Chapter 53: Welcome to RAW!

The next evening, Stacy and Elena were on their way to the limo to go to RAW. Both of them were excited beyond belief, with it being Elena's first time and Stacy being able to see some of her old friends again. Elena looked smoking in her black tank top, black pants with a silver butterfly on the left hip, and black combat boots.

When they pulled up to the arena they walked to the women's locker room. The two girls walked in to find Mickie James, Candice Michelle and Maria getting ready for the show. All three of them ran up to Stacy to give her a hug, squealing in delight. "Girls, this is Elena, or 'Angel', and she might be joining your family soon!" Stacy said excitedly.

"Wow! We've seen you on Smackdown! You're really good, especially for showing Melina how to shutup," Candice laughed.

"Thanks, it's great to meet you guys, and I look forward to our match tonight Mickie," Elena replied politely.

"Me too! It's going to be so much fun!" Mickie exclaimed happily. "I heard it'll be right after McMahon announces you possibly coming to RAW, which should be after Orton and Hardy's match."

"Sounds good to me," Elena smiled.

"Well you guys finish getting ready, I'm going to show Elena around. See you later!" Stacy called out, taking Elena by the hand and walking her around backstage. "I have a few people I want you to meet and then we'll get you to the curtain for your match."

Elena simply followed as Stacy dragged her by the hand, but was excited to meet some very famous superstars like HBK, Val Venis, Hardcore Holly and...John Cena. Elena started blushing as soon as she saw him. "Stacy, that's John Cena!"

"I know, I'm trying to take you over there to introduce you to him," Stacy laughed, trying to pull a very shy Elena over to him.

"No, no, no! I can't! I don't know what to say to him!" Elena said, trying to escape.

"Just go say hi!" Stacy told her, pushing towards the current WWE Champion. Elena lost her footing and ended up smacking right into John Cena.

"Whoa!" he exclaimed, wrapping his arms around her to keep her from falling. "You all right there?" he chuckled.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" Elena stuttered, standing on her own feet.

"Hey it's no problem, can't complain about a beautiful woman knocking into me," John smiled. Elena almost melted right then and there. "You're Angel, aren't you?"

"Uh yeah, I'm just here for tonight since McMahon offered me a place here. I'm still thinking about it though," she explained.

"Wow, really? That'd be pretty cool if you joined us here on RAW." John told her, making her blush and tuck some hair behind her ear.

"That means a lot coming from you, thank you." she told him.

"Well I mean it, I'd like to see you come on the show. I've actually gotta go now, but hopefully I'll see you after the show?" he asked, sounding hopeful.

"Yeah! Sure, I'd like that. See ya later," Elena said as he sent a wink her way before leaving.

When the coast was clear, Stacy came up from behind the star-struck Elena. "Someone's blushing!" she giggled.

"Shutup," Elena whined, trying to look away and cover her face. "Well the show's about to start so we should probably head back to the locker room." Stacy agreed and walked with her, again happy to see all her old friends. They all gossiped about all the superstars, with Maria dating Jeff Hardy, and Candice dating Carlito, and eventually getting to the subject of Elena and the Animal.

"So what's it like to be dating Batista?" Mickie asked anxiously.

"Well...we're not actually dating, we're just friends." Elena said quietly, If we're even that anymore.

"Honey, I'm sorry but everything we've seen on Smackdown, there's no 'just friends' about it," Candice laughed.

"That's what I've been trying to tell her!" Stacy exclaimed, causing all the divas to laugh. Just then a knock came on the door, with a stagehand telling Angel that she was needed at the curtain.

"Well gals, it looks like it's time," Angel said and stood to leave. "I'll see you out there Mickie!"

"Okay!" Mickie replied excitedly as Angel left the room.

Angel walked to the curtain, being told that McMahon was already in the ring, about to announce her. While waiting by the curtain a friendly voice spoke up behind her, "Hey there Angel," John Cena greeted, title on his shoulder.

Angel turned and smiled at him, "Hey John."

"So have you decided to come to RAW yet?" he asked a bit hopefully.

