(A.N This is what happens when I have to go to assembly as soon as I'm back in school: Muse goes into overdrive and I get weird ideas coming out of nowhere and making me laugh. Great... Hope you enjoy)

It was just an average day really – well, an average day if you didn't mention that the annual exams were going to start the next day – and Miss Yukari's class were being bored completely out of their minds by their homeroom teacher's annual exam talk, which was full of her ususal mixture of encouragement and snide comments about students being too clever for their own good. Sakaki was staring out of the window, Osaka was asleep on her desk, Chiyo was listening (the only one who was), Yomi was staring into space, Tomo was drawing pictures in her book and Kagura had her head on her desk and was half asleep. All was quiet until Kagura finally decided she'd had enough of being bored and turned to talk to the people nearest to her, namely Tomo and Yomi.

"I wish she'd stop this positive thinking rubbish," Kagura grumbled. "It's doing my head in. 'You must be the change you wish to see in the world' and all that crud. Its only exams damn it, not a peace conference to prevent world war three!"

"Yup" Tomo agreed, "It's making her sound like Mao Tse Tung."

"You mean the 'you must be the change you wish to see in the world' thing?"

"Tomo," Yomi sighed. "It was Mahatmah Ghandi who said that, no Mao Tse Tung."

"So who was Mao Tse Tung then?"

"He was a Chinese communist who lead the people's revolution in China in the 1950s."

"Really?" Tomo sounded shocked. "I thought he was a character in a video game, you know, like John Kennedy."

"Tomo, John Kennedy was a president of the USA."

"So what about Ash Ketchum: was he a president of the USA?"

"Tomo, Ash Ketchum is a character from the Pokemon video games," Yomi sighed. "I really do despair for your sanity sometimes. No, make that all the time."

"But I'm perfectly sane."

"You can't tell political figures from video game characters, damnit. I mean, come one, even I'm not that stupid. After all, even I know that Austin Powers is the current president of the USA."

Yomi smacked her hand to her forehead and sighed. "Forget about positive thinking, I'd be amazed if you two were capable of thinking at all."

"Says the girl who thought James Bond was a spy," Tomo quipped.

"But he is," Kagura replied, confused.

Yomi hit her head on the table: these two were too far beyond sanity – or planet Earth for that matter – to be helped at all.
