting off the vehicle.

And that was it. Phil Diffy fell in love.

I'll tell you what it's going to be like
I saw you on the bus, I saw your shoes
They fell apart some time ago
I'll buy some more in five years

"Hey!" Keely said, running up and higgung her best friend. And when she hugged him, she never wanted to let go.

Phil smiled at her as she borke away. "Hey Keels."

"So, what's up future-boy?" Keely asked, muttering the end of the sentence so not to be overheard.

Phil looked at her. "Not much. Walking to school with a beautiful girl."

Keely's heart skipped. He called her beautiful!

It's not my fault, I don't care
I don't regret a single thing
It's not my fault, I don't care
I don't regret a single thing

Phil looked at Keely. It wasn't his fault he had fallen in love with her. It would have been impossible not to.

His dad had said not to get too attached, but Phil didn't regret falling in lvoe with Keely.

Plus his mom had agreed that the time machine would never be fixed, and so he had the freedom to love whoever he wanted.

I'll tell you what its going to feel like
You lost a limb and you can feel it
If you leave, at night, not by my side
Cause I'm not there to hold you too tight

Keely smiled at Phil. She loved him so much. Whenever she was apart from him, she felt as though her arm had been cut off. He was that important to her.

She wanted him to hug her, so tight, and dance with her, like they all do in the movies. Like when Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody danced in the O.C. Kinda attached, like they needed each other to live. Like they were life support machines.

Leave, I'll tell you what its going to be like
No you can never hold my hand
If only they can know or understand
That you and me are now together

"Keely. My dad said we shouldn't get too emotianally attached," Phil said, out of the blue. He didn't know why, maybe he just wanted to see her face; her reaction. If her face remained the same, he'd know that her feelings towards him, weren't shared with his.

"Oh," Keely said, her face dropping. "Okay...is he close to fixing it?"

It's not my fault, I don't care
I don't regret a single thing
It's not my fault, I don't care
I don't regret a single thing

It was then that he realised. She loved him. "But you know what? I don't care. Because it's impossible for me to not get emotionally attached to you. Because I love you Keels."

"Really?" Keely asked, breathlessly.

Phil nodded. "I've never been more serious in my life."

Oh oh, you can have it all, if that's alright
Oh I will give it all to you, cause you never lied before
And you can have it all, if that's alright
And you can have it all, if it's alright, oh oh

"Well, in that case, I love you too," Keely smiled.

And they kissed, right there, next to the bus stop.

And Via and Owen, in the back of the bus, looked at them, and exchanged knowing grins.

It had only been a matter of time.

Hope you like this one! I'm currently writing Weird Wednesday...(almost done) and At Last. Yes, I finally have ideas for that one, so I'll update that on ASAP.
