Once upon a sunlit morn
A girl was found; a wanderer
Taken in by a team of five
From desert landscape yonder
Time gave way to testing
And it took not long to see
This girl would need refinement
To be all she could be

Once upon a hazy day
A choice was given; a chance
The way to better herself
Without loosing her stance
Hesitant was the girl
To take the offer made
A secret so misunderstood
She slipped into the shade

Once upon a moonlit night
A betrayal was made; a break
Invasion of the sacred home
They threatened to overtake
She tried to save just one of them
From the face of her crimes
He steeled his heart from her
The ending of her times

Once upon a hopeless void
A fight was waged; a battle
Good versus evil, friend versus friend
Didn't seem to matter
Long and hard they fought and fell
Each Titan, old and new
Trying to hard to change her mind
Through hope remained in few

Once upon a moonlit night
A betrayal was made; a break
She turned upon her master
Her life he'd no longer take
To end the bond between them
His body burned to ash
Destructive force then triggered
A hot and deadly clash

Once upon a hazy day
A choice was given; a chance
To make up for the things she'd done
And end this deadly dance
Her life, she gave, her very soul
To save those without hope
Only Beast Boy was to hear
Those few last words she spoke

Once upon a sunlit morn
A girl was found; a wanderer
The statue, there, in all it's glory
Portrayed a face grown stronger
So sure of her last moments
Now a frozen rock in time
A Teen Titan, a true friend
The legacy lives in rhyme

I hope the poem did her justice.
