Rose thought, I can't go. Rose thought, I've got Mum and Mickey and Shareen. Rose thought, this is all a dream anyway. Rose thought, he's mad, this is mad.

Thanks. Thanks for what?

Rose thought, for everything. Rose said, exactly. Rose thought, I'm leaving. Rose thought, this is the beginning of the beginning. Rose thought, this is the end of the end.

I'm so glad I met you.

Rose thought, I'm going to die. Rose thought, this is the end. Rose thought, I hope it doesn't hurt when they kill me.

She saved the world. A servant girl. No-one will ever know.

Rose knew, nobody's going to remember me when I die. Rose knew.

When you say companion, is this a sexual relationship?

Rose thought, if only. Rose said, no.

I could save the world but lose you.

Rose was the most in love she could ever have been. Rose thought, damn.

I only take the best. I've got Rose.

Rose knew she would never be the best. Rose thought, it doesn't matter.

I did it again! I picked another stupid ape!

Rose thought, I am the best. Rose thought, I hate you. Rose thought, I love you more than ever.

I just remembered- I can dance!

Rose understands. When the Doctor is saving the world, any world, anything- there are lives at stake. People could die. And Rose knows that everybody lives- and now the Doctor dances. Oh, the Doctor dances.

Everywhere we go. Two words. Following us. Bad Wolf.

Rose's mind reels and her head aches. Rose hears two words, Bad Wolf, over and over and over until that's all she can hear, and then it's back to reality.

Have a fantastic life.

Rose can't think, can't do anything. Rose's life stretches out in front of her- what should have been fighting monsters turning to nights out and nights in and misery and marriage and children and it doesn't fit, none of it. Rose sees herself married with children, Rose sees herself working in a supermarket. Rose thinks no.

BAD WOLF

Time stretches out in front of the Bad Wolf's eyes. She sees everything. A thousand million stars are created and die in front of her eyes in the space of a second. Planets are made and planets wither up. Black holes open and destroy life. Humans are a blip, every species is a blip, everything is a blip. The end of time rears it's ugly head and charges through everything, rips in space-time, rips everywhere, death. The Bad Wolf brings life and ends life and is life, alive with her heart beating, heart of a human and mind of the Vortex. The Bad Wolf saves the word and kills a species, all in a second. The Bad Wolf saves the Doctor. The Doctor saves the Bad Wolf.

You were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And d'you know what? So was I.