Angel laughed, "You saw me like twenty minutes ago! What makes you think I made a decision already?"

"Aw come on," he whined, causing her to laugh even more.

"I'll tell you what, I won't make any final decisions until Friday. So I'm not saying yes, but I'm not saying no either. Okay?" she asked.

John gave her a sweet smile, "Okay. Have a good match with Mickie, a'ight?"

"I will, thank you." Angel replied as she gave him a smile and watched him walk off. She then started listening to McMahon's, not realizing that a certain World Heavyweight Champion, with a bouquet of roses in his hand, had seen the whole thing. Needless to say, he was not very happy at what had just taken place. He continued to watch her, as she listened to McMahon.

"Here tonight is a special guest from Smackdown, who I hope will be joining the RAW brand of superstars very soon. May I introduce, Angel!" McMahon exclaimed, as 'Wings of a Butterfly' filled the arena.

Angel walked through the curtain and stood at the top of the ramp, glancing at the huge crowd around her. The cheers were deafening, and it was awesome. Angel then walked down to the ring, hitting hands with anyone in reach. She then slipped into the ring and shook Mr. McMahon's hand before he offered her the mic.

"Thank you so much Mr. McMahon for giving me this great opportunity to perform for all these fans tonight!" she said pointing to the audience. "This night will definitely help me in making my decision as to whether I will stay on Smackdown..." she was cut off by a lot of 'boo's and it made her laugh. "Or if I will be joining RAW." This caused the audience to erupt in cheers, making her smile even more. McMahon shook her hand one more time before exiting the ring, which cued Mickie's entrance.

Angel stood ready in the ring as Mickie skipped down the ramp. Once she got in, they both shook hands, ready to go. As soon as the bell rang, they both circled the ring, wondering what the other one would do. Angel charged, but Mickie leapt right over her, making Angel laugh. This is gonna be good, she thought to herself. Both women were now circling the ring again, and locked up in the middle. Angel was just barely able to get Mickie cornered in the turnbuckle, and sent a few shoulders to her abdomen before the ref separated them.

Mickie came out of the corner, right into a clothesline from Angel. When Mickie was down, Angel ran to the top rope, ready for her Flying Angel (suicide head-butt). However just before she could make the jump, someone's entrance music started playing. Angel turned and looked shocked and angered beyond all belief.

Randy Orton arrogantly made his way down to the ring, a smirk on his face. Obviously Mickie and Angel's match wasn't going to continue, so two refs grabbed Mickie and got her out of there. Randy got into the ring, while Angel backed away from him. "Hey there Angel," he smirked, with a mic in hand. "So you might be coming to RAW huh? Wow, like they don't have enough whores on this show." Angel rolled her eyes, wondering what he hoped to accomplish by being out here. "I just wanted to say that I think it'd be great if you came onto RAW. Maybe uh..." he walked up closer to her. "We could get to know each other better," he said taking her chin in his fingers. Angel slapped his hand away and tried walking around him. Orton grabbed her hand and brought her to a halt.

"Get off Orton," she warned, trying to pull her wrist out of his grip. Orton refused to let go, and actually pushed her into a turnbuckle. Angel glared at him as he placed an arm on each side of her, trapping her. Angel shoved him, but he didn't go anywhere, and caught her hands in his. The next thing she knew he pulled her against his chest, and started leaning down towards her face.

The crowd started cheering, as John Cena came running to the ring. Orton threw Angel into the WWE Champion, who caught her against his chest. Before he could ask if she was all right, he got her out of the way of Orton's fist. Cena and Orton were at blows as Angel sat there and watched, not sure what she could do. Then the crowd cheered even louder when another superstar decided to join the party.

"Dave?" Angel screamed in shock as Batista slipped through the ropes and pulled Orton off Cena. He sent a quick punch to his face before tossing him over the top rope. When he turned around, he saw Cena kneeling by Angel with an arm around her back.

