Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom.

Playah Hateah

Danny Fenton took a big bite out of his Nasty Burger as his best friend, Tucker Folly, slurped down his soda. They were just hanging out and waiting to meet with Sam Manson, Danny's other best friend, who was meeting them there.

And, just as Danny was about to start on his fries, he heard a voice from behind him.

"Oh, Ghost Boy!" said a girl. "If I could only have five minutes with you!"

He turned his head to see Paullina, his crush, wooing over an eight-by-ten photo of Danny Phantom, or, in other words, him.

But then, she saw him looking at her with a googally look in his eye.

"What are you looking at?" she said in her preppy "I'm-too-good-for-the-world" voice. (A/N I don't like Paullina all that much)

She then stalked away, clutching the photo to her chest.

"Man," said Tucker, "how come you get all the girls?"

"What?" said Danny, mouth full of burger. Then he choked it down and continued "I don't get all the girls!"

"Paullina likes you."

"She likes Danny Phantom, not Fenton."

"And what about Valerie?"

"We tried it; it didn't work out. You know that!"

"Well, what about Sam?"

"WHAT? OK, Tuck, you are now, officially, nuts."

"Hey guys," said a voice from behind. "What's up?"

"Oh, Sam! Glad you're here. Will you please talk some sense into this guy?"

"Oh, great," she said, sitting down next to Danny, "what did Boy Genus say this time?"

"He thinks you have a thing for me."

Suddenly, it seemed like Sam's heart stopped. Her cheeks filled with red and her eyes nearly bulged out of her sockets. She looked like she had seen a ghost (which is pretty ironic, when you think about it).

"He's – wrong… right? Sam?"

"Uh… yeah! Yeah, of course his is!" Then she grabbed Tucker by the arm. "Can I talk to you? Now!"

She then yanked him out side in the back of the Nasty Burger.

Hmmm… thought Danny. Something's not right…

He then snuck to the back door, became intangible, and walked through the wall of the restaurant, secretly spying on his friends' conversation.

"TUCKER!" shouted Sam. "I told you that in GOOD CONFIDENCE!"

"Look, I'm sorry, Sam, but he was gonna find out sooner or latter!"

What…? She – she does…?

Then, he forgot completely about his current situation and lost all focus of his powers, making him visible.

"AH! DANNY! Were you there the whole time?" said Sam, nervously.

"Sam? Is it… do you…?"

"What? No! I just – I – I…!" Then she looked at him. He wore a blank expression on his face and the only thing he could think to do was blink, mouth agape. She sighed. "Yeah… I do…"

"Ok…" said Tucker, backing back into the Nasty Burger, "I can tell this is going to be an awkward moment, so… see ya!" The he ran before Sam had another chance to verbally attack him.

"Look, Danny, I don't want this to change anything. I still want to be your friend and – mmmm!" Suddenly, in the middle of her speech, Danny had taken her by the forearms and wrapped his lips around hers.

At first, she didn't know what to think. Then, she found herself snaking her arms around his neck and pulling him closer. When he then pulled away, she was still a bit shocked and simply stayed there.

"Uh," he began, "sorry. Was that – too spontaneous?"

She simply smiled and kissed him again, smiling against his lips.

Yay! My first DP! Hooray for Danny and Sam!
