The promise he made to himself

He had noticed her since a long, long time ago.
So when he realized that she was his teammate from that day, he was so happy he could shout.
To him, she is a beautiful, cute, but a little mean girl.
He knew such a good girl won't even like him. And that's why he did even not say a word about his feeling to her.
Thanks to the teamwork they need, they are always together.
He always tied very hard to show himself, only hoped she would know that she would be protected whenever he was there.
Sometimes he would be saved from her, since she could use many kinds of ninja tools to fight, which he seldom uses.
But he was shamed to be saved by a girl he loved. So he would practice his skill harder and harder in the night.
Every time he heard his name is called, his heart was pounding.
"Lee, you still didn't want to go home? It's really late now."
She would remind him every time when sun goes down.
"It's ok. You go home now." he would give her a smile, then turn back to practice his skill even harder. If be stronger would make she loves him, he will strive all his life.
Tenten never know his passion for her. But he had promised himself that some day, someday in the future, he will tell her.
It was a promise he concealed in his deep, deep mind, which he will never break.