"You okay?" he was asking her as she simply nodded, asking him if he was all right. Before Cena could say anything he was hauled to his feet by a very pissed Dave Batista. "What the hell man?" Cena exclaimed, before he was given a Batista Bomb into the mat.

Angel couldn't believe what she just saw, and jumped up to confront him. "What in the hell are you doing?" she yelled. Batista just looked at her before starting to leave the ring. Angel grabbed his arm and pulled him back in, giving him a hard smack across the face. "Who the hell do you think you are? What are you doing here?"

"You want him so bad, you can have him. Didn't know that champions were such a fetish of yours," he yelled back at her before finally leaving the ring. Angel watched in shock as he left, before she knelt beside John.

Batista was at the top of the ramp and saw Angel showing such concern for the WWE Champion, who was slowly coming to. He didn't know how else to say it...he had officially lost her. Batista had to get out of there before he made more mistakes with his life, giving Angel one more glance before he left.

"Are you okay? John can you hear me?" Angel asked, patting his face gently to wake him up.

He groaned before opening his eyes, and trying to smirk. "A guy could get used to this." Angel chuckled at how silly he could be, even when thrown to the mat. "Where did he go?" he asked her.

"He's gone. Come on, let's get you backstage," Angel told him as she helped him sit up before wrapping an arm around his waist, and his arm around her neck.

"You seriously trying to kill my reputation?" he laughed, being helped by a woman.

Angel laughed with him, "Looks like you caught me in the act." When they got midway up the ramp, John felt more capable of walking himself. To Angel's surprise, he raised her wrist in the air for the audience who cheered for both of them. John wrapped an arm around her shoulders as he led her back through the curtain.

"Not bad for a first visit, huh?" John chuckled.

Angel scoffed, "Yeah, that was loads of fun."

"Aw come on, you have three of the best looking superstars fighting over you? You're one lucky girl." John said. Angel just laughed as he escorted her back to the locker room. "So...do you have any plans after the show?" he asked casually before she walked into the room.

"Um...not that I'm aware of," she answered.

"No she doesn't!" Stacy yelled from the other side of the door, giggling and hushing following.

Angel let her hip cock into the door, hearing a couple thuds and groans. "Well I guess you heard the lady, I don't have any plans. Did you...have something in mind?"

"Well if you weren't doing anything I was thinking we could get something to eat." John told her. Angel thought about it, wondering why it was taking her so long to say yes. If she had started off on RAW at the beginning of her career, and she were in this same situation, she would be saying yes without a moment's hesitation. But...for some reason...it wasn't that easy, she actually hesitated.

"Well uh...I'm not sure I..." Angel couldn't even finish her sentence. "I'm not sure I'm feeling up to it tonight. But I would love to take you up on that offer at another time if that's okay." she said, sincerely sorry to turn him down.

"Hey it's all good girl. Here's my number if you ever change your mind," John said, writing it down and giving it to her. "Or if you ever just need to talk. But hopefully I'll be able to see you more often," he chuckled, talking about her coming to RAW.

Angel blushed and looked down, "We still have to see, but thank you John. For everything. Have a good match." Angel gave him one last smile before walking into the locker room. John smiled too before walking off to get ready for his own match later on that evening.

When Angel walked into the locker room she noticed all the shocked faces staring at her. "Oh yeah, you guys weren't listening," she said sarcastically and started packing her bag.

"Wait, where are you going? The girls were gonna go out!" Stacy told her.

"I'm not really feeling it tonight, it's been pretty hectic. I'll grab a cab back to the hotel so you guys have fun!" she said happily, but left the room before anyone could say anything. All the girls looked at each other, having their women's intuition telling them that something was wrong. But before they could try and figure it out Angel was gone.

As Elena walked to the garage, silent tears started to fall. She didn't know what had suddenly come over her. Once she was in the garage she collapsed against the wall and slid down. When John asked her to dinner...only images of Dave came into her head. Everything that had been going on between them came flooding to her, and it hurt. Not being able to say yes to a kind man like John Cena, and thinking of Dave when she's with him led her to one conclusion...she really was in love with Dave.
