Okay, for anyone who doesn't know what a drabble is (I didn't), here's the short course:
From Wikipedia: A Drabble is an extremely short work of fiction with exactly one hundred words. The purpose of the drabble is brevity and to test author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in an extremely confined space. In Drabble Contests participants are given a theme and a certain amount of time to write a drabble. Drabble contests and drabbles in general are popular in science fiction fandoms and fan fiction.
Now that you know, rather than post hundreds of little 100 word drabbles, each under their own title, I'll put all all drabbles for any fandom in one "story" with each drabble as a new chapter, along with the challenge explanation (if relevant).
My Disclaimer for All Highlander Drabbles: Not my characters, I'm just stalking 'em for a while.
Ready? Set? Go!
Challenge: Open Google search and type in "character's name is". Pick a phrase or a whole sentence that comes up and use that in your drabble ... or just use it as an inspiration or the title.
My Google Phrase: The fifth gross falsehood of MacLeod is that evolution is not a fact.
Evolution. What a crock. De-evolution is more accurate. A thousand years ago, there were thousands of them. Now, in the time of The Gathering, there were three. Three immortals; millions of mortals. It was an example of de-evolution at its finest.
Methos stared across the cathedral's open rotunda. He'd been waiting for half an hour. MacLeod would make him wait a while longer. They'd been friends once, before the de-evolution reached critical mass.
Now they were two of three. And there could be only one. So they met only on holy ground now, and planned the extinction of their kind.
